This is a great cafe if you like specialty flavored lattes, plan to stay for some remote work and you're not looking for a full meal. That happened to be the exact criteria of our hunt for a coffee shop while in the area, so it was a perfect visit. On a very quiet street with lots of parking, this was a perfect find so thank you for leading us here Yelp!! If anyone needs tips my search is "cafe with wifi" and it never leads me astray. All the good: -So many tables! I am sure this place fills up on the weekends but on a wednesday afternoon we had our pick of the place. Perfect for groups with the couches and 4 tops. Great for duos, and even the lone remote employee with a counter by the window with seats. -Great specialty coffee menu. On the second day of fall, all I wanted was a pumpkin dirty chai and it was delicious. -A few lite bites. I got the empanada because I was pretty hungry and needed a snack. It was okay, but I wouldn't come here for the food specifically. -Very friendly baristas and team behind the counter. A great find that I believe is behind hamilatte in Hamilton (at least they have the same cups and same vibe of the place). read more

They have so many latte options, and the baristas are always friendly and make your drink exactly how you ask for it, which I definitely appreciate. Beyond the coffee, their food menu is solid too. I walked in and its a large cute cozy cafe style shop. There is a plethora of tables, some couches in the back with a coffee table. They have some bakery items and desserts and a fall menu on the wall to your right. The barista was friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Maple Marshmallow Latte with a butter croissant. The latte is a 9/10, a smooth maple taste that reminds of you of autumn. The croissant was not my favorite. It was hard and chewy and as it cooled it got crunchy and harder. came here with my friend, and unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. The guy at the register was not polite at all. He didn't greet us, showed no hospitality, and came across as very rude from the moment we walked in. I ordered the pancakes, and they were overcooked, hard, and honestly awful. My friend ordered an apple fritter, and it was very doughy and seemed undercooked in the middle. After taking a few bites, I asked for a refund because my pancakes were inedible. Instead of responding, the employee completely ignored me and continued doing what he was doing. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, and when we left, he didn't even say "have a nice day" or thank us for coming. The combination of poor food and terrible customer service made this a very disappointing visit. I won't be returning. read more

Since opening, Jamesbrew has won over the locals in town! There is always a friendly face waiting for you at the counter, and to your right you'll find their detailed menu with specials and coffee galore! Not only do they have coffee, different specialty drinks, they also have desserts daily. I enjoy trying their different flavored lattes, especially the seasonal flavors, and the iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte was tasty. I'm not the most knowledgeable on coffee but these lattes are surely made with love! Jamesbrew is very spacious and has a lot of seating inside: tables, stools, and even couches with a coffee table. They have board games that you are welcome to play, and there is always a good music selection playing. Great place to grab coffee, catch up with a friend, or even come to get some work done. A complete and utter surprise stumbling by accident into this place late one evening. A warm, welcoming and inviting coffee spot, that feels like home without being home. Nice couches, warm colors, holiday decorations (we were there in January), and even some games if you'd like to partake in dominos or checkers. A guitar player wrapped it up in a nice atmosphere bow by singing some eighties classics. Unfortunately, the only problem was the coffee itself. Cappuccino barely had any foam and was mostly coffee, rather than espresso and milk. Perhaps a little more training is needed, but nothing that can't be fixed. We cannot stop coming here for the iced pistachio lattes! They're so perfect that we don't try anything else, but after a quick drop in yesterday I did notice that they're now starting coffee flights! Definitely looking forward to trying that when we have more time to sit back and enjoy their cafe. Jamesbrew is easily our favorite place to stop in for a midday pick me up. Visited this place for the first time. I would say it's a nice spot to catch up with friends. My friend and I shared a carrot cake, which was yummy. I ordered the coffee flight because there were a bunch of yummy sounding flavors. The concept is amazing, but I'll have to say that the ratio was off because most of them were too sweet to the point where I felt gross later. It feels like they didn't proportion it quite right for the smaller glasses for the flight if that makes sense. Very cute coffee shop with larger than expected interior. I tried their cold brew and hot latte. Their drip coffee is about half the price of their espresso drinks and cold brews. The coffee bean they used for the latte was unique and had a slight caramel flavor to it. Their pastries looked freshly baked but I did not try any. They also serve gelato! read more

I was glad to see another coffee shop popping up nearby! The vibe is quite nice--enough seating and enough variation in the types of seating that you can choose the counter by the window, a table, or the couches, which is nice. I don't believe they usually have mugs but the barista kindly found one for me as I like having a mug when I'm enjoying my coffee to stay. The latte was okay--it was foamed nicely but they don't use barista almond milk so it wasn't creamy enough. I looked at some of the pastries but they seemed a little wholesaley? It is very spacious, so it's a good place to set up and work on a laptop. The valvetine latte (special) was amazing. Unlike other strawberry flavorings, it didn't taste artificial at all and was very pleasant. The apple fritter was delightful.
