This was by far the worst panda express I've ever been to, in my life, first off the woman who is taking her order told us to be quiet about four times while we were in the middle of talking to trying to tell her our order finally when she was ready to take her order, she was rushing us through it and then said pull up to the next window, we had forgotten to order one of our items. When we explained this to her she said well that's too bad you're just gonna have to go round the line again and when we asked if there was a manager, she said no there's no manager just myself, Sonia I am the shift change leader, and then another woman who was helping at the front also was extremely rude, telling us that we were being rude by holding up the line by asking about our order which they took incorrectly in the first place, and had the rudeness to be rushing us through taking our order because they are understaffed or whatever shorthanded I don't know just being slow regardless the customer service there sucks, and I would not recommend it to anyone read more

Got there exactly at 9:30 pm / when they close. Not only was everything fresh and amazing.. they were not upset that I was walking in.. because there were 4 cars in drive thru. They continued to take all orders and provided samples and great customer service! read more

Went to this Panda Express a while back and will never go again. I had the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life. For two days straight I felt as if I was being punched in the stomach every few minutes. I couldn't leave the house because I couldn't be away from a nearby toilet. Easily the worst fast food experience I have ever had. I went to pick up a rather large order and they gave me one bag. When I asked if that was it they very rudely told me that it was. When I got home sure enough, it was only half of the order. I went back and no one seemed to know what was going on and they were still rude about it. read more

We came in to grab some to go food that would be quick and not so fast foodish. When we came in we were the only one's in line and we were greeted quickly. I struggled to decide what to order and especially because the things that I did want looked like they had been in the bowls for a while and were almost empty. I asked about how long it would be to get some fresh shanghai angus steak and the girl told me it would be about 5 minutes but, since we were in a hurry I decided to get the beijing beef instead with the string bean chicken breast and a side of fried rice. We ordered the last 5 egg rolls that were in the bowl and an order of crab rangoon with sweet and sour sauce. After she had already bagged the egg rolls and was getting ready to cash us out she said oh sorry you can only have 3 of them because I need to give the other two to someone who has been waiting longer. I just stood there and started and my friend asked well how long until fresh ones come out? He received a response of 7 minutes and once again we were in a hurry so we just added some spring rolls to the order, paid and left. Had a have known we were going to wait for egg rolls then I would have just waited for the fresh shanghai angus steak dish since we ended up being in there for a good 20 minutes. We took our food to go so there shouldn't have been a reason for such a long wait and I think it just comes down to poor food preparation planning. The only high point is that the portion sizes are good but, the food was just ok and wasn't as good as it normally is and the crab rangoons were mushy on the outside where the filling was so, they had been sitting there for a while. read more

Watch out for this one everybody. My grandchildren wanted Chinese late yesterday so my daughter went thru the drive thru first. They took our order and then......she left us there to eat inside while she had to go run an errand and my grandchildren needed to go to the restroom. OMG! Tampon rolls all over the floor, A huge Roach running all over in there! Paper Towel roller broken. It was just nasty. Yep its a review of the Panda and my experience wasn't all that bad. I got the first scoops from a new container fo fried rice so that was a good start. I then carefully looked at everything on the service line and picked the two freshest looking items. The employees were surprisingly friendly and even offered samples and suggestions along the way. I don't remember exactly what I got but the food was all fairly decent and large portions. Although past experiences haven't been so great I would actually eat here again. Expecting authentic Chinese food from Panda Express is like expecting a gourmet burget from McDonalds so take it for what it is. read more

This Panda Express is the WORST one I've ever been to. The staff is very uncoordinated and rude! If you ask me, they should be a little bit more courteous knowing they work a low minimum wage job. The girl in the speaker was rude and rushed me through my order...a bit strange being that the drive thru and lobby was as DEAD as a door knob. Now I see why no one was there. Poor customer service. She was so rude that I cancelled my order and asked for my cc back. She tried holding it hostage! The district manager needs to do some serious evaluations of the immigrants thay theu have working in this location. If they dont make any changes soon, this location is going to lose ALOT of business. Prompt friendly service. Seems to be pretty consistent with all Panda locations. Fresh food. Good pricing. My lunch time go-to when I'm in the area. My order was given incorrectly one time. Didn't notice till I got back to work. They gladly replaced my entire meal the next day despite the fact that I had already thrown out my receipt. I'll continue to eat here. read more

This is an example of finally going into one of those places that you pass and say. "I'm going to eat there one day". That day was last Saturday 5/26/12. Having heard wonderful things about Panda Express, I went in wanting to be wowed. The display of the food appeared to be almost "cafateria-ish" and while the food was warm, it was not fresh off the grill ( or WOK if you prefer). The taste of the food ( Panda Beef and Mushroom Chicken) were okay, but nothing more than that. The additional ( as in $1.25 additional) was dried out and not very tasty. While everything was edible, it was unremarkable, except for the price. A Two entree meal with medium drink and eggroll comes to exactly $10. I accept this amount as the average for a fast food meal anywhere, However, as far a "bang for the buck" one is much better off having the Chinese buffet down the street at "Chopsticks" or make the trip to Capital Plaza and partaking at the "Buffet King:" read more

The people at this store are horrible employees. They messed up my partner's order then they "fixed" it. When we got home they had not put some of the items we had ordered. I called and they lady who answered was super uninformed and unprofessional. I asked for a manager and they just passed the phone to some random dude who hung up on me. What kind of service is this? 1st thing 1st, I know this is fast food. I have certain expectations even for fast food. Panda Express doesn't even meet those expectations. Right off the bat, this is not express anymore than any chinese buffet would be. It is counter service with no menu on the wall, and the part of the counter that you order at only has the noodles, rice and one or two entrees. The rest of the entrees are around the corner of this counter, so you really dont know the extent of what they have till you start ordering which slows down the line. Gourmet it is really not (their signs says chinese gourmet). This is no better than any other run of the mill corner chinese restaurant. Soup and eggroll are not included. They serve on paper plates with those little divider things, and they placed the rice in the large section and your entrees in the small little sections so you end up with a lot of side after your entrees are done. And no chopsticks...sorry, I like to eat chinese food with chopsticks. Food was eh, not great. I can honestly say my Panda Express experiment and experience is over. I just dont see what you get at this place that you cant get at a self serv buffet at about the same price. read more

Extremely poor customer service! I went there to try the Samurai Surf and Turf at 1:15 p.m. and was told they were out of shrimp! Wow! Lunch had not started that long ago and you're out of an item already?????? Ok. But that's not all. They had 6 people fixing orders and NO ONE at the register so you could pay for your food. So there was this long line of food just piling up and getting COLD!!! Not only that, don't ask for a sample, you might get your feelings hurt. Talk about disappointment...I like the convenience of this location to work yet even that does not supplement for their demeanor...Now into selective greeting of some customers and not all and also waiting more than three minutes to even acknowledge a customer in line to place an order is beyond ill-mannnered customer service. I had seen this before, when a handicapped customer had waited patiently to even have his order taken or acknowledged and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt...very unprofessional and unprofessional! Second chance, this past Friday and I was the recipient of no welcoming greeting from the female workers behind the counter. Throughout the meal; I did notice that once there was a male worker-he did make it a point to greet everyone coming into the restaurant (even the lady that only brought her kids into the bathroom) and it did make a more pleasant environment. This definitely has added to my lessened interest in coming in again to this location. So sad; since this is so close to work. This is one of the worst in Austin. The staff changes regularly and none of them speak English as a first language as expected. Be prepared to always wait because they run out of everything. My trusted friends told me this was the best PE they've ever been to so I thought I'd give them a second chance. The other night might have been an anomaly. Since it's close and I'm in the mood for Chinese from a kitchen I can observe, I thought I'd stop one last time. Apparently my friends have lower standards than I thought.its 9:00 p.m. It's not rush hour. Floor is I. Need of a sweep, although it's not as bad as the other night. I walked up and started ordering my dishes so I felt committed. I should have quit while I was ahead. They are out of Orange Chicken so they are cooking more. I'm hoping it's at least warm when I get it. I could almost use the fried rice as a cold compress. Dr Pepper is OUT. Major foul. The PE did that to me once and I've never been back. I'm so done with these smiling people and their iIll-managed restaurant. I'll stay at Holiday Inn Midtown anytime, but Panda Express, you are dead to me. It's not personal. It's just business. Not a Panda Express expert but I do love Chinese food and this was subpar at best. Looks like there is always a wait to place an order.I waited for food that had run out like the fried rice. That is a side staple come on how do you run out of rice. Then the chow mien I got was had burnt noodles in it. It was like bad tex mex for Mexican food. The worst was the tea. Usual Asian restaurants do very well with tea since it is a Chinese beverage. But it was horrible. So in general I won't be headed to another Panda Express any time soon. read more

I enjoyed their honey walnut shrimp on a Sunday evening where there was no line at the drive thru and hardly any wait time. The food was good for the price and the large drink size was definitely sized right. The location isn't in the best of areas, but at the time of arrival, it didn't seem too "bad". The fried rice was great, but probably overly greasy to others. The grilled teriyaki chicken was not at the least appetizing. It was more burnt than anything. The one thing i noticed is the portions were much larger than i anticipated.
