First time visiting MOD Pizza. While having my hair refreshed next door at Ulta all the hairdressers could not stop talking about MOD Pizza. How good it is all the time. So, I decided to try it out. I ordered The Dominic on the regular MOD crust. I have to first say that the service was amazing! Like truly friendly. I felt as if I had just walked into the local pizza parlor. And by some of the reviews I read it seems to be that in the Issaquah Highlands. The pizza crust was perfectly thin and cooked so well. I chose a pizza with an alfredo sauce and already chosen toppings as I did not feel like deciding. But of course, you can chose your own toppings. The pizza comes with a drizzle of your choice of sauces. I chose pesto. It is a huge restaraunt with loads of good vibes from the artwork to the seating arrangements. Tall tables, booths, and a small outside area. The price is affordable as well. It may become my new after hair care tradition! SYOY! read more

Pretty good personal pizza place where you can make your own pizza. Since its make your own, what you put on it matters IMO. You get wet toppings, you'll get a soggy crust. They do have recommendations for you though. So far, most of my pizza's have had a really nice crispy undercarriage without any flop. I tend to be somewhat minimalist though with my toppings since their crust is super thin. Overall, love the freedom to get what you like and to discard what you don't. They have a great oven which makes crispy crust. They do have gluten free options as well. We'll likely return. read more

My first time to the new location since moving. So glad they upgraded to a bigger restaurant. One of the reasons I stopped going as much is because of the long lines and limited seating, but that is no longer a problem now they have plenty of tables! Happy to report they still make delicious pizzas and salads. My new fave is there cheesy breadsticks made with vegan cheese me and the family loved it. Happy to see their ample selection in veggies. I decided to stop by on the way home from work and try out MOD pizza. Went inside, It was quiet and a good time to go, and clean and has an open vibe concept. The service was quick and friendly. Plenty of room for a large party. I watched the pizza go into the pizza oven. I ordered the Tristan. The Tristan was delicious and baked well. I plan on going again and trying out a different flavorful pizza. They also have a cake that looks like a Hostess Ding dong, called "No name cake" it was a pleasant surprise for dessert. Pricing is a bit steep for the size pizza, however the flavor wins! If you haven't already, I recommend you try out MOD pizza and the No name cake for a sweet treat. read more

My family has been coming to this MOD pizza since we moved to Issaquah ten years ago. Their pizza is always delicious and I love how convenient it is to go to MOD to grab a bite before the movies. The price has obviously gone up a crazy amount in the last ten years and we definitely feel like it isn't what we would consider cheap fast food anymore because it takes forever to get your pizza and each one is almost ten dollars. I love that they expanded to a bigger location, because the vibes in the new space are so immaculate, I just wished they kept it clean! Whenever I come here no matter if it's busy or not, the tables are disgusting with crumbs and dirty napkins everywhere. I've never gone to MOD and not had to wipe down m own table. During my most recent visit, the staff were so inundated with orders we had to wait twenty minutes in line with no one helping us. We were about third which meant the whole line was backed up. My mom contemplated leaving several times but my little sister and I were craving pizza so we stayed. The pizza as always was delicious. Especially this time the crust was cooked perfectly crispy and my mom was so impressed she even complimented the guy standing at the oven. We've gotten used to burned crusts at MOD so we loved how expertly our pizza was cooked this time around. We hope that continues! We LOVE this place! Nice lighting and always clean. The pizza is always fresh and chewy, coming straight from the pizza oven. Either the bowls have changed shape for salads or they have gotten smaller for the regular mid size. That being said- I used to have a hard time finishing the salad having leftovers but this time I finished it without any issues. The salad was good but if they didn't decrease the size of a to go salad container it's really a bummer to get less for more money. One thing I was impressed with was the paper fork- you heard me... the to go container had a rigid paper fork instead of plastic that isn't the type to be recycled. Fresh ingredients, baked pretty well, fast and efficient service, decent ambience in the dining room although gets noisy when crowded with kids who come right after sports (not the restaurants fault). Haven't been to a MOD Pizza for a while, but my bf hasn't tried it before, so we decided to grab some after our workout. I was worried they would be skimpy on the toppings like at some other locations, but they loaded my pizza with plenty of toppings. My daughter and I enjoyed a nice meal together here yesterday evening. She ordered a mini vegan non-dairy pizza with soy based meat crumbles and green peppers and I ordered a mod salad made to order and I was able to pick exactly what I wanted and honored my wish to go oil free and just have vinegar as a dressing. The service was top-notch as we felt that our dietary preferences were honored in a timely manner. I have been to other MOD Pizza locations where we have to wait a long time. My first experience for MOD pizza and I must say it was refreshing. I want in the late afternoon and the place wasn't very busy but looked like I had just missed the rush. Several tables were needing wiped down and the trash cans were overflowing. Maintenance aside the staff were very friendly and graciously took the time to help me navigate their menu and process. I was specifically drawn to MOD pizza because of their ingredient options. Everything was fresh and presented well. Mod pizza is one of our favorite custom pizza places that gained popularity several years ago. Love that you can customize the pizza toppings, sauce, and cheese to your liking. They really do have a wide variety of sauce and topping options that all looked really fresh. Their cheesey garlic bread (same size as a regular mod with cheese, garlic, and herbs) is also really good to complement the pizza with a side of dipping sauce of your choice. I used to enjoy visiting MOD Pizza, but my recent experience at the Issaquah Highlands location left much to be desired. Upon entering, the employees appeared slow and very depressed, taking around 8-10 minutes to assist the person ahead of us. Despite the initial delay, we decided to stay, attributing it to potential busyness. We ordered our food, sat down and waited. The store had so much tension in the air, that it cut the room with a knife. The employees seemed like they don't get along and it was obvious and you could feel it. During our time waiting, we watched an employee blow up at another one. Had another employee yell at another one a reminder about how to do their job. Additionally, we observed an employee in the corner of the store nervously eating a pizza and hastily leaving, appearing on the verge of tears. Also, watched someone put their hands in their pants while working in the open kitchen. Anticipation for our pizza diminished when we finally received it. The taste was mediocre, falling short of the standards set by other MOD Pizza locations. Unfortunately, our dining experience took a turn for the worse as both my husband and I experienced severe stomach issues later that night. Considering my husband rarely encounters such problems, it raises concerns about the hygiene practices, potentially food storage and inadequate temperature control for toppings. read more

The pizzas taste fine, and for the money, you can't find a much larger salad. I'm not sure how they run the ticket system as my friend and I ordered back-to-back orders and his was ready 10 minutes before mine. I can't imagine THAT many online orders could have snuck in between he and I reaching the register but perhaps it's possible. There seemed to be an argument going on clearly visible between two employees. One was particularly loud about it and didn't seem to care that the customers could see and hear it happen. I know MOD hires folks from every walk of life, which is why I want to support them, but no manager seemed to try to move this dispute to the back out of view of everyone quickly enough. Random shouts went on for 5-10 minutes before I could no longer see the main instigator anymore. This Issaquah Highlands location is the best. The staff are always so nice, friendly, respectful and fun to talk to. I always do "create my own" pizza. The MOD size is $11.19 ea and a 16 oz drink is $3.19. Food prices are all going up everywhere, I know. But the quality and taste of a MOD pizza keeps me going back for more! Love MOD pizza! Mod is one of the greatest pizza places you'll ever come across. At every location I've been to, with this one being no exception, the workers are all so friendly and helpful. If you want a little more of a topping put on your pizza, you just have to ask and they're happy to oblige. You get as much as you want of as many toppings as you want and it's not any extra money (or judgement). Today I received one of the most pathetic looking pizzas I have ever gotten from this location. As a gluten-free vegan, I love coming to MOD Pizza because they have great options for me. Unfortunately, todays pizza was really lacking. I honestly do not think that the olive oil was put on as my base sauce. There was about a teaspoon or maybe less of each topping I requested and at least 2 inches of crossed exposed around the circumference of the pizza itself. It was bland, and very unexciting. Seeming I get this pizza regularly, I know exactly what it should look and taste like and today it did not look or taste up to par.
