Set in a small strip mall, there seems to be adequate parking. Upon entering, the first impression is clean. Featuring newer furnishings, decor and construction. As a child took my order and payment, this is clearly a family business. So I've only had one dish at this place. I can say for freshness of ingredients, it's excellent. For amount of meat added, average. Unfortunately my dish was extremely bland. I had to add 7 packets of various sauce and that was still not enough. As I make this dish at home, the main sauce is soy. I wish I had grabbed more. Speaking of sauce, no sauce, forks, chopsticks or napkins were added or offered. I'm glad I checked and added on my own. This business succeeds in 2 major ways most other Chinese places don't (freshness and cleanliness). I hope I just caught an off dish. Our favorite here is the Family Special for 4. You get to pick 4 dishes from a list of 29 items for a very reasonable price. We always get the dumplings, they are our favorite, plump and juicy. We also get the general tso's chicken, and the lo mein. We recently tried their pad thai - since this is not a thai restaurant, it didnt taste authentic, I wouldn't get this one again. Happy New Year Yelp! And what a way to start 2021... with some pretty darn good Chinese food. I will not go into each dish that I ordered, but this has to be one of the better takeout joints I have had in a long time. That includes some even here in the northeast. What I gather is a pretty central theme of all of the dishes, freshness. Nothing tasted like day old takeout, and that weighs heavy on a stereotype that Chinese takeout restaurants tend to reuse and recycle unused food. I did not seem to taste that or get that vibe. The soups all taste fresh and delicious. All entrees are hot and plentiful. The prices are fair as well. There is a $10 minimum for credit cards, but it is easy to go over that amount with just a soup and entree. Since they only deliver to Old Bridge, I will have to go and pick up their food. That is not a problem when the food tastes good, as it makes the trip worth it, even when the weather is not the best. What a way to ring in the new year, right? read more

This is my favorite Chinese food place in town. The food here is always consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. The family is very friendly and if you're ever looking to try something new, don't hesitate to ask about things on the menu, they're really great about explaining flavors, and what dishes are made up of. Our normal go to's are Fried Dumplings (well done for a little extra crisp), general Tso's chicken (FYI, it's all white meat!) and Cashew Chicken. I was not crazy about their chicken and broccoli but the cashew chicken was way better then I even wanted the chicken and broccoli to be. Everytime I get this I just ramble on how no one rates Chinese food places on here. Best around and a hidden gem. Pork always delicious, solid general Tao's chicken, soups, apps. Just well done food. Service is great and even with the prices jumping a bit still feel money well spent. Think I've tried it all. Pro tip: get a side of garlic sauce. Ordered takeout from here last night. Hot and sour soup and chicken with mixed vegetables. Both were amazing! The chicken was sliced nice and thin and super tender and tasted very fresh. No hint of that leftover chicken taste whatsoever. The hot and sour soup ranked up there with the best I've ever had. This is definitely my favorite Chinese food in the area, it's worth the 10 minute drive or so to pick it up. This is the best place around for Chinese Food Delivery. It comes to you very quickly. They will also adjust to dietary requirements like less salt or oil. We love the General Tso's Chicken, Steamed Pork Dumplings, Wonton Soup, Chicken Chow Mein, Roast Pork Lo Mein, Boneless Spare Ribs, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Pepper Steak, Cashew Chicken, Beef with String Bean and all the Mei Funs. Never again! This was the most tasteless Chinese food I've ever had. Vegetable dumplings, pork egg too young, and chicken Pad Thai was so lackluster. Vegetable fried rice was decent. I was pretty pumped becuase all the reviews of this place were top notch, but wasn't really blown away here. The crab rangoon and dumplings were perfect- good fry on the rangood and the dumplings had a thin wrapper with a super tasty filling. However, the sauce for the dumplings was oddly sweet and had another flavor we couldn't place that was not good at all. Scallion pancakes were nice and thin, lots of scallions, but again- same gross sauce. My egg roll was all cabbage and oddly tight, so I didn't love that, even though I know these aren't made in house and just thrown in the fryer from the frozen box it comes in. The bone in ribs were over cooked and terrible. Skip those. For main dish we did mongolian beef and general tsaos. The Mongolian beef had carrots in it, which I've never seen and didn't love, but the spice level was good. The general tsaos tasted ok, and they advertise all white meat and deliver, but I would have liked the pieces a bit crunchier. So yea, overall- totally acceptable, but nothing mind blowing. Great spot it's for the most part some of the best Chinese I've had in this area. I don't know why good Chinese food is so difficult to find in central NJ. It's weird. I'm not even sure why that is. We had stop going as the food went down under previous owner, but now under NEW management, so much better and so close to us.
