Ordered thru the app and drove to the Chik-fil-a here in Concord. This is my first time at this location. My things to get are the sweet tea jug and chicken nuggets, but it was breakfast and got breakfast sandwich and hash brown nuggets. When I got to the drive thru the staff was friendly and helpful. A new store, that cost millions to build, has the most ludicrous drive thru setup. Workers who take menu orders using iPads are standing outside in drivethru lanes, in cold and heat, exposed to car exhaust. Wouldn't menu screens and order confirmation systems be a better way to conduct business at a place like that? The workers distributing orders are running back and forth between the pickup window and multiple drive-thru lanes. A guy was almost run over twice while I was there. Newest location in Concord. In the old Claim Jumpers area of the parking lot. Lots of parking. 2 lane drive thru. Staff is always nice and polite. Food is always hot and just what you asked for. Love having CFA in the neighborhood! Line has never been long, and they have plenty of staff to keep things running smooth. Also love the double drive thru lines! Only issue I've had is my order not being correct, so I think I may order through the app next time since I usually request some modifications. I'm sure they have a million different variations/buttons on their screen and the employees are still getting the hang of it. I visited the store on 11/27/24 at 3:51pm I ordered 4 pice strips meal with a side Cobb salad with no cheese:and no corn instead of fries and a large sweet tea with Apple Cider Vinaigrette dressing. When I got home I had aside salad with cheese (which I am allergic) a 3 pieces strips which were no fully cooked and a lite Italian dressing. Most Chick-Fil-A restaurants are so hectic but this one in particular seems to be streamline! Ordered on my mobile app, when we got to the restaurant we were greeted with the door being opening for us, checked in with our table number. And within minutes our food was delivered by Leo.
