Honestly i'm really starting to get aggravated with this Panda. Everytime I place an online order, I request teriyaki sauce to have with my teriyaki chicken.... IT DOESNT HAPPEN! I don't want to eat dry chicken, it doesn't even make sense. My question is why make a special request box on your online page but then doesn't even give what is requested. This location is more convenient from my place but now I have to travel further to lindale mall I tried and tried again at this location but either the employee is short with me or very difficult to understand. When we showed up there was a line of people ordering that walked in and was served their food asap. This panda used to be very good. Now when you order the pick up time is always wrong and when you try to get someone's attention in the store they are on there cell or ignore you. Panda Express has disappointed me on several occasions, but tonight was just awful. I went through the drive through and ordered a bowl with a side of cream cheese rangoons. The girl that was taking my order said, in a very displeasing tone, that they were out. I then said not to worry about it and then she said, in the same displeasing tone, that they actually did have some. I then drove up to the window and she just held her hand out without saying a word to me, indicating she wanted my card so I handed it to her. She then handed me my food and still did not say a word. I don't understand how disrespectful one person can be. Then, to top things off, my food was cold and two out of three of the rangoons had NO cream cheese filling in it. Mixed veggies are always good. I do wonder why it's called mushroom chicken when I never get any mushrooms. Not one! Should be called zucchini chicken. There's always plenty of zucchini in there! Employees are always very friendly and my food is always hot. Portions are a little on the small side but it is delicious so I don't mind too much. I will continue my quest for mushrooms in the mushroom chicken, hoping maybe some day I will find one. First time eating at a stand-alone Panda Express. Just like the mall, the food is pre-made and ready when you come in. They seem to make in small enough batches that things get turned over quickly so nothing looks like the overcooked and grey-like entrees at most Hy-Vee Chinese Express at 2:00. Even though I stopped in for a late lunch the items all looked fairly fresh. I had the 2-entree plate and went with the safe Kung Pao chicken (good even re-heated) which had a decent spice to it and flavorful veggies to compliment the chicken. The star was the Bejing Beef which was surprisingly good. The "crunchy" beef reminded me of my all time favorite Ginger Crispy Beef from Sushi House. Ok, not of the same quality but very tasty none-the-less. In general I have come to like panda express however the last two times I personally have gone they are always out of something. First of what kind of Chinese food place runs out of rice and crab ragoons. A friend of mine has also gone to this particular site numerous times and they are always out of at least one thing she has gone there for. The food is good however I just don't understand running out of key things on the menu on any given day. And I will point out our visits have been sporatic too not always late at night sometimes during the day and so forth. Don't bother! My kids love rice, so I thought it would be an easy win - drive through at 11:30 on a Saturday and half their menu wasn't ready yet. I was told it would be 10-20 minutes before any shrimp, brown rice, or breaded chicken options would be ready (including the featured shrimp item). No milk or juice options for the kids meals, and I couldn't tell which items were spicy and which were not (apparently orange chix is spicy!). After telling me none of my first 4 choices would be ready for a while, and me making compromises to meals the kids would most likely not like, there was no effort whatsoever to compensate with a complimentary item or explain the problem.
