This is now one of my favorite panda express. Love the fresh foods and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Pretty basic food but always consistent. However the reason why I rated this one star out of five is solely because of service. When it was my turn to order the Panda Express employee, Jaime completely ignored me and talked to another co-worker. Then while ordering I was interrupted several times by another staff member. While paying, Jaime continued to be rude, as well as messing up our order. Not to mention all of the fellow staff members were obnoxiously loud. Worst Panda Express Ive ever been to. Horrible Customer Service. Try coming here about 830 and see the attitude and evil stares given by the staff. For the price Panda charges, each customer should get a hot, quality meal with no bs. This is why we come here right? Americans need to stop handing money to corporations who underpay their workers but at the same time rake in millions of dollars to make the executives rich. This is "part"of the reason these workers are rude and unkind. Who would be happy to smell chinese food all day, and then on top of it walk around broke? If they were paid more they would work twice as hard and have a better attitude. I paid a $1.25 extra for the shanghi beef and when I got home I had to throw away half the beef because of mostly fat and gristle, The price is already high enough besides paying an extra $1.25, I will not order this again. read more

I agree with the mixed reviews on PE. We have eaten at a few of these places now and we would safely say that it's simply fast food masquerading as a trendy, glitzy restaurant trying to pull itself as off some deep rooted ethnic food place. I guess the word "express" in the name should clue people in, that this is basically just a FAST FOOD CHINESE place! Duh! So here are some thoughts about the experience: 1) there is nothing special about the food, it's ok & somewhat flavorful but all the dishes lacked something...it wasn't the worst we've ever had but it wasn't the best either! 2) they use a lot of spice/heat of chili's to cover up lack of depth of flavor (great Chinese food lets the ingredients "shine", not hide behind the flash heat of peppers! Don't get me wrong I like spicy dishes, just not ones that take over the main ingredient(s), 3) the food seemed right at the edge of being overcooked, & portions are small. 4) the dining/ordering area is WAY too small for the volume of business this place seems to draw since it's "new" and there is a def. draw from the community on trying it out. 5) this strip mall is WAAAAAY to heavy on "major" retailers. Parking sucks, the lot is too small and it's dangerous i.e. = the fed-ex & delivery trucks/vans park on the street blocking the view of oncoming cars on busy street, Starbucks is always a big draw & their drive-thru is always backed up, chipotle & a $Dollar Tree store(s) are also busy). 6) the ordering/dining room are extremely neat and tidy so that's a plus, but, 7) the ordering/serve process is odd, i.e. the lady took my order, (and was pleasant) but then bagged my order, then promptly left me (w/out a word) to help another (???) forcing the other server ringing up her own customer order to then ring me up, despite the 2nd register station. Does this mean they have one server and one cashier for weekday lunch hours(???). Odd! 8) lunch was EXTREMELY expensive for "fast food" Chinese food: 2 items (max. 2 tablespoons each) and rice (filler rice to make it look like a lot) and NO DRINK (not even tea like traditional Chinese rest,) and a crab Rangoon was $11. One can go to a sit down rest. w/ a waitress and get a "lunch special" with a drink, soup, appetizer, entrée and rice/show mein for under $10 at any given Chinese place. 9) in the ordering area they had a video screen "explaining" the roots of the PE & growth over the years. Wow! Not sure if they're trying to show how "rooted" they are in the community or how they should be praised for they're so-called humble beginnings or if they're trying to convince you how great their mediocre food tastes! Better off just showing the news or nice Chinese tourist-style pictures of awesome scenery. 10) Our conclusion is this: Prices are not low enough or food good enough to merit any type of word of mouth "ya' gotta' try this place" reviews, & we'd suggest to anyone to eat at practically any other Chinese place if possible (see Yelp reviews for suggestions) and finally if it's a choice between fast food burgers and here, of course we'd eat here, because it's probably a healthier option (have not compared calories though, just on the visual assumption of menu choices of more veggies and "fresh" food ingredients), Sorry PE, there just weren't enough positives to make me love ya'! ;-( read more

The orange chicken has been consistently too crunchy and tough and bland in flavor. The chow mein and rice have been dry as if they sit under the heat lamps too much.The monument location is way better. Also, Ashley was rude and unpleasant. This Panda Express is the worst and that's saying alot for a place that is super cheap ingredient chinese food. Walked in at about 730 well after the dinner hours and they were out of orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, chicken egg rolls and after I got mine they ran out of chow mein. Poorest management I've ever seen and they weren't even busy. Telling customers it would be 15-20 min or more to get your food is ridiculous for a quick service restaurant read more

Can we say "Health Code Violations?" The line needs better management. Five o'clock on a Friday night and the same person handling the food is also handling the cash register with no hand washing!! The line was long, so no excuse for a one-person show. I've seen this on more than one occasion. Other cons: --Not enough food handlers. --Food handlers call back to the kitchen for new food orders in voices that are barely audible 2 feet away. This is no doubt why the food selection is often depleted. ---If a dish is out or being prepared, then your plate is set aside and you must hope they fill it first before filling new orders and then running out again. If they do fill it, they sometimes forget to let you know it's ready. I've learned to just select an alternate dish and not wait. --The parking lot is dangerous. --Restaurant is very small and cramped. There is no where for the line to go, and inside tables mean eating with someone's fanny in your face as they wait in line to place their order. Pros: The food is good. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is good. read more

We have been going here for about 3 years now, but will not continue. We've found that steadily the portion sizes are dropping (to the point that they will take off of your plate if they see it's a tad too much!) The quality of the food has dropped as well as the customer service! read more

I went in and ordered food today around 4pm. I was very disappointed when I got home and found out one of my items was not in my bags. I called a few hours later and spoke to Kendra who was very nice and told me I could come in anytime and pick up the missing item. I live 15 minutes away, so I was not happy about going back out. I walked in around 8:30pm to a young lady with an extremely bad attitude. I gave her my name and told her what I was missing. Kendra had written a note and left it by the register. She puts my missing item in a small container. I told her I had a Panda Feast item so it should be a large. Well, there wasn't enough to make a large. She was not happy about that, she seemed to not be happy about anything. She asked me if I wanted something else to top it off. I told her no. I then asked how long it would be before a fresh dish would be ready. She asked the cook and he said 4-5 minutes, so I said I would wait. Clearly this young lady was not having a good day. I asked for a cup for water she handed it to me and did not look my way. After waiting for several minutes, I noticed that the cook was cooking a different dish. So, I walked over to the end of counter to find my dish was ready. I had to ask another young lady to please give me my order. The bad attitude young lady finally gave me my order. She put it a bag and did not acknowledge me or look my way. She handed it to me to the side and looked the other way, as if she was perturbed with me. So, let me see if I have it right. You guys screw my order up and when I come to pick it up now I have to deal with a person with an extremely bad attitude. You have got to be kidding me! I called back and spoke to Kendra who was the manager. She was very nice, said she understood the bad service I received and would address the issue. Tonight's food was just any good and that's being kinda generous. They had run out of several items and there was NO ONE cooking anything to replenish the cooked food. The girls serving the food on the line are doing there best to get food out, but the cooks aren't cooking anything until they are completely out of everything and by then it's a 10-15 minute wait until it's ready. The food they did have ready wasnt anything special. The beef & broccoli and chow main my husband ate wasn't any good, either was the fresh chicken & egg rolls that I ate. The only think that was ok, was the orange chicken and that comes pre-bread & all they have to do it deep fry it & pour some sauce over it. So it boils down to the cooks not cooperating with the severs to cook the food that is needed. This is the second visit we have expierence this & we will not be back again to this location. Other locations we have visited have had both good food & service. read more

Food is hit or miss with the standard, but overall forgivable when it isn't right. The 2 stars are purely for customer service, it feels like there's absolutely zero training on how to great guests. Been here many times and every time it's the exact same experience with different employees: they wait for me to tell them what I want at the beginning of the line and they ignore me when I walk up to the register for something that I can skip the line for (ex: drink). You literally have to be as patient as possible and hope that they will acknowledge you when they notice you, but most of the time they won't. I've had employees make eye contact with me and when I go to ask for something they'll walk away. It's horrible every time and frustrating to the point where I expect to have a bad experience every time I walk in. read more

I love Panda Express but this one happened to be the worst one I've been to. The food was great but this one worker was so rude. A lady who works there was extremely rude & gave attitude just because she did not want to work that day so she decided to bring her anger out on the workers. She forgot one of our on trays & when I asked her for it she got all mad at us. The cashier apologized for her fellow workers behavior & gave me a discount. I can't believe how spaced out and unaware these employees are. We were eating outside, took about 5 bites of two full combos. My father and I walked inside to go buy drinks and we were in lnside for about 2 min. We come back outside and they picked up and threw all of our food away! We go inside to tell them and they looked at us with blank stares and told us there was nothing they could do for us? I thought they were joking it was so rediculous. Your employee throws away 20 bucks worth of our food right after we got it and it's our fault??? Never going back to this place again. Horrible horrible service. read more
