This place continues to struggle with getting orders right. Given them opportunity after opportunity to get it right and yet it doesn't happen. Placed an order online today hoping they would get it right and have it ready by the time I arrived. Even gave them an extra 20 mins from the time it said it would be ready for pickup to go in and have to wait even more because there were items missing from the order still. Steam rice, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. Nothing out of the ordinary to say it would cause a huge delay in the order being ready. Sad to say but the service is not up to par. read more

But this location is the worst. i ordered on door dash and my dasher was great on time but as far as the store they don't let you put "special instructions" they put no sauces of any kind in the bag even when i ordered the cream cheese appetizer and they are always so rude. also when ordering on door dash half the menu is not available, never again will i order from the panda express again read more

Love Panda Express. I can't help but say that for the amount of food that they give you and the price that you pay. It's actually pretty good. They give large quantities of food at a decent price. The environment before COVID, they were all very nice. When I do come here, I like to get their orange chicken and chow mien. I haven't had a bad experience here and I enjoy coming. read more

Man this place keeps disappointing me. Today I went to get my special needs son one of his favorite food orange chicken with steamed rice. Well at 4 in the afternoon they are out of steamed white rice. How does a Chinese food please run out of steamed rice. The girl said it would take 10 minutes but then someone told her to say an hour for the steamed rice. So now I guess I will have to call ahead to make sure they have what I will be ordering before going. I ordered chicken mushroom and a half noodles and half vegetables. I got 1/4 chicken mushroom about 1/2 an order of fire chicken and tons of noodles. Horrible! I ate some because I was hungry and didn't want to drive back out. And food was cold. read more

In town looking for a quick bite and looked up this Panda Express on Yelp. Reviews were pretty low, so I was doubtful - but I wasn't in the mood for Americana so I took my chances. I was pleasantly surprised. This Panda Express is perfectly on par with any other well-run P.E. Employee made a fresh batch of the dish we wanted and cleaned off a table for us. Staff was friendly, all dishes were good. Don't let the negative reviews here deter you. By the way - the 5 flavor shrimp really is good ;) it has a nice delicate taste! I'm not usually a fan of non-fried shrimp but this is delish. Of course the orange chicken and Shanghai beef are tasty as usual. And if you're looking for a treat, go for a side of rangoons. read more

I've gone to panda four times in the last couple months, and each time, when I get home, there's always something wrong with my order! This evening, I order a three item plate, and cream cheese Rangoon, and I have to wait for the Rangoon. So I'm waiting out front in my car, they bring me my food five minutes later, and when I get home, there is no Rangoon in the bag. Pisses me off! read more

I ordered all white rice.. kung pao chicken, mushroom chicken and honey walnut shrimp... they gave me all chow mein!! Went through the drive tru line and ordered two plates and a bowl. Apparently the employees don't understand English. My total came out to be very expensive and wasn't sure why till I checked my order. They rang me up for extra items I did not order. And he customer service isn't that great. No smile or greeting. However, all the locations in Fresno and Clovis have great customer service and have always got my order correct. This was my first time at the madera location, but will not be returning. read more

After a long day Panda was a go to choice... decided to stop at this local panda and wow just wow. Ordered a 2 entree with half and half (white rice/chow mein) only to get fried rice and burnt/chewy chow mein....the rice was taste less and felt like it's just been sitting there all day... also ordered orange chicken and sweet fire chicken. Orange chicken was the only item that tasted somewhat fresh and the sweet fire chicken was also taste less... also tasted like it was sitting there for too long... usually sweet fire is very delicious but tonight overall i was extremely disappointed in this meal... thinking twice next time I choose this after a long day... what a let down. read more

First I want to say I love panda's! This was one of the nicest ones I've been to. I love the staff. They are really friendly and funny. Every time I go the cooks are always cooking so I know the food is fresh. Today I ordered the walnut shrimp and orange chicken. Of course the Orange chicken was bomb but let me tell you about that walnut shrimp.... Dude! It's was so fantastic I ordered another side of it. The batter was nice and crunchy while the shrimp was moist. Then the most awesome things are the portions. They give so much food that there are always leftovers. While waiting in the drive Thur , which may I add is out the street by the fair grounds. I get to the speaker only to hear can you wait a minute. Then as I ordered was told it would be better to get the family dinner. I did the math after an no what I ask for would've be a bit cheaper. So I couldn't even get the chicken I wanted . The website said that the place opens at 9:00 AM, however, after placing an online order, I was told that it didn't open until 9:30 AM. I then patiently waited for the cashier to acknowledge me. After 20 minutes of waiting at the online order line, I had to reach out to the cashier because she was serving everyone else before me. This is absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone because customer service is sub-par. In a nutshell, I was told that my order would be ready by 9:15 AM and I did not leave until closer to 10:00 AM. Bad service for the past months. My order is always wrong and always have to wait. Really bad service here in Madera.

So they messed up the order. It happens, but when they are slow and in no rush at all. It's unacceptable. Not only did they mess up the order, but management said they understood my frustration. I don't give two stars and s bad review often, but when they just had just opened and there was no rush? It comes down to respected each customer. I don't believe it is my obligation to check their work, as that is part of my payment. These things, although simple tasks that fit within the "customer service" arena, are critical to a drive through business because Panda Express is not a meal you eat driving. So you only discover the errors when you arrive at your destination, which is likely to far to return. This should be emphasized in training. read more

I don't know. I used to really love this place. Is it my tastebuds or did something change? I can't eat too much of this place anymore. The beef and broccoli as I remember was awesome but I seem not to like it very much anymore. Not only that but the servings were bigger before. Now they only give you the broccoli.
