Found this little nook while looking up brunch places in the area. Met up with my sisters and mom for a quick bite. It is a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and cute simple decor that has a communal feel. The specials menu had some fun and exciting choices for st Patrick's day! There was also a listing for blueberry pierogies which we decided we just had to try. I think the concept is exciting and new- but the inside of the pierogies were only blueberries which weren't very sweet. We thought it could be even better with the addition of a sweetened ricotta, cream cheese, or mascarpone inside to compliment the berries. There was a drizzle of some kind of icing which was tasty and went well but there wasn't enough of it. We ordered our meals from their regular menu. They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference. I probably wouldn't get the omelet again because it was kind of a lot happening at once, however, next time I go I think I definitely would like to get the pierogi platter they offer because I enjoyed the kielbasa and pierogies so much. My sister got a strawberry arugula salad with crispy chicken. I did not try it but I tried a piece of chicken and it was deliciously crisp. She said everything was really good and the strawberries were perfect and ripe. My mom, who got the protein pancake with fruit on side agreed. My other sister got a tuna wrap which she also enjoyed. I also like that they do a 1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade with your choice of flavor. I got the raspberry and it was delicious - not too sweet but the flavor was there. The menu has a nice variety of options, and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a light lunch, they've got something for you. I migrated to their "Eastern European" menu for a little more sophistication, and glad I did. I chose steak and onions over potato pancake; essentially a cheesesteak without the bread. Trendy breakfast/ brunch spot! Came here on a Sunday and the place was busy- 30 min wait minimum (which is always a good sign even if you have to wait). We were able to snag a seat at the bar to get seated right away. The menu is very expansive and has something for everyone-- we also liked that it had some unique options, including pierogis. Since it was our first time there, we decided to go with the breakfast sampler to share and get a taste of both the sweet and savory dishes. Went here for brunch the other day and the food was just ok. It wasn't the most flavorful meal. Service was good- very attentive. The place needs a good cleaning, the fake ivy hanging everywhere is covered in dust and the bathroom was gross. Dirt and even a dead bug behind the toilet and on the side of the table. Cozy serves up tasty comfort food at a great price similar to how Comfi was. The menu has a lot of the same delicious brunch items we are used to - the salmon nova eggs benedict with potato pancakes being a notable exception. Maybe it's nostalgia but the service hasn't been quite as friendly as we remember when it used to be Comfi. Also, the kielbasa and potatoes have been more often burned since the name change. This happens even after we mention it when ordering for them to try not to take more care not to burn it. It's still a great place to have brunch and the long lines and waits attest to that. read more

Ordered "Not Your Nana's Crepes (3)" with the following description: "Homemade crepes stuffed with fresh marscarpone and fresh strawberries. Topped with sweet cream and powdered sugar." I placed the order through Doordash via mobile instead of calling Cozy directly. The order was a pickup and not a delivery. The drive to Cozy one way is about 15 minutes. The staff was nice enough and pickup process & checkout was quick. However, when I got home, the crepes was stuffed with bananas instead of strawberries, and chocolate instead of mascarpone. I immediately called Cozy's to let them know about the mistake. Their reply was they can make another order (which means I have to drive back to them again). I said, no thanks, I'm not driving back there. I rather would just get refunded. However, they can't refund me the order because the order was made via Doordash. So now I have to call Doordash and rectify it through them. Doordash was quick enough in giving me back the refund. I was happy with the refund process with Doordash. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in how Cozy handled the incorrect order. The lady who I spoke to did apologize and let the cook know about the mistake. I just wished they could have refunded it themselves or maybe offered a coupon or something for the inconvenience. read more

The entrees came with huge portions and home fries so you can easily share with 2 people. For my entree, I liked the biscuits and gravy but didn't love it - biscuits were not as fluffy and the sausage patty sandwiched in the middle could have been a little less dry. 3.5-4. The rebooted "Comfi" cafe works the same formula as its predecessor and, other than a newly painted front waiting area, looks exactly like it's predecessor. Our party had the eggs Benedict with crab cake. Good flavor, on the hollandaise but lacked seasoning on the home fries, and the egg was overcooked. Also ordered the New York steak sandwich, that also apparently lacked seasoning, but was tasty. I had the angry bird chicken sandwich. Very tasty, kicked off by a hot honey coating. Shared by the table, we're the disco tots. Tater tots covered in gravy and cheese, how could you not win? While our meals weren't a total home run, as per Comfis standard, the wait staff were all friendly and attentive, no complaints. Very smart strategy by the new owners to keep to a winning formula. I've been trying to find a nice cafe and I've decided to try cozy cafe also I've been wanting to try potato pancakes and I hear there great here. My girlfriend and I got seated fairly quickly service which was nice & staff is very attentive. Server explained the difference between regular pancakes & potato pancake's so far so good ambiance is good it's a lil loud but that's not an issue music is nice as well Food was good I would come again But I do feed like they forgot about us towards middle & end of our experience but overall I recommend this cafe if your in the area. read more

I ordered a salad but had to used my hands to eat it cause according to the person at Cozy, I have to indicate in the instructions to put utensils. I was not home and did not have access to utensils. I was told by said person that Doordash requires this in the instructions. Mind you, I never ever had this issue before. It's Cozy's policy. Not Doordash.
