Love the aesthetic here. Ordered the dirty chai tea. Delicious. Would definitely recommend. Great addition to downtown Matawan.

REALLY nice place. Great food and lots of choices (the guava croissant was Heaven...so much so that I got another to go). Reasonable price point. And the bathroom was immaculate. BUT no service with a smile, my decaf tea wasn't available so I had to get something else, AND because I was solo, I wasn't allowed to sit on the cushy leather sofa.

    Cappuccino

The cappuccino was good and the service was good. It had a nice vibe inside. I would definitely go back.

Adorably decorated with exposed brick and quirky art. It was very busy on a Sunday morning. We had a classic cappuccino and latte which were both well done. We also had the Serrano and berry toast, burrata and tomato toast, and almond croissant. Each was chef's kiss. The croissant was light and flaky and crunchy. The berry and Serrano toast was on an English muffin and the mint on top was surprisingly perfect. The burrata toast was on a grainy bread and was simply tasty! Service was excellent and staff was friendly. Will be back.

I decided to wake up this morning and take a 45-minute drive to this café that I came across on Instagram last week. I must say, it was absolutely worth the trip. I was very pleased with the place. The vibes and overall atmosphere were very pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer a great variety of sandwiches and toasts. We tried the egg and avocado toast as well as the brie, apple, and prosciutto sandwich, both were amazing and beautifully presented. I also ordered a cappuccino, and it was made exactly the way I like it.On the way out, I grabbed a café con leche for the road. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Picked up a coffee here right around closing time. Very cute little cafe that doesn't charge for alternative milk. They had quite an extensive food menu too, I'm going to be back for more.

This was my first time trying Candelaria Espresso Bar, I had placed my order for pick up. For starters, it was ready when it said it would be. The ECEC special was great - for $12.50 though a bit of a stretch. The croissant I had toasted and that too was great and warm. The coffee was wonderful, overall everything was fresh, I'd definitely come back to try more!

My friend and I last minute decided to grab coffee locally and found this spot on here to check out. The coffee shop has such a cozy vibe, warm and inviting. We went in the middle of the week and was surprised many tables and chairs were occupied - which is a great thing! My friend and I didn't have any food but from looking at the menu they all sounds delicious. The coffee we ordered were very good. I loved the latter art and the cups they serve it on. Overall, if you're looking for a cozy spot to hang out in, have meetings, or even read a book, check out this local spot and definitely support this little gem!

Delightful! Can't believe I've never tried this place. Beautifully decorated, the coffee is delicious and so is the food. Great place to work or hangout.

Okay I'm about to put you all on this is literally my favorite café in Monmouth County. The people here are amazing. The coffee and food is indescribable the burrata toast is amazing the ruby, turkey is amazing and their specials are always the best. They're iced shaken Cortado signature drink, you could never go wrong with it. This place literally feels like home.

What's not to love about Candelaria?? Though the cafe was bustling with customers, it still had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was incredible, and I had one the best lattes I've had in a while! If you live in the Matawan or Old Bridge area, this place is an absolute must.

This place was so cool! I ordered a cafe con leche with a little liquid sugar. However my friend ordered a coffee with milk and they didn't put milk in hers . She was afraid to have her order corrected but luckily they had a station where could add milk. I'm not sure if that's why they didn't add milk to hers.

Very pretty spot friendly, clean, cute plants, nice & relax music and overall very cozy & positive atmosphere.

Super kind staff. Relaxing space. Cinnamon scone is lovely. Drip coffee is robust. Gets crowded mid morning.

They have a legendary deli counter loaded with subs, wraps, cheeses, soups, sauces, and their famous fresh-baked bread. The butcher counter is top-notch -- and you've got to try the chicken cutlets, they're some of the best around. Their fresh mozzarella is made daily, and the baked goods (bread, pastries, cookies) are always fresh and impossible to resist. They even have a well-stocked pantry section with all the Italian essentials -- from jars of their own house-made sauce to Antonio's pasta and more. You can even grab Nasto's ice cream for dessert! One of my favorite things about DeMARCO'S is their family dinners, which feed 4-6 people and make weeknights so much easier. I tried the Sunday Sauce Family Dinner and it absolutely did not disappoint -- hearty, homemade, and full of that comforting Italian flavor. From the culinary minds behind Heirloom Kitchen, Lita, and Judy & Harry's, this unassuming spot offers a highbrow take on sandwich classics like the Tuna Melt, Meatball Parm, and Italian Beef. In addition to their standard menu, Abramzon and David regularly feature rotating specials and pop-ups from notable chefs. This review is about one of those. After an hour-long wait, I finally got my hands on Nini Nguyen's chicken bánh mì. With bread flown in from New Orleans' famed Dong Phuong bakery--crackly on the outside, pillowy on the inside--plus lemongrass-marinated chicken, crisp pickled veggies, mayo, and a hit of sambal, one bite instantly transported me back to my twenty-something expat days in Hanoi. Yes, it was $18, but for a sandwich that evoked that kind of nostalgia and flavor, it was worth every penny. To wash it down, I grabbed a glass of their iced Banana Bread Chai. If banana bread were a drink, this would be it; comforting, spiced, and borderline addictive. At $6 a glass, falling for their coffee program could become a dangerously delicious habit. Sure, this isn't your everyday lunch spot, but it's good to know that when the craving hits, I can swing by, splurge a little, and let my taste buds take a little vacation.

Bacon was in bits instead of slices. Way too much sauce between the ranch and the Chipotle marinade. Chicken didn't seem seasoned. With that being said.
