It's a good fast and reliable option for a quick build-your-own-plate meal. I usually get japchae noodles or brown rice and either spicy chicken or beef. Their kimchi is pretty good so it's worth asking for extra here. This particular location isn't normally busy, but, when they're, the line moves somewhat fast.

This deserves five stars for the workers there who were so kind and generous when serving me yesterday. They truly went above and beyond. As for they food, I love that you can do make-your-own-tacos with some great ingredient choices, and I think the toasted sesame seeds are a game changer. Make sure you add those at the end for a perfect finish! I went with a flour tortilla, Korean beef, spinach, grilled vegetables, and spicy ranch, with tortilla strips and toasted sesame seeds, and I think that was a great combination. But they have lots of choices to make it your own, so it's fun to experiment. The interior is pretty small so I'd probably take food to go normally, but there are a few small tables so it's fine for a quick lunch too. Give it a try and you might get hooked!

This place is one of my favorite quick pick me ups! Parking is plentiful and the service is quick. It's an experience where you can quickly go down the line and create or modify your meal. I chose the carnitas bowl with slight modifications, but it was so delicious!! The flavor is bursting out of the bowl. But it has healthy toppings as well. The food is fresh. The people are friendly. And the serving is plentiful! If you are looking to a quick meal that combines flavor and nutrients in 1 place, I highly recommend coming here! I usually take mine to go, but I have dined here one and the environment is quiet and relaxing!

I really enjoyed my food! This was my first time trying Chi'Lantro and I savored every bite. I had the b'bimbap. My food came out hot and tasted very flavorful and fresh. Fortunately, the wait wasn't very long despite an egg being cooked to order with my plate. I heard the kimchi fries are really good so I will have to give that a try during my next visit!

Love spicy pork rice bowl! Their kimchi fries portions have gotten a little smaller so not as worth it but will always love their bowls!

I've always been a fan of the kimchi fries at chilantro and recently I decided to try out their bowls. I got a tofu bowl and I thought it was a really good alternative to the fries. While the fries are great, sometimes I want a more proper/less greasy meal and this was perfect! I went pretty heavy on the topping and I was pretty impressed, especially with the sauces which were definitely needed to give the bowl some more flavor. I definitely like the kimchi fries more but I'll order this from time to time when I feel like something a little less greasy. Tips: - For the base you can do half and half so you get both noodles and rice - Both the magic sauce and spicy ranch are really good, I would recommend getting both (either on top or on the side) -The tortilla chips add a really nice crunch to the bowl

If you like Korean food with a chipotle style ordering, this spot is for you! You decide what base you want, what protein, and then why toppings and sauces. It was so delicious and all the workers were so kind and efficient with our food. We sat outside at one of their many tables and really enjoyed our dinner that night!

I went to Chi'Lantro a couple of years ago, and I got to say I didn't like it very much. I decided to go in and try it out today, give it a second chance, and it did not disappoint. I was helped out by Sofia, she gave great customer service. She help me decide what I should get by describing the options really well, and giving me her favorite recommendations. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The space is very neat, clean, and suitable for a quick stop lunch. I've been to the restaurants next-door, but I got to say this spot just became one of my favorites! The menu is very well put together. They only except card, no cash. They even include an allergen list by the very entrance, so that you know what you can, or cannot eat if you have any allergies. Super helpful.

Highly recommend this place. We didn't get there til 930 since we went after a basketball game so count get japchae noodles so I got the B'bimbap. So delicious!!! The marinated meat was so delicious in the mix of brown rice corn fried egg cabbage and black beans. They have delicious sauces to add as well. Since I left I have been wanting to go there again . It's really that delicious! The service was great. It's a fast food vibe but great food. I will be back!!! Went back yesterday to get the japchae. Omg I love this place. I feel like I am eating healthy with all the veggies I have them put on. I have had the marinated beef both times. So delicious and always have some for the next day.

This place was a nice pleasant surprise! The wings were delicious - nice and crispy, but also saucy & juicy. The spicy ranch on the size balanced nicely with the spicy Korean wing sauce. Highly recommend if you want yummy food, fast!

As a…read moreKorean American who's spent a lifetime eating great Korean food at home and in restaurants, my standards are high. That said, this was easily the best Korean meal I've had in Austin, and honestly, it might be the best I've had in Texas. The soondubu arrived absolutely piping hot. I ordered the mushroom version, and it was packed with a wide variety of mushrooms rather than just a few token pieces. Even when ordered spicy, the broth still had incredible depth and flavor that wasn't just heat for the sake of heat. The tteokbokki was addictive. We ended up adding cheese and ramen, which took it to another level. The marinated kalbi was equally impressive: high-quality meat with very little fat and generous portions. The banchan was also top-tier. Standouts included the soy-glazed potatoes, fresh kimchi, and japchae. They also serve purple rice, which has a wonderful chewy texture and feels like a more thoughtful alternative to standard white rice. The food alone would bring me back, but the service was excellent as well; friendly, attentive, and efficient. We came for an early dinner and got seated right away, but if you're planning to come during peak dinner hours, expect a wait. The locals clearly know this place is something special. Huge parking lot and the dining area is bright and airy, even playing the world cup games. Seems to be very family friendly.

The cold noodles had a great taste, but were not served with any accompaniment except some ginger. The six pieces of galbi we ordered included one piece that was purely gristly and bone. We had a pretty uncomfortable table wedged between a large family dinner and the server station, blocked from the windows by a giant wall.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Korean food with genuinely exceptional hospitality, this is the place. It has officially become a must-visit every time I'm in Austin.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

Parking is decently okay, my only complaint is the spaces are small and I don't have a big car, just a 4-door sedan and it barely fit in the spot. So if you have a big car or a nice one, I would recommend parking a bit further away and just walking to the restaurant. I am going to focus more on the cooked items as most people here already gave their review on the sushi. Hangover ramen, not too bad. It is like Shin Ramen Instant Noodles with a lighter flavor, nice touch with the bean sprout as it is a needed texture element. Add the gyoza into it and it makes it even better. Cucumber salad, not bad at all. It is missing a bit of spice to it. A touch of chili oil on it would kick this dish up a bit. It is refreshing and a must at the table. Truffle fries, please skip this. No salt on the fries if you are okay with it. It is just a bit of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It is lacking in flavor. Yaki Udon, skip this as well. Not sure if it was just the day I went but the sauce was not so great. It was this sweet and sour taste but it was swimming on the bottom of the bowl like the sauce was poured on top of it at the end instead of being stir-fried into it in a wok or a pan. The first few bites are okay but the bottom half is just swimming in that sauce. Spicy Pork Bulgogi, decent size overall, not too bad. I would order like kimchi rice to eat with it next time if I come back. I do wish it was a bit more charred just to give it a bit of a textual element to it. also another thing to note, the bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door to it.
