Customer service based review. 100/10 I placed an online family meal order for pickup at 5:30pm. I arrived early because they always have orders ready early. I'd rather arrive early and wait than to have soggy food. Seconds after I arrived the line formed to the door. The staff worked, call backs on orders to replace food in the food area was being communicated, everyone was working under the direction of the manager. The manager was also running just as hard as his employees and jumped right in to get the job done. I've worked fast food before and it gets crazy. Having a good manager makes all the difference in the world. Even though the stress employees are smiling, talking and they fit that line down AMAZINGLY fast. I asked an employee named Abby what the managers name was. I asked her because he is moving so quick with his crew you can't see his tag. I also asked Abby how she liked working with Donicio. Abby got a huge smile and said he is really good to work for! When your crew respects you the sky is the limit! Fast good jobs never receive the true praise they need!! This crew deserves a call to corporate. He is humble, hard working, encourages team work and communication and jumps right in himself to get the job done and prevent his team from being on a sinking ship! Food was decent. Went inside for a late dinner after a long day. Place closes at 11. We were in there about little after 9:30. Daughter had to use the bathroom she was told they were closed. Disappointing if you're going in to sit down for dinner and the bathrooms are closed. Is that normal? read more

Panda express stop being good after 2006 straight the "quality of food" has dropped drastically & the "customer service is missing the most important part the service part fast food employees are getting younger,lazier & just down right disrespectful. 12/1/24, It was a pretty busy night at Panda. Drive thru was insanely long so I went inside. The staff were all very busy but did a great job with communicating. I'm sorry, but I've been here multiple times but the food always leaves a puddle of oil at the bottom of my plate. The food is good like any other Panda Express but what is with the excess oil? Their food has been going down hill. I can't help but to smile when I come to this Panda Express right when I walk through the doors. The greeting is hilarious. I have not had any bad experiences at Panda Express at this location. The staff is friendly, high quality ingredients and pretty Togo plates that look fancy. This Panda Express has a drive thru that I have not utilized due to the drive thru being pack all the time but the line moves QUICK. If I have to wait for my entree to be made longer than 5 minutes due to running out of the item I received a free drink and extra helping of my entree. They are very generous on portion sizes. At lunch time the line can get crazy inside but it goes by fast. I feel this is the best Panda Express that I have tried in California and even my parents think so too. I will be back for sure especially if I am craving Panda. If you are in the area you have to stop by and check it out you will not be disappointed! read more

Went in today for an online order which was scheduled for pick up at 12:18. I didn't walk out with food until 12:58! Melina was extremely rude laughing at me and at one point even yelled at me. Garbage service at this location. The person taking our order had to ask multiple times what we wanted, not because she couldn't hear us, but because she wasn't paying attention. Even after telling her, and she would "confirm" what I said, and then ask again if it was a different entree. That said, I eat A LOT of Panda, since I travel for work and it's one of the few places that offer some healthy-ish options for a road warrior. Portions were of a decent size, but the vegetables in my Supergreens might as well have not been "cooked" at all. I bit into a piece of broccoli and it was still cold in the center - that is unacceptable. I'll avoid this place in the future - if it's your "home" location, sorry for your lack of choice, but if you're passing by, skip this one and go to the next. Ok, this is long over due. In the past 3 years we have ordered Panda to go or delivery. 9 times out of 10 it is wrong. If I call the store most often they will NOT answer their phone. When I use a delivery service they use excuses, they can't redeliver the missing food, or their shift is over, or I have to resolve with the store. But when I call and they do answer their excuse is they are very busy and only human and are completely arrogant and unapologetic. The manager is smug and rude. A week and a half ago I ordered to go. I went to pick up and the sign said store dining was closed she tried to turn me away to the drive through which was about 20 cars deep. I insisted they come to the door. She said can't you read the sign the dining is closed! I said I am not waiting in the drive thru line to pick up my order. They still tried to turn me away. She told me it would be a wait for my order. I said it was supposed to be ready 5 minutes ago. They then checked and it was ready. Her attitude was again as smug as the managers with a response, well we are short handed and it's not my fault you have to wait! I said and it's mine? I'm not here for your convenience. Your order system said nothing about dining room being shut. She rolled her eyes and shut the door. Got home and no sauces, utensils or napkins of any kind. Each time these things happen the experience makes the meal less satisfying. Today I used GruHub. Order was placed as a reorder. Chowmein, Fried Rice, orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Spring Rolls. No chowmein and two Fried Rices. Driver said he just ended his shift and I needed to call the store. I called and guess what, of course no answer. I contacted Grubhub. They could not send a driver to pick up the missing contents. Refunded me the chowmein. I insisted on the delivery fee as well to be refunded. What is the deal with this store? Note all of the negative reviews! They outweigh the positive ones. Fix your management and customer service. I ordered the Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken (all spicy) on a Saturday around lunchtime. Service through the drive thru was super quick. Only one in line and my food was ready when I hit the pickup window - very impressed. The food was excellent, spicy like I like it, a lot of taste. I normally use the river park location but this time I was coming through Madera so I thought I would try them. IMO the Madera Panda Express had faster service and better taste. read more

When we got to the speaker, the employee was not friendly. When we got to the window, the employee took our card, handed us our food and returned the card without saying a word to us. I want to panda about two months ago and I'm doing this review because I called I wasn't happy with the way I received my food I went to the drive-through it was during the lunch rush. Ever I got chow mein with all the bowls teriyaki chicken on 3 and walnut shrimp on one and 2 entree meal all chowmein and The super greens in the orange chicken , let me tell you all the chow mein taste burnt. It ruined all our meals . The Madera panda express is the worst that's like the second time I've ordered chow mein and it taste burnt or was burnt. So I called corporate and explain to them that they need to tell the cook if they burn the chow mein or any Food they need to just toss it you cannot eat the dish once it is burnt everything will taste burnt taste Garbage, I was told I would be compensate me for my ruined meals . This place continues to struggle with getting orders right. Given them opportunity after opportunity to get it right and yet it doesn't happen. Placed an order online today hoping they would get it right and have it ready by the time I arrived. Even gave them an extra 20 mins from the time it said it would be ready for pickup to go in and have to wait even more because there were items missing from the order still.
