First, the most important observation: Katheryn R. was probably the most patient and understanding fast-food server I've ever encountered in my (many years of) life. I was completely confused by the choices at the drive-thru menu. In 2025, I bought a burger here once or twice...usually from the kids' menu. Then a few days ago, I heard someone on YT talking about a Jibbie that comes with a Munchie meal. I thought I could get one by ordering from the $4 Munchie menu. Bwahahaha...nope. I even asked what the Jr. Chicken Munchie meal came with and Katheryn and I confused each other. But when she started adding up the sandwich, drink, curly fries and tacos, and the price came to $12, I asked her to please go back to the original order of one Jr. Chicken sandwich and that price was much more reasonable, though the chicken patty, lettuce and dry bun sandwich itself only rates 1 star with me. read more

Being one of the only 24 options on the Eastside, I can always count on this Jack in the Box. They have a incredibly hard working staff, friendly at all hours of the day and night, and I have never gotten an incorrect order from this location. They do very often have a very long drive thru line, at most I have waited near 15 minutes from start to finish. You can also opt to go inside the location to order which can be a bit quicker. I love jack in the box but this location is SO inconsistent. Every time I go my food is different, the ingredients are different, and sometimes its so sloppily put together its like the cook was in a bad mood when they made it. My husband went a few weeks ago and asked for extra sriracha and the cook drowned his burrito in cheese-- seriously? I got my sausage burrito today and it had no hashbrowns in it, last time it had no sausage, and the time before that it had no sriracha sauce in it. I completely understand running out of ingredients but I would rather be told you're out of something and to not expect it rather than send something sub-par out the window-- it comes a crossed to customers that you dont care. Be careful if you use your credit or debit cards at this establishment. I took a little too long trying to order in the drive-through line, and the cashier lady seemed less than enthusiastic about this after I pulled up to pay. A few hours after using my credit card here, I received notice from my bank that there were some fraudulent charges on my bank account. A couple of weeks later, after canceling my card and refunding the fraudulent charges, I received a phone call from some grifter pretending to be my bank, asking me to log into my bank account so he could "help" me reverse more "fraudulent charges" (from my canceled credit card, mind you). He went so far as to send me an "official" text message from my bank and called me over and over again until I blocked his number. The real cherry on top was this person's smoke detector kept beeping in the background, while he was quietly trying to con me into giving him my personal info. LOL. It's just ok. The drive through speed is hit or miss. The app is pretty worthless. I just got fries once when no one was in the drive through and it was my longest wait. Maybe they were out? It's amazing to me how much money a franchise owner has to have in the bank in order to own a fast food restaurant for the little bit that they make in profit. We went back through the drive through and asked second employee for a refund having decided we did not want items remade. After first and second employee conferred, in Spanish, he tried to say the food matched the ticket, so it was correct. We explained that that neither the ticket nor the food matched what was ordered. This jack in the box doesn't accommodate large trucks. If your truck can't fit through the line due to height clearance they won't service you and you can't go inside the store due to the corona pandemic. Jack in the Crack is the bad boy that you like that you hangout with occasionally and don't bring home to meet your parents. You know he's not good for you, but he tastes so good. This Jack is the same. Tempting, delicious, fattening, but a bit on the slower side. I was there on a weeknight after work and with no one else in the drive thru besides me, it still took 8 minutes to get a burger and fries. Normally I don't have a problem with Jack-in-the-Box. But I put in a large order at 9:30 at night and they didn't give me a receipt Which I did not discover till I got home. With a $50 order and no receipt I found out that the order was incorrect once we got home. I called the store right away but nobody answered. I left a message. Everytime I come there during the middle of the night I am told that either you guys ran out of shakes or your shake machine is down. EVERYTIME. I probably try and get a shake there at least twice a week because it is the only place open late at night and I can never get one. There is no way you run out every night or it's down every night. The owner and his daughter are the crankiest people I've ever dealt with. I realized when I got to the window they were charging me for individual items and not meals so I mentioned that one of the orders was a meal. The owner just stood there glaring at me and then his daughter said "I asked you if everything on the screen looked okay and you said yes" she said it with a lot of attitude. And I said all the items were correct but there was a meal... then the owner says to her "watch now they aren't going to want their milk shakes either or they will say they want to substitute drinks for shakes" which of course was not the case. I regret moving forward and paying for the meals after the disrespect. I understand it was a $50 order and a lot to keep track of that is why I didn't have a problem letting them know which items were the meal. It was a $10 difference so it seemed worth correcting. Then I looked in the bag to make sure everything was there because it was getting late and every time we have gone here at least two items are left out that we have paid for.
