Got introduced to this place over a decade ago by my Asian friends and I have become a regular since then It's a hole in the wall in a shabby strip mall but don't let it bother you. You can eat in the sparse dining area help yourself to hot tea . It's the perfect take out place not a place for elegant dining. Not sure what to eat? Instead of 2 eggs rolls, it came with one but was still delicious. Pick up was seamless inside the store other than finding parking on the Main Street. Braised Eggplant & Chicken with Salted Fish ($25): A uniquely authentic Hong Kong dish that I rarely get to try. Delicious. I would definitely order it again. Lufa & Fresh Tofu Skin in Chicken Sauce ($22): The tofu skin was a bit tough to chew, but this is another dish that is not commonly available in standard Chinese restaurants. Beef with String Bean ($21): On point. Dry Beef Chow Fun ($20): This is a common dish found in most Chinese restaurants. It was a bit lacking in flavor, but the texture of the chow fun was perfectly rendered. Pork Chop with Salt & Pepper ($19) Another classic fare. Crispy and tasty, with jalapeños to boot. Unlimited complimentary tea was served, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Decors and ambiance were good for any occasion. It was an excellent evening spent at West Lake Plum House.

Ask for or point to what you want and the push cart ladies will mark your dim sum card.
