Obviously I visit this place often since I'm pretty big back I go here sometimes after soccer practice and man sometimes this McDonald's is not it. 1: when my mom asked for extra Big Mac sauce. THEY GAVE US LIKE WAY TO MUCH her whole burger was just sauce. I wish I took pictures. 2: they will never get ur order right. One time I asked for a burger and the burger I got comes with no cheese. I said, could u add cheese, they said yes, I then said no tomato, onion, or pickle THEY GAVE ME ALL OF THOSE THINGS but no cheese. Come on. Next the workers are mid sometimes they are way to nice and some times eh and the other times there mean. Most workers there are teens and I can sometimes see them goofing off in the back. They also never listen when ur in the drive thru u have to keep repeating urself over and over. And they still don't get it right. Lastly I went one time inside with my friend the bathrooms were super modern but looked like it's been AGES since it's been clean. I don't even know if they take out the trash because that garbage was FULL I could barely throw away my left over fries. Overall foods nice but it just needs to be better. read more

This is hands down the worst McDonald's in the entire Seattle area, and that's saying something. You'd genuinely be better off going to the Aurora McDonald's and expecting chaos--because somehow this place still manages to be worse. The store is run by people who should not be anywhere near a kitchen, food, or customers. I ordered dine-in, and they made it to-go, then proceeded to cram 5 burgers, 5 four-piece nuggets, and fries into ONE BAG like they were trying to destroy the food on purpose. Burgers smashed, nuggets loose, fries scattered all over the bag and already cold. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there with 7 hungry kids, watching the food just sit on the counter forever. By the time it finally came out, I was already irritated--but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was just incompetence, not malice. Then it somehow got worse. The dining area was disgusting. Employees were glued to their phones, so I had to clean my own table, bus my own food, and play employee while trying to feed my kids who were starving and losing patience after 45 minutes of waiting. When I finally brought the issue to the manager, Frida, she accused us of already eating the food. Yes--apparently my children magically ate smashed burgers that were still sitting in pieces. When I explained that my kids hadn't eaten at all because we were waiting so long, she laughed and treated the whole thing like it was a joke. No apology. No solution. Just attitude and disbelief--asking to "see the burgers" like I was lying. I asked for a food tray and was handed a drink carrier. At that point, it became clear this place is operating without basic comprehension, professionalism, or accountability. This isn't about a mistake. Mistakes happen. This is about total disrespect for customers, especially families. You don't overpack food. You don't ignore hungry kids. You don't laugh at customers. And you definitely don't run a restaurant like it's a social hangout. This location should honestly be shut down, and the manager should be removed immediately. We are staying in Issaquah due to my boyfriend's work but there is a Minecraft event going on and I saw that this was one of two locations that had the adult Minecraft meal. We made our order online and we arrived at the drive thru to tell them that we had an order. The cashier was very kind and made sure our order was correct then asked if we needed a receipt when we made it to the first window. The order took a bit longer once we arrived at the pick up window but I saw how busy it seems like, especially probably cause it was day one of the Minecraft promotion. However, we received our food and drinks almost correctly but unfortunately they gave my boyfriend unsweetened iced tea instead of his sweet tea. The soda potion also had different black specks on different parts of it which was disappointing. The food and drinks were good though. Ordered a hamburger without the meat (just lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles). When they brought the order to our table it had meat on it. Returned it and they said they would fix it. When they brought it over the second time it had cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. I didn't want cheese and they couldn't even get the vegetables correct. I had a scheduling challenge. A kid's doctor appt late in the day, scheduled long before and difficult to reschedule, was to be shortly before an evening business zoom meeting scheduled on me at the last minute. But it could work if I went straight to a McDonald's after the doctor appt, ordered dinner for us, and used their wifi for the meeting. It needed to be in the car as I don't have earbuds. The kid could bring his phone to entertain himself; I asked him and he was fine with that. This McDonald's website (5526 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy) said it had wifi. When I drove up and ordered, I asked if the wifi worked from the parking lot and they said it did. I parked in the closest parking spot and went to my phone's wifi settings to connect to the McDonald's wifi. There was no sign of their wifi. Not a peep. I've never before had that problem with this phone, even with weak signals. I doubt their wifi was on. It was too late to look for an alternative. Hands down the best McDonald's on the Eastside. It's a smaller location, but they're always fully stocked, even with ice cream. The dining area is immaculate: floors are squeaky clean, tables are spotless, and there's no lingering smell. I enjoy working here occasionally, it's quiet and comfortable. The staff are friendly, super efficient, and curbside orders arrive within seconds. Plus, the atmosphere is welcoming, with other customers creating a pleasant vibe. I don't expect too much from McDonald's, but I've been to some locations with poor service and always messing up on orders. I was in the area, so decided to stop by here and try the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich. There were about 5 cars in the drive-thru, but it moved pretty quickly. The person taking the order sounded friendly. The person at the window taking my payment didn't say a word, didn't even repeat my total. At least my order was correct. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was good, and the fries were actually not limp and soggy, although I still threw them in the air fryer when I got home. I'm in fact NOT 'loving it'. A story about a manager who couldn't be bothered to push a button, decided to be rude, lie to my face, and then laugh to her employees about the situation while I stood there. Let's talk about the woman of the hour, "I already told you my name is Karin". The manager who could host a master class in how to piss off a customer. Oh and by the way, the resturant is exceptionally nice, the food is the best in the area, and for the most part the staff is great. With exception especially for "I already told you my name it's Karin". For a company that wants me to think 'I'm living it' this woman really doesn't help set that tone. It's more of a, I'm the manager and I don't care what you want because I have the power when I'm inside this building vibe. Kinda like, the people who pull out in front of you and go 5 below the speed limit even though they could have let you pass and there isn't even any other cars behind you. So they could have waited a second to not inconvenience you. That's the type of person "I already told you my name it's Karin" is. See, I run a business. If one of my managers talked to a customer the way "I already told you my name is Karin" did - I'd have them removed from the schedule until I was able to have a coaching session. Where I can remind them that they don't get to act like a dictator and treat customers like garbage under any circumstances. Nor do they get to start the conversation off looking for a way to say "no". Everyone can have a bad day - I get that. But this person was ready and wanting to say no from the very second she walked over. This isn't management behaviour. Best part about it, she acted like a petulant child and just made lies up to enforce her will and was incredibly rude about it as well. At such a volume that even the national Mc D's customer service agent who was on the phone with me (as I was lodging my complaint) was able to hear her tone and how she was talking to me. "I already told you my name is Karin" then proceeded to walk off before I was even done with my sentience, tuck behind a divider, and laugh to another employee about the situation. As if sound doesn't travel through a slotted divider or I magically disappeared simply because she stomped away after I called her on her lies. At the end of the day I am still NOT 'loving it'. However, I hope no one else has an experience like this. I also suggest someone gets "I already told you my name is Karin" some classes on customer service until then - It's a 1 star from me simply because I can't give them less. It's a McDonalds. So if you're expecting magic, don't. I go here like once a day, because annualized it's about $1000 bucks a year vs the Same $5000 I'd spend at a Starbucks for coffee and a Diet Coke. At a buck each, for Diet Coke, ice tea or coffee, it's impossible to beat. Every McDonald's is just about the same but this one was very fast and quick even though my food wasn't ready they asked me to pull around to a reserved spot and they even gave me a free card for a cone or dessert on my next stop in because my daughters happy meal wasn't ready within 60 seconds of us ordering it. That's really good customer service if you're asking me. I only knocked it down to star because they gave me some flack about asking for extra sauce. Butter milk crispy chicken sandwich excellent, fries very soft. Ordering is slow. Usually I'm not a big fan of McDonald's. But the buttermilk chicken burger in its latest signature choices promotion is pretty good. My son loves McDonalds, probably because of indoor playground and happy meal toys. So when we got McDonald's mail-in coupon of its new signature burgers, he was pretty excited. Due to the traffic, we went to a different McDonald's than the one we usually go. The place is obviously renovated recently, with all the new chairs, table and temporary style lights. It feels more like a Starbucks. Like the big conference table in the middle, where multiple family can share. The building itself is rather small though, so the menu board at counter get limited space. And they have to move beverage station to the dining area instead of beside the counter as usual. The buttermilk chicken sandwich in their new signature choices is surprisingly delicious. The chicken is crunchy and juicy, and the artisan bun is much better than its other soft buns. It kind of reminds me of chick-fil-a burgers. I rarely say link delicious with McDonald's food. But this time I have to admit they outdone themselves. The sandwich has three flavors to choose from. Maple bacon, BBQ or guacamole. I tried the guacamole. Though it's healthy, a little bit too plain for my taste. If they makes the crispy chicken spicy that would be a great flavor. The fries, however, is kind of disappointing though. Quite soft and not the crispy crunchy kind I like. The staff was friendly, but slow in understanding my ordering though. She was patient and asking questions to confirm, but that still took quite some time. It seems happened to everyone so it's not my accent. And it's at the counter face to face. Friendly staff and outstanding hospitality. in the midst of no in house dining, the customer oriented staff at this McDonald's took full advantage of the opportunity to provide their customers a wonderful guest experience. we were asked to wait for our order in one of the stalls and waited three to four minutes until our food was delivered when the black collar man politely apologized for the wait and let us know they gave us two large fries instead of one. If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. I came in to this location and used their restrooms. The sink was clogged/slow and it looked like it had been for days. Hand soap was just set on the side of the sink. Bathroom smelled like pee. Dining area smelled like vomit and was pretty much dirty. It's like they don't even mop the dining area floors. Service was meh. The lady that helped me out was okay but didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I had to wait minutes until they finished gossiping over their headsets. One of the ladies loudly said over the headset, "Just because he has a short neck does not mean he has a big p****." Lady was laughing so hard that it sounded like crying. Mind you that this was happening by the front counter area. They also have rude comments about every single customers that goes through the drive thru. Very unprofessional. I was just at this McDonalds about 10:30pm I tried to order three sausage egg McMuffin and a order of chicken tenders. First they told me they ran out of the chicken tenders. Which is hard for me to believe since it's an important part of their menu. Then when I ordered the egg McMuffin he says let me check to see if we have any round eggs. So I said what. He comes back to say they didn't have any so I asked how long would it take to make more. He then says they couldn't make any because the machine was taken down for cleaning. Again I don't understand how they run things at McDonalds so until I learn differently I guess I should believe them. If anyone knows differently let know. read more

After a recent hike to Mailbox Peak, we stopped at Exit 17 for gas and a bite to eat. The two mandarin oranges, Clif bars, and bottles of water we had packed were not sufficient for the 9+ mile hike we had completed. We turned to McDonald's for its high caloric food options. We ordered a Turkish latte, which was so overpoweringly sweet that I was on a sugar-high as we commuted I-90 back to Seattle. Exactly the pick-me-up I needed post-hike. Service was prompt. Ordering was easy-peasy. Drink was delivered in a timely manner. I recommend this location for its service, cleanliness, friendliness of employees, and for all of your McDonald's needs. read more

This store has a terribly small, cramped and claustrophobic lobby. The bathrooms are never clean. I have gone here 3 times in the last couple weeks. We won't return. First, they never get my sandwich correct. Plain. A cheeseburger plain is not a hamburger! A double cheeseburger or McDouble plain has cheese!! Just no ketchup, mustard, dehydrated onions, or pickles! Second, McDonalds is known worldwide for their fries. You wouldn't know that at this location! Cold, stale, hard.. Either too much salt or not enough, doesn't matter, they are not edible! Third, if you don't have the item in stock, throw a sticker up that says sold out, or even better remove that translight. People won't ask for things you don't have if you don't advertise them! Fourth, slow grill!!!! I ordered two mcchickens, two double cheeseburgers and a double hamburger.. That order should never take 10 minutes to make! I worked at McDonald's for 15 years! Put the buns down, drop your meat, dress your buns, pull your meat, wrap and send out! It only takes 60 seconds to make these sandwiches! This store NEEDS new management, to be completely closed then cleaned from ceiling to floor! Some friends and I were interested in a late night night snack when we pulled into this McDonald's at 10:59PM. The hours posted are a 24 hour drive through. The customers went through and as we pulled up there was silence. We waited and were given no service, even after asking if someone was there. We pulled up, Incase we went over the service signal and as soon as we came to the first window, they turned all the lights off. Not only is this location rude but obviously does not follow their open signage. I don't know what else to say except that there are plenty of McDonald's in the area that are far more deserving of your service than this one that turned its lights off on a vehicle in the drive through. read more
