Not impressed with this food. To be honest. All Panda Express restaurants taste the same. I was dining with a friend who likes it. And couldn't be convinced to go elsewhere, no biggie. Sometimes you sacrifice lol. The beef itself was tender. Just not enough of it. And it had some fatty bits I didn't like. Served on my choice of fried rice. No flavor. Reminder of why I don't eat here anymore. Greasy and flavorless. I remember always having to add copious amounts of soy sauce to taste anything. The spring rolls were pretty tasty though. Hot and crispy on the outside and yummy veggies in the center. And the specialty drink was delicious. Pomegranate pineapple lemonade. Yummy. Friendly service and a huge clean restaurant. I'm not the type to leave one star, but something has to improve. 20-30 minute wait time? The food isnt complicated enough for that. Not only was the food not fresh when we finally got it (ordered at 8:08p, received 8:29p) but there were at least five people waiting on mobile orders, one of which was a first responder. That's what really got me. She stood there for the whole 20 minutes with the rest of us. Seemed like breaks and cleaning were being prioritized over the customers. Watched an employee walk out drink in hand to sit in his car and another sweep the lobby while we all waited around for our average food. Terrible service at this location. Not a single word to the customers waiting in the lobby that entire time. Once they finally got around to us, they completed all of our orders within minutes of each other. Lame. read more

Do not place an online order here. Placed my order at 4:40 PM to be ready at 5:30 PM. When I arrived, they were not even aware that I had placed an order. It took an additional 20 minutes for them to make my order. Staff was really disorganized. The beef and broccoli was 80% broccoli and very little beef. Orange chicken and chow mein were good as usual. It's sad because this place could do very well if they could just get more organized and have some sort of management helping the staff stay organized. Panda Express hits the spot when we're feeling lazy and don't want to cook. Not gonna lie, they make legit orange chicken. The standard order is chow mein with double orange chicken, but I like to mix it up with some broccoli beef every once in a while. Don't even mess with the other entrees! This location is hit or miss with their portion sizes. It's like roulette, you never know what you're going to get when you order online for pickup. Sometimes, the boxes are packed full with food, other times, it's super skimpy. It would be great if there was some consistency. Remind me why I went in the first place?! Not all Panda Express are the same in terms of service, friendliness, and price. The Issaquah one is more expensive than the Federal Way and Renton branches but the food tastes the same for the most part. At about 5pm (you would think starting to get busy time), they would have an array of fresh food out BUT NOPE. They had a scoops-worth of beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken. It was all dried and shriveled up. I had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for a new batch and they still got the order wrong. I pointed and asked for one but got the other. Then noticed they were putting the wrong item in and when I came home and looked at the order -- they put half order of x and half order of y in the same carton. The good news is that for the most part, they fill up the carton with whatever food you order. The food is truly unhealthy. I felt my blood pressure rise with each bite and I was so parched afterwards. They use too much sugar and sodium in their dishes. I get so tired of their dishes too -- they should change it up. I appreciate that they do strive to make their food without MSG and they do try to make it fresh. I've actually recommended them (on their feedback forum/call line) to have healthier options and kid-friendly (non-spicy) ones, and maybe some soup options. One time, my 4 year old was crying outside the restaurant because she couldn't eat half of the stuff she wanted because their selection wasn't very good and I had to sit with her and comfort her. We haven't been back in several months. The kids are actually getting sick of it as are we during covid lockdown. We visited Panda Express, primarily, to try their advertised Firecracker Shrimp. Not exactly impressed. While the dish was tasty enough, I did not think it has any kick to its flavor. (My wife, who does not overly like heat, thought it was good dish.). Also, there was a separate $1.50 charge for this dish that is not disclosed anywhere. Other dishes -- we tried orange chicken and mushroom chicken -- were adequate. The restaurant seemed pretty popular. Lots of traffic during the lunch time. They seemed a bit understaffed. While cooking and serving processes were being handled OK, the dining area was pretty filthy with practically every table needing wipe down. We probably will return, but, perhaps, outside of the rush hours. read more

This location is incredibly convenient and incredibly busy. We ran in for dinner and quickly noticed how short staffed they were. Andy and Adan worked together as a team, never allowing the customers to feel the stress of how busy they were with an inadequate amount of staff. They provided excellent customer service and ensured that they were finding a way to have hot and fresh food available. I was shocked to learn first-hand that Panda Express at this location is actively "bait switching" their customers by offering the standard size portions based on the number of entrees.. 1, 2 or 3 entrees. Just to the right is the list of available entree. The bait switch comes when you pick entrees from the list, apparently some of them are considered premium items that come with additional surcharge in addition to the meal price. WTF.. either they need to clarify their portion size to "basic entrees" and organize the entrees into basic and premium groupings or fall out the extra fee. SHAME ON YOU PANDA!! I asked to speak to the manager to ask how she could accept such deception, she basically blew me off and said that corporate runs the show. Corporate is crooked. Local management have no spine or integrity. Would not recommend based on principle and honestly, who really need their sub-standard food.. it is so flavorful because they are hiding the face that there is almost no chicken in the orange chicken, just breading and the quality of the ingredients is sub-standard. I ordered a family meal online and it said to pick up at 12:20pm. I get down there at 12:23pm and the guy says they are in the process of cooking a batch of an entre. Workers are incredibly lazy and have bad attitudes. Not even willing to do the bare minimum of their job requirements. I was served some scraps instead of the actual food itself. They knew it was scraps and asked me to wait 5 minutes. I said yes no problem, there was no line either. And when I walked up to the counter, I saw the same employee try and smuggle the dregs of the containers to fill my bowl up and bring it up to me. Not sure what's up with it. Didn't taste like there was a syrup shortage issue necessarily, but it had no carbonation and tasted like it had been watered down with ice and sat out for a few hours? We use this facility quite often , but today was not a great day. The chicken and string beans was out so had to wait for about 10 minutes. No problem. Go home to find the bowl is full of Chow Mein and only 5 pieces of of string beans and 2 pieces of chicken very disappointed. I should have read the reviews before going to this location. I go to Panda Express a lot, but I hadn't been to this one bc I don't live nearby. Understaffed, disorganized, and one rude employee. Placed an online order, went in shortly after pickup time to a huge line, a huge crowd of people waiting for their online orders, and piles of food containers that had been filled but not organized by name or distributed. 30 minutes later they finally hand me my bowl and it's not what I ordered bc they're out of what I ordered. I ask for a refund so that I can leave and get food somewhere else. After another 15 minutes and being called "lady" by the woman most in charge I'm finally given a phone number to call for a refund. The phone call was relatively easy. She could have skipped chewing me out and just given me the phone number from the beginning.
