I had a terrible experience at this Taco Bell. We placed our order online ahead of time to make things easier, but when we arrived, we were told that only one order was allowed per car. There was absolutely nobody behind us in line, so the rule made no sense and felt completely unnecessary. What made the situation even worse was how rude the employees were. Instead of politely explaining the policy or trying to help us find a solution, they were dismissive and acted like we were inconveniencing them. Customer service was practically nonexistent. If you're going to enforce strange policies, at least treat customers with basic respect. I was told to never return. At 4:21 on the 15th of December I placed an order through the taco bell app. At 1130 Arnold Dr., Martinez, CA 94553. Ordered 2 spicy potatoe tacos. Went in and stood at the counter. 3 minutes later someone offered to help me and I stated I had a mobile order and gave my name. They said they are working on it. 2 minutes later I took out my phone and took 2 photos. An employee came up to me and said " did you take my photo? I don't want my photo taken I'm gonna call the police. I said go ahead and call the police and at that time another person came up and they started talking Spanish to each other. That person then asked me what I'm doing and I explained that I do Google reviews and I take pictures for the review but didn't take his photo. I then said if he wants the police let's call them..the guy walked into his office and picked up the phone and the employee who wanted the police was there in front of me so I dialed 911. 911 Operator told me to go outside and wait for the police. Up to that point they never finished my order and several cars came and went and they gave an order to another person in there. I went outside until the officers arrived and told them the same story. They asked me what I wanted and I said a refund since i never got my food and the managers name. Cop went in and then out and said you can have your food or a refund and you are banned from ever coming back. I drove up to the order machine and said, "I want a number 5 with a doctor pepper and that's it". I drove up to the drive thru and the guys said, "you can't order at the window". I said I ordered at the machine . He said, yeah you ordered a number 5 then just drove off. ". I said no I ordered a number 5 and said that's it and now I'm here. He said I can't do that and refused to give me my order. I parked, came inside, stood at the counter and said I'd like to file a complaint, no one would talk to me and he refused to give me his name. I went to take a picture of the guy so I could include it in my complaint and he stepped out and took a picture of me. So he now has a picture of me giving him a thumbs up. I buy food there once a week in that same way and have never had a problem. If there was a way to do 0/5 stars I would. Every time I'm here no matter how big or how small of an order I make at the drive thru they ask me to park and wait out front for my order. It doesn't matter if there's a line or no one in line, they always ask me to park out front every single time and I have to wait 5-15 minutes for my food to come out. Then once my food gets to me majority of the time at least one item is missing. There has been multiple times they have given me the complete wrong order. There was also a time I waited 15 minutes in my car and I had to go inside to ask for my order, it turns out they completely forgot about my order and me waiting outside. The Manager here is super rude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went in the drive thru. They have this new robot voice taking orders on the speaker, and the robot voice messed up and added/doubled more meals than what we wanted. When we drove up to the window to pay we were trying to tell the lady at the window that their robot voice added 2 extra meals that we never asked for/wanted and asked if she could take them off the order... And in the middle of asking her to take off the two extra meals, the manager all of a sudden rushes and barges up to the window with ALOT of attitude and VERY rudely tells us "Next time ask for a team member. We have to make these meals..." and said some other complaining stuff to us. He pretty much shamed us and made us feel like he was being bothered. The robot voice never said to speak with a team member so how are we supposed to know this??? And it's not our fault that the robot voice added 2 extra meals that we never asked for or wanted. We were so offended with how the manager treated us and asked the manager for his name to so we can file a complaint but he refused to give it to us. I've never encountered SUCH RUDE STAFF BEFORE! If I could give 0 stars, I DEFINITELY WOULD! I made a mobile app order yesterday for potato tacos and a potato burrito (due to dietary restrictions, I can't have anything else). I went during my limited lunch break to pickup the order that was CONFIRMED BY THE STORE, AND PAID FOR ON THE APP. Of course, the orders were so delayed and other customers were complaining that they had to wait over 25 minutes for two tacos that were ordered ahead of time on the app. Anyway, I go to the front counter to ask for my order, multiple staff members pass by me and completely ignore me. After FINALLY being answered, I said that I am here to pickup a mobile order. The employee who answered me VERY RUDELY started to ONLY WORK ON MY ORDER WHEN I HAD ASKED FOR IT! A few minutes later he comes back and says they're out of potatoes and if I'd like anything else, so I said no I can't and I'd like a refund. He REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND, and told me to contact the Taco Bell customer support (who never respond btw). ALL OF THIS IN THE RUDEST MANNER EVER! So I sit down, trying to figure out how can I get my refund, then a few minutes later he calls my name and says he made a mistake and that turns out, they have potatoes. He asked if I'd still like the order, so I said yes whatever is faster. So he said don't submit a survey on the app. I said no, I will submit a survey on the app for such terrible service (since he has been rude all along), and it is MY RIGHT TO SHARE MY FEEDBACK. I asked for the manager and this rude guy CLAIMED TO BE THE MANAGER!!!!!!!!! All the staff ignored me, no one would help, I have not gotten the order I paid for, AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. This taco bell is very run of the mill. I've had both great and bad experiences. Tonight was definitely on the better end of the curve. I've done drive through, mobile order and in person order through the kiosk. All the options have had either good or bad experiences, I honestly think it depends on who's working. The Mexican pizza tonight was on point! Both layers were perfectly crispy so actually cut with the provided plastic fork (shockingly provided through drive through when not always provided with inside pick ups.) The crunchy tacos were properly swapped out for soft taco Supremes as well. No line either for once at drive through which was a major bonus as I debated ordering ahead through app before I left my house which is my usual method. When orders are wrong and you don't realize until you get home have been prompt handled by customer service. No heavy complaints this far! read more

Unapologetically slow. Insanely slow. No explanation when you ask why you had to wait 26 minutes trapped in the drive thru line despite only having 3 cars ahead of you. The late night shift might as well be wearing blindfolds with the lights turned off, it wouldn't make them any slower. I would normally give Taco Bell a 3, but not this location. When I go here it's usually always what I ask for. Don't have any complaints just updating my review for my recent visit . Just looked at my receipt and it's torn at the bottom and I thought that was the most random thing I've ever seen LOL. I wonder why ? They also discontinued my Mexican pizza !! Ugh so sad ! I hate this place. Ordering ahead on the app is the worst. It's pointless as it takes more time than it would going to the drive-thru or ordering at the kiosk. I want to order ahead so that my food would be ready to be picked up. I think it's the whole point for the process, right?! As soon as I order, the app tells me almost right away that my order is being prepared. That's actually progress compared to before where it would still only say that the order was received. But don't worry, Taco Bell will still let me down somehow. And sure enough they do. So it takes me 13 mins after I order to get to the restaurant. I then have to tell staff the name of the order. And even then it still takes an additional 6 mins for the food to actually be made (a lot longer than a drive thru order). I double check my items because you never know what might be wrong or missing. (By the way, I still haven't been contacted or compensated for a missing item from my last visit.) The order count looked okay, but I then come home to discover that incorrect sauces were provided to me. Again, why order through the app if TB can't even get my sauces right!?! Not a huge Taco Bell fan but sometimes I crave the crunchy taco and mild sauce every once in awhile. The location is off a narrow 2 lane road and the entrance can be easily missed so make sure you drive slow when you approach it. I usually go to this location around lunch time between 12:00pm-1:00pm on a weekday. Expect long lines in the drive thru. Today, I waited 30 minutes in line. The staff working that shift was friendly and practiced Covid-19 safety protocols. The employee at the drive-thru greeted me and was very careful when he handed my change and food. I ordered 2 crunch tacos and a chalupa which totaled to almost $8. I could've bought a whole meal for cheaper but now I know next time. My recommendation: Chalupa and the cinnamon twists. 3 stars for the service, employees wearing their masks correctly, and for getting my order correct. I took away 2 stars because they got rid of the Mexican pizza and Apple empanadas. read more

It's just a regular Taco Bell/standard menu. I've never been inside, just through the drive through a few times over the past year. No complaints about the food or service. Everyone's been nice and professional. Parking looks decent and the grounds are very clean and well-maintained. I'm only marking it down a star because unless you know it's here, it's hard to find since it's so difficult to see from the road. It's a bit hidden by the terrain, coloring, and lack of signage until you actually pull in. Even using Google maps/directions, I missed it the first couple of times. Maybe a large sign closer to the entrance would bring in more business since there is a large shopping area and a freeway exit somewhat nearby. read more

I went to this Taco Bell on 3-2-25 at about 130P which is located at 1130 Arnold Drive Martinez CA. I ordered two meals and side through the Drive Through AI system. The order appeared right and then for some reason it appeared to add another order to the screen and then went off. I got to the window to get my order and told my concern to the lady collecting the money. I informed the lady that it looked like something was added to my order by mistake before the screen went down. I had to explain the issue several times because she didn't seem to understand what I was saying. Then a male came over to the window and chewed me out saying why didn't you tell us prior because they already made up the order. He was rude, and all he had to do was remove the item which I did not order. I asked to speak with the manager and I was told he was the Manager. I asked for his name several times, and he refused to give it to me and walked away. The lady at the window refused to give me his name as well, and when I asked what her name was she told me Karen and smiled. ? The Receipt I was given had the name Jose on it. I ordered three chicken tacos with just cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, and a Pepsi. I don't think that's a hard order. I got three tacos with beef, with chicken added, which they charged me more for, and lettuce. The Pepsi was a diet. They literally couldn't have screwed up the order more.
