I can see why this location has such low reviews. They're awful. I wouldn't let my dog eat here. I started to order. I asked for half honey chicken and half beef barbacoa separated so that they weren't on top of each other. The gal put them together. When I asked if she could remake it she rolled her eyes. And then used her hands to separate the meat. When I walked up those hands were on her waist. Half on apron and half on her t shirt that came from who knows where. And then those hands directly touched the food she wanted to give me. I asked for a manager. I explained to him what had happened as he's trying to charge me for a burrito that had unsanitary hands touch it. I said no I won't pay for that. For $14 I deserve to be treated with respect and not have eyes rolled me because I wanted my burrito a certain way. (FWIW I order it this way all the time and haven't ever had an issue) he laughed. Ordered catering for our neighborhood End of Summer Bash. We ordered the 3 protein and sides. Perfect size for 50 people! It came with chips, guac, 4 types of salsas, two kinds of corn and flour tortillas, rice, beans, chicken, veggie meat and veggies corn and peppers. They delivered on time and everyone loved it. I needed dinner so decided to come here. Haven't been to a Chipotle in a long time. This location doesn't have too many stars. I admit I didn't read them. I needed food and wanted a burrito bowl. Decided on the steak with white rice, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, black beans & cilantro sauce and corn. The service was friendly and the team worked well together. The place was packed too. Definitely friendly environment and good atmosphere. And of course a side of chips and guacamole. Took my food to go and it was delicious. A few of the steak pieces were fatty, but The good kind of fat. lol. Bummed that they up charge for the cilantro lime sauce. The chips and guacamole a great side. A couple bites were spicy. I think there is jalapeño in the pico de gallo. And enough food to have leftovers tomorrow. The parking lot is very busy. Will I be racing back? Maybe next time I don't want to cook. If you want proof that not all Chipotle's are the same, visit both Issaquah and Sammamish locations. Issaquah is the clear winner. Line moves fast, burritos rolled tight, the take out is still warm, and on the rare occasion something wasn't quite right, the customer service was great. The other... we drive an extra 10 minutes to come to the Issaquah location. A lot of these places are mostly run by teens. This one seems to do a good job hiring and training. read more

I actually didn't know that a chipotle could be this bad. It was filthy. The music was extremely loud. The person who served my food rolled their eyes when I would ask for light salsa or more corn. The person who rang me up, didn't even look at me. The people cleaning sprayed cleaning spray right next to me while I was eating. I will never come here to this location again, but I love chipotle. She was short and passive aggressive and when we asked to wait for steak because they ran out she said "OMG" and when the steak finally finished she gave my girlfriend a death stare and pointed at the food like "hurry up can't you see" she also gave people half servings I had to ask for more. Hands down the worst chipotle in the area. Unfortunately it is the most conveniently located near me and has plenty of parking. However, the restaurant is always a mess and even if you order ahead, they can't seem to keep up with their online orders and are always behind. I've placed an online order here at least three times now and it's never been ready by the expected time, even when the restaurant is empty. I'm not sure if this location has a staffing issue but expect to wait if you come here and make sure to watch your step because it's always messy. read more

Been in Issaquah for a year now so I frequent this Chipotle. Never any issues. 7:30 pm on Wednesday September 20th, what in the world happened here? I placed a DoorDash pick-up order to save some time, only to see the line pass by faster than my order came out. A red-haired staff member asked for my name twice and finally handed me my order from the back. No biggie. I opened my bag in the car to see a sticker with the name "AJ" on there. Not my order. Guac, fajita veggies, carne asada, all things I don't eat even if I tried. Simple, just go back and switch out the order, so I did. I was greeted (well, greet is a strong word when I had to catch her among three other guests waiting at the cashier with their order issues) by the same red-haired girl. I kindly told her my order was wrong while handing her the incorrect order. This is the fun part: She reached for the burrito bowl, immediately shoved it back into my hands, and then mumbled something to which I responded "It's not my order", thinking that she must've misheard me. Then I got ANOTHER HARD SHOVE BY THE BURRITO BOWL until she finally snatched the bowl from me and tossed it in the trash can behind me. She must've really been irritated by my confused face (I thought we were playing a game of hot potatoes) when she mumbled, "Throw it in the trash, how hard is that" followed by an eye roll. I was stunned. AJ happened to be standing right behind me witnessing his food getting thrown away. He told me that he's got two items through the app and has been waiting on the correct order for 20 minutes now. Poor AJ. I've worked in the industry and observed that the restaurant was understaffed. Only one staff member was on the line serving and cashiering whereas there should typically be three, if I recall correctly. He seemed slightly stressed by the guest line but I saw him still following protocols, taking orders patiently, and switching out his gloves with every order. There should be ABSOLUTELY NO REASON why a customer needs to be shoved and told to throw an item away. When I finally received my order, I asked for a manager to speak to. Scout's honor, I am not coming from a place to ruin this girl's already stressful day but to communicate with a manager about the issues in this restaurant that I never had a problem with. Guess what, plot twist! She IS the manager. I asked for a name, and whether we could have a conversation after the dinner rush was over. She froze for a split second, then mumbled to me three times, "You cannot know my name. We are not allowed to tell our names". And that's a wrap to my originally swift in-and-out experience at the Issaquah Chipotle. I couldn't get a name, a correct order, or the other half of my burrito bowl filled up. Couldn't get that burrito shove out of my head either, alongside AJ's jaw-dropping when that all went down. I regret to say that I don't have a solution to offer here, only hope that my experience there is seen and heard by someone other than DoorDash customer reps, especially since finding an empathetic manager wasn't possible. We also ordered a steak bowl with extra topping too Pick up time was supposed to be 8:30 pm, however order was put out on the mobile pick station till a little after 9pm. The food wasn't even warm. The steak bowl was horrible! Over cooked steak with tons of grizzle and the rice and beans were tasteless! Couldn't get thru 1/2 the order. Just trashed the whole thing. What waste of $28+ . The line was moving extremely slow, I asked for all my sides to be rice and they gave me 2 sides of rice, then they ran out, that's okay and all, but they were also out of queso, so I couldn't have my usual order. When I sat down and opened my food to see that they forgot a side, I went back up there and tell them, just for them to skimp even more, and I waited more, I saw the line at that point it was crazy. The quality used to be better. I ordered hard shell tacos with beef. Beef looked and tasted it has been sitting out and flavor was bland. I would just add medium salsa to make it better. I got a $25 gift card for Chipotle for Christmas & haven't been here in years. My husband & I tried to go in & place an order for lunch around noon & the girl behind the counter yelled "online only" so a few us us just left. I did some research on their Yelp reviews & discovered they have only 2 star reviews at all of their local locations- ouch. I considered regifting the gift card- lol- but then decided we'd give it another try. We made our order online which was relatively user friendly & followed some ordering advice so we got 2 kids quesadilla meals which are a great value & plenty of food plus a drink for $4.95-wow! My husband wanted chicken & steak in his quesadilla plus 3 salsas instead of rice & beans so he ordered that as well. We also got the queso blanco with chips which were really good & only $8. Based on our last visit & the lack of info online we thought they were only online & surprised to see people walking in & ordering at the counter so we just got in a small line to pick up our order. The guy at the counter gave me a bit of an attitude when I said our order was under both of our names so I said "is our order ready or not" & of course it wasn't- 10 minutes past the time it was supposed to be as I've seen on all the other reviews. So we waited a few minutes as the crew in the back filled our order & was ready pretty quickly. We decided to eat our food in the seating area while it was hot & we were so happy the order was filled correctly & the food was delicious! (So many reviews said this was not the case) The kid's meal quesadillas were delicious- we got 1 chicken & pork carnitas that came with 2 choices of beans & rice that were really tasty. The queso blanco was really good- cheesy with a bit of heat & a generous portion of crispy chips. My husband loved his quesadilla with salsas meal as well. Im not sure what's going on at this Chipotle, but they royally messed up our order. Unfortunately we didn't notice until getting home as it was a mobile order. They didn't include the large chips and guacamole and large chips and queso. They turned the bowl into a burrito and it was even printed on the label as a bowl. First of terrible experience Was getting a drink and waiting for my food and I seen a employee dig her hand in the chip bag that are served out to the costumers and eat it without any gloves show proceeded to put the gloves on and pick a wedgy ass she was walking out the kitchen door to serve food. The workers definitely don't match the "friendly" and "upbeat" job description at all and make customers feel rushed when ordering. The portions are also a good bit smaller than other locations. I've noticed this a few times so these things are definitely pretty consistent. I recommend going to the Sammamish location instead if you're willing to make the extra 15ish minute drive, their workers are usually really chill. read more
