Today we came here after our daughter's graduation from preschool to let her pick out a pastry for herself. This spot is great to try out new things that you otherwise wouldn't have tried. I had a croissant a few months ago that usually is a mini croissant filled with some type of lemon custard cream with strawberries on it. It's usually in the display with the savory foods (sandwiches etc). Whatever that lemon custard cream is that they use in those is so good but those croissants are so small. I asked someone at the front if they could help me with finding something else that uses the same lemon custard and she showed me a few options. So happy I picked that purple donut pictured, it was so delicious. I highly recommend anything with that lemon custard in it. It reminds me of this lemon cream cheese icing my mother used to make for lemon cake and it is so good, but this was 10x better. All of the fruit on the pastries is always perfect. The best strawberry and blueberry quality and ripeness you could ask for (not tart at all). The employees are super kind, I feel like I'm always super self conscious going here because we always decide last second before I get ready for the day and I'm always ready to be judged by everyone I encounter for how I look , but everyone has always been super sweet here and always interacts with our daughter as well and makes it a fun experience for her. So refreshing to encounter kind people in NJ. As for everything else, I'm more of an espresso/super strong coffee person, and I usually prefer getting coffee across the parking lot at Gregory's and then eating Paris baguette's pastries with it. Paris baguette's coffee is maybe like a 7 in my personal opinion. Still an amazing spot though. I understand that it can be difficult for employees to constantly clean up after customers, especially during busy periods, but it was clear that the dining area had not been attended to for some time. When I went to select some desserts, I had to ask an employee where the trays were located. I was told that the trays were being cleaned and that customers could use the pastry boxes instead. As I browsed the display cases, I also noticed that the dessert selection was fairly limited compared to other Paris Baguette locations I have visited. Despite the limited choices, I found two desserts to try, and we also ordered a hot coffee and a Korean iced milk coffee. The desserts were delicious and lived up to expectations. Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. Both drinks lacked the richness and strength I was hoping for, and the coffee tasted surprisingly weak. Overall, my experience was just okay. The pastries were enjoyable, but the cleanliness, limited selection, and disappointing coffee left me underwhelmed. I would not go out of my way to return to this location, although I would certainly visit other Paris Baguette locations in the future.

Being a Jersey Girl means having a lot of points a Playa, so I felt right at home. I was excited to try their matcha bowl, it is different than my usual go to order but 1000% worth the try. And of course, I couldn't leave without getting a green juice. This Playa location had ample space for seating as well as the fireplace. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and even offered recommendations for what to match with the matcha bowl. On 11/26/2022, the cheese danish was listed $3.45/pc through display window, however, it was charged $3.65/pc. And when I called out the discrepancy, cashier said the difference was the tax (she apparently was not looking at her screen, because it clearly said item $3.65, tax $0.00) Therefore I wasn't satisfied or convinced with her answer. I pointed out to her, that banana loaf or pumpkin bread is $3.65/pc, but cheese danish is $3.45/pc. Instead of servicing customers and compensate customer the difference, and fix the technical issue after (either update computer to sync with price tag, or correct the price tag in the display window to avoid further issue), the cashier said there's nothing she can do, whatever it's in the computer it's whatever charged. *It seems there's no station manager in the store, or higher management, to take care of service issue. 2. The cheese danish was ordered warmed up, but when I open the paper bag, the cheese top was dirty (seemed like the warmed up machine needed to be cleaned) because I would hate to believe it was dirty before it was delivered to the location when it's still in the plastic bag. 3.
