I've been coming to Panda Linn for quite a while, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic -- you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. On the way through town and through Google search and reviews went here. There are three tables inside. Let me first say they were very friendly and said hi right away and took our orders. Food very good. I would get this take out all the time if I lived there. The one downside as another reviewer said is not very clean. I got wet paper towels from restroom and wiped the table down as it had grease remnants from last person. The restroom needs a serious cleaning. There is a full size ladder in there, that is what the toilet paper sits on a rung. Which is what they have been stepping on with their shoes! The sink and toilet were not clean. There is also a storage tub on wheels in there with a giant pack of toilet paper sitting in it. Taking up room. Two wall soap dispensers, one must be broken and is black with dirt. No note on it so one tries that one first. It should be removed. The second one itself the outer soap dispenser is also black and very dirty. A little soap came out. The door is very hard to shut. The light switch is covered in built up dirty grime. Basic restaurant rules is if the bathroom is clean they keep the kitchen clean. I am hoping the owners read this and get the restroom cleaned and scrubbed. It certainly gave me pause to try the food but we had already ordered. Like I said the food was great, crab Rangoons were great. It's hard to say it was just this day because the build up in the restroom was more than a few months worth. You know how some of the best food comes from hole in the wall places? We searched Yelp for Chinese as we were driving through Cedar Rapids and Panda Lin had the top review. It's obviously mostly takeout but there are 3 tables for dine-in. The service was friendly and fast. They served large portions at an inexpensive price point. We had 3 entrees for less than $30 with leftovers. My husband went back to buy a four pack of almond cookies and the guy gave them to him for free! We had hit and sour soup, shrimp mei fun and sweet and sour pork. They were all excellent. I would give five stars but I would have liked a little more attention to the dine-in experience. But we will definitely pick some up next time we go through CR. read more

I've only eaten here a handful of times and they were great but recently I stopped in to get some chicken wings, which are my favorite and come to find out when I get home and started to eat the wings. I realized that the wings were refried, meaning they were fried once and then fried again which is unacceptable. If I'm paying my hard earned money, I want fresh food. Not able to dine in, only pick up, unsure if they have delivery, did not ask. Parking is poor to say the least. Not the cleanest place you will find. The food, I'm not sure where to start. The fried rice smelled so yummy, but not near as much flavor. The sesame chicken had a good flavor but needed more sauce. The beef with pea pods was very much lacking any flavor, and not much sauce. The steamed and fried dumplings were tasty, and the crab Rangoons were good. One perk that was nice was if your order gets done rior to the time frame they tell you at oder time, they call you, which is nice. Good size portions, the price is pretty average. Crouching vegetables, hidden chicken I ordered Kung Po chicken (yes, that is how it was spelled on the menu). I expected some nice battered and fried chicken with a spicy sauce and maybe a few vegetables. What I got was an enormous pile of celery and peanuts, bathed in a soy based sauce that wasn't spicy at all, and had to dig through it to find a few small pieces of unbattered chicken scattered throughout. My big concern is that this item was not even labeled in the menu as containing peanuts. Went in for lunch today around 1230. It wasn't busy at all, only one other person in there. It's a small place, I think it had about 7 tables to sit at. While sitting there, I did notice they received a lot of delivery orders. You order from the counter and then sit yourself. I was greeted immediately by a friendly staff member and handed a menu to look over. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli with the garlic sauce and two spring rolls. It came out in a timely manner and looked great. They both were fresh and hot. Everything about both the spring rolls and my entree tasted great! If I had to pick one complaint, I'd say they used a bit much of the spice for my liking, but it was still very good! It's located in a quite neighborhood and pretty easy to find and get to. I would recommend ordering take out versus dine in as their dining room is very tiny and very simple. I ordered the lunch beef with broccoli, wonton soup and an order of steamed dumplings. The dumpling portion was huge: 8 dumplings for $5. They were decent. The wonton soup was a chicken broth base with homemade wontons and also decent, a little bland. The beef with broccoli was adequate - again, a little bland. The beef was tender and broccoli was cooked well. I would have liked everything on the menu to have more flavor: garlic or scallions. I saw on their website they deliver within a five mile radius of their location - which is a huge plus considering not many restaurants do. Overall, this is a great spot to grab your lunch to go and not spend more than $6! Give it a try if you are in the area. read more

Orange chicken was delicious and contained the perfect amount of tangy sauce and broccoli. The Hunan Chicken was very flavorful, and contained plenty of meat. We just had them again and can say with authority that they are the best Chinese delivery in our area. They are fairly quick, even on the weekends. They are courteous, both on the phone and at the door. The food is fresh and hot always. The wife can't stop talking about the Wonton Soup. This happens every time she orders it and it's still like the first time. Every. Time. I personally really like their Hot & Spicy soup as well. You wouldn't think soup would be difficult, but these guys top the others in this category. Cashew Chicken and General Tso's are both good here too. A surprise to me: the wife actually likes the fried rice, which isn't normal for her. I prefer less peas (read: no peas), but yup; it's good rice. The egg rolls are pretty "meh" in our opinion. Let's get into it: First off, you can't beat the price, especially with the portions they give you. We ordered Mongolian beef, orange peel chicken, chicken fried rice and some of their donuts for after. All of that and it was under 30 bucks. Secondly, the food taste really good.
