Stopped by the Taco Bell on Gilman Blvd for a quick bite while shopping in the area. I got the Mexican Pizza and the Dragonfruit Berry Agua Refresca. The Mexican Pizza was tasty -- lots of cheese and a nice crunch. I could taste the refried beans, but the beef portion felt pretty light. Still flavorful overall. The Dragonfruit Berry drink was sweet but refreshing. Next time I'll probably ask for it less sweet. The restaurant wasn't busy, service was quick, and there's plenty of parking. I came to Seattle, Washington, on vacation, and we went through a drive-thru to grab something to eat. The food was just okay not great. One thing that really surprised me was that the food wasn't properly heated; it was only slightly warm. I couldn't understand how anyone could serve food like that, especially when it's supposed to be hot. It felt like we were eating frozen food that hadn't been warmed up properly. Today, we gave the same drive-thru another try and ordered a chicken quesadilla meal with fries and a drink. Again, it was just okay. What really disappointed me was the cinnamon delights. I've had cinnamon delights at many places across the U.S., and they're one of my favorites because of how soft and flavorful they usually are. I had Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos tacos supreme which was pretty good. I had Taco Bell years ago in San Diego and I remember the price much lower. I added extra meat because I remember the meat always being skimpy in past, and more cheese, and sour cream. The plus is they put the hard taco in a cardboard sleeve. I stopped here with a group of friends after a backpacking trip near Cle Elem. I was shocked and disappointed to learn the Cle Elem Taco Bell location had since closed. We were famished by the time we reached Issaquah, but our experience was worth the wait. After ordering significant quantities of all our favorite vegetarian options (many with customizations), our food was ready seemingly instantaneously. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our selected items. I actually returned to the restaurant to order another item off the kiosks. Again, it was a smooth, rapid experience. Quick plug that Taco Bell has concocted a near replacement the 7 layer burrito (huzzah) - it's called the Veggie Fiesta Burrito but remove tortilla strips and ask for it grilled to improve the experience. It was spectacular & I was overjoyed to have the experience to reminisce with my old favorite menu item. I have only had incredibly positive experiences at this Taco Bell location. I will continue to visit regularly on the drive from the mountains to Seattle. read more

September 12, 2023 UPDATE Prices continue to go up every few weeks The $3.29 chalupa from 2 years ago which was at $4.89 a few months ago is now $5.29. That's a 60% increase in price in 2.5 years! The prices at this location are so high that they are beyond ridiculous. We visited Taco Bell locations in other states recently and their prices were 15%-40% cheaper than this Issaquah location. Will be avoiding this location until prices come down. read more

UPDATE: Returned the day after the 1st visit, during the day. 4 cars in the drive-thru, around 8pm (I think). I'm not sure what was going on in front of the speaker, but the guy in front of it just sat there. Then the guys in the front 2 cars got out and had a "conversation". Not sure what was going on, but when we were finally up to order, everything was as quick and seamless at it should be. The order was right, the food was hot, good and they got the order right!! They even got my special request right. From the speaker to the order received was maybe 3-5 minutes. We waited, 2-3 years(!!??!) for the reconstruction of this location. I'm a happy camper. I no longer need to get my TB fix in Factoria anymore. I'm probably going to have to start going the the gym more. 4 stars just due to wait before getting up to place our order. Original post: Drove through before midnight the Sat after they opened, on 4th of July weekend. I was told "we're closed tonight & tomorrow at 11 for maintenance". Uhm, it's a new store... maintenance? Google showed open til 2 (I checked before I went). Now it shows open until 11 through the week & 12 on Sat & Sun. This place used to be a real hole. Since they have reopened it is quite different. Obviously new owners. The staff, especially Tanya was very welcoming. Dine-in order was quick and correct. I've been there a few times, and the staff are so overwhelmingly patient, compassionate, and helpful. I'm Autistic & have other mental disabilities that change my cognitive function, so I often get confused & it can take me a long time to think about simple things like what food to order. The staff at the drive-thru have told me to go ahead and take my time, and they have also offered assistance such as asking me if I needed some of the menu read out loud or explained. They have actually been even *so much more patient and helpful* than any of the actual disability service people I've talked to (such as at government agencies like Social Security). The accessible experience I've had with the TB staff is honestly an ideal I didn't know I could hope for. Even despite how customer service is a very stressful and fast-paced job, and staff are often not treated kindly. I was spoken to and treated in a very respectful way that I'm not used to as a disabled person. I think everyone deserves to be spoken to in such an understanding & open-minded way. I didn't even have to tell them that I was disabled or that I had trouble with my thinking (although my disability does show -- with my body language, my slow speech, etc. -- but a lot of people don't know that these are traits of mental disability). There seemed to just be an understanding among the staff that human beings should all be shown compassion & basic respect, and that there's to be no tolerance for prejudices that may have been learned toward folks who may not seem as smart, and whose harmless existence may challenge the rigid principles many of us have learned. A better world starts one step at a time, even if it's something that seems small like the way we treat a person who's just ordering at a fast food drive-thru. read more

I don't remember the employees ever being nice and the moment an elderly employee walked away while talking to me and said "I don't have time for this", I decided not to go to this fine establishment. Completely despicable service. The young man with long frizzy hair was extremely unprofessional and slow. I ordered my Skittles freeze and then he asked me what else I wanted, I ordered tacos and then ten seconds later he said "oh we outta the freezes" and then forgot the rest of my order so I had to repeat it all. You could tell he was distracted because you could hear laughter in the background of the drive thru speaker. When I got to the window I gave him my card and it took a good two minutes until I got it back. Normally, I would be worried he was scamming my credit card, but in this case I heard him just laughing with his coworkers and goofing off in the back. When he asked me if I wanted any sauces, I asked for a handful of hot. I opened the bag to find he gave me a handful of mild. Perhaps he is illiterate? The food itself is also subpar. I won't lie I will go here again... Despite the one star rating, it's not the food which is typical fast food. I like the KFC which is also served here and of course they have Mnt Dew! They close early all the time! I've been there no less than five times clearly before closing time, which they plaster all over the building, and it's totally closed and not a soul in the place. Not like five minutes before locking up, like totally closed a good half hour early. Once we came through and they were closing, an hour before actual closing, they were all still inside but refused to answer the drive through... At the drive through window we slowly passed, stopped and saw them just standing there they looked right at us and walked away. Must be tough working at Taco Bell. Who ever is in charge of this location should probably pay more attention to their employees and actually make sure they know what there doing and how to cook the food correctly before putting them out there to serve customers that are paying for this food and expecting it the way your company advertises it. I have been here twice and gotten the grilled stuffed burrito, the second one was filled a little more than the first .. but still crap. The burrito fell apart, there was too much pico in it, and wasn't even grilled enough. I use to love Taco Bell, at least when I lived in CO and CA, and idk if it's just me but every fast food I've been to out here in the past two years of being here has been so bad. How hard is it to grill a burrito, how hard is it to add the right amount of gravy to the kfc chicken mash potato bowl, or cook corn correctly and not burn it. Guess what......... the remake......... WAS WRONG!!!! They improved a tiny bit because this time it was "only" half wrong half right. I did not want to drive all the way home again just to realize my order was wrong, so I checked it in the store. I gave up and decided to go elsewhere. I gave him the wrong items back and asked for the name of his supervisor, boss, etc. Baldezar kept trying to point me back to Genaro the person (supposed other manager) on the receipt. Baldezar told also me the wrong store location number or who was the franchisee or corporate owner. To make a long story short, after asking for the boss' name again Baldezar tells me he is going to call 991 on me. I corrected him and said it was 911. The Issaquah Police Officer was very kind and professional and kinda cute actually, anyways I told him the story and assured him there was never and would never be a problem because I was leaving the store and NEVER coming back. I plan to contact the health dept because the store was gross in the food prep area and corporate has been notified of how I was treated and the nastiness of their store.
