I was looking up places with traditional Salvadoran food. This place was about 30+ minutes out from me but I'm glad I took the drive! Food was delicious. The pupusas are the perfect serving size. Not greasy at all! We also had yuca with chicharrón, beans, rice, and plátano frito. Everything was delicious! The location is near the refinery and next door to a smog shop. It's a little hidden gem. Give it a chance!

Food was amazing and it tasted fresh! I will come back again. This is one my favorite spots in Martinez when I spoiled myself for food.

EXQUISITE. If you are salvadorean as I am... omg... GO GET A TASTE OF OUR LITTLE PULGARCITO!!!! It taste exactly the same as if you traveled alllllll the way there. LOL!! It mad me feel melancholic because I crave Salvadorean food every day... please go and try it! Of course I couldn't wait and I ate before I took the pic. Simply delicious ( noted that I ordered extra chicharrón and it was 5 dollars extra) . Delicious!

Hole in the wall spot. For a small spot they have a good size menu. Tried a couple revuelta pupusas and I was craving more cheese and pork. Also ordered plantains which were delicious. Workers were nice and service was quick.

3 carne asada tacos for my son. He loved them.

Customer service: the gentleman was very friendly and accommodating. We dined in the evening during cold weather and he quickly closed the door to keep us warm. My 10 year old son was with me, so he also played anime on the television for my son to enjoy. Food: I ordered zucchini cheese and bean pupusas. They were really good and the curtido and red sauce made it better. I actually LOVED their curtido. Will come back!

The manager talk to me and was able to get me my order but guess what? They gave me the wrong order. We tried the pupusas we were given, they were dry and barely any filling inside. So not even the food is good. Bad customer service which is very sad because i drove from Santa Rosa to give this location a try. Will not be coming back.

I was so craving pupusas. I live in Stockton, so I go to Yelp, and locate this place, I thought…read morethat driving to Tracy would be worth it because of the reviews, however, I was greatly disappointed. If you are going to charge $5.99 for each pupusa, Then at least make them good. I ordered a chicharrón and cheese pupusa and one of beans and cheeses. Once I am back home, I am super excited to finally get to eat and fulfill my craving. First thing I noticed, which I thought was kind of odd, Is that this restaurant uses bags with other legitimate businesses logos/names instead of paying for bags with logos of their own. Opening the cabbage mix that goes on top of your pupusa, I noticed many large slices of jalapeños, which is odd, because I've never seen that before. taking my first bites into the pupusa, l was not impressed because it was really dry and hard to swallow, and not a lot of flavor, so I only could eat half. Moving onto my other Pupusa with the beans and cheese was not that bad. Because at least the beans had flavor. And weren't nearly as dry as the first one, the red salsa that they give had good flavor, but I was really disappointed in the cabbage mix, and the overall experience. I thought maybe I was over exaggerating until I asked my family how they liked their meal, not one person had one good thing to say about their food. $57 down the drain on five Pupusas. Service really wasn't that great either as soon as my daughters and I walked into the place we weren't greeted. There was nobody upfront for at least a good 60 seconds, and the woman just walked up to us Staring at us, didn't ask what we needed so finally after staring at each other, I had to ask her for a menu, so that we could place an order to go. All the other girls walked around really doing nothing, Not smiling, Not even saying hello to customers, but they would gather in a corner, all altogether laughing, but couldn't even crack a smile to a customer. Overall, I think this place needs a lot of improvement in all areas of their business.

We were greeted right away and seated. The restaurant is big with lots of seating and clean. We both ordered a combo plates. I had the bean and cheese pupusa, chicken tamale, and plantains with beans. The tamale is one of the best ones I've had in the Bay Area. It was made with chicken breast, so no bone in, iykyk. For dessert i had the empanadas de leche. OMG!! So delicious! If you've never tried, I highly recommend. I will say this restaurant is a little pricier than most other pupuserias. But I think it's well worth it! I'll definitely be back.

I doubt that made much difference to their clientele, but in its place is another family-run business, this time Salvadoran. This one offers more generic plates at student-friendly prices for undiscriminating palates. That's at least my take in the couple of occasions I've tried it after going to the gym. The first time I tried it I couldn't see the menu until I got up to the order counter. Then I made the server wait since the menu was so comprehensive (Photo 5). I went basic and ordered the $16.99 Chicken Platter because the kabob version was five dollars more. It was decent enough though on the bland side with rice, fresh tomato salsa, and a small side salad of iceberg lettuce, sliced cucumber, and radish (Photo 9). The menu mentioned a house white sauce. I didn't see it, but I also didn't miss it either. I came back to try them again. I tried ordering the $14.99 Scrambled Eggs with Beef Chorizo but was told they were out of chorizo. This was looking to be a recurring theme because I was rebuffed the first time when I unsuccessfully ordered the beef gyro. Ironically this time they had the $16.99 Beef Gyro Platter. The rice and salad were identical to my previous platter, the beef was just OK (Photo 10).
