This place is so lovely. Everyone is kind and thoughtful. They got cool window cleaner that makes lovely drawings out of scrubby scrubby soap. There are light bulb hot water containers. The whipped cream on the pancakes are so good. These are the greatest hashbrowns I have ever had. I eat a lot of hashbrowns and these are my favorite. McDonald's Dennys hashbrowns and ihop are Ok but Pancake Haus hashbrowns are in freaking sane.

Went at 8:00 am on a Wed by myself. Sign said to seat myself. Was not very busy Waitress was not friendly at first and seemed very annoyed when the first thing I asked about was their gluten-free options. Perhaps it was because she didnt really seem to know which was odd since she seemed like she had worked there for a long time. She was guessing when I said "I assume the buckwheat pancakes are gluten-free" and obviously had no intention of finding out from her tone and body language. I did not feel like pressing her so skipped it. She did say that many GF customers order the Grated Potato Pancakes so I ordered those since they seemed safe. She somehow got a little friendlier as the experience went on The pancake was not that great. I tried it by itself, with salt and with syrup thinking that in theory it would be good but no. The scrambled eggs (a la cart) were just barely across the line making them just ok. Nothing here made me want to come back for "just hardly ok" food so I would say to keep looking.

Side of biscuits and gravy, that came with crab omelet (beyond cold)

Upon entering, noisy. Took about 5 minutes to acknowledge and seated. Hostess was less than stellar. Waitress, however, was fantastic. My coffee cup was never empty. Interior is dated, clientele seems older, a place my granny would enjoy. They do charge 1$ for a side of salsa. I wasn't told, but I saw it on my bill. Quick place to grab a late brunch. DMV tags are next door. Parking is decent. I would not ever order the biscuits/gravy side again. The omelet, I definitely would.

I really don't think five stars is enough damage. They ordered in the service that I got. What is the best way for me to start any morning of my life. I've never had Lindenberry preserves before, but if you order the Swedish pancakes, you'll get some meat with the butter... Instant heaven. But I'm at was perfectly portions in Cambridge by side of sourdough toast. Be sure to add lots of butter though, because I love the flavor of butter which is why bread is just simply a means of delivering it lol. I would say this is probably one of the best breakfasts that I've had in a long time I can't recommend them enough. The service is quick if you want a breakfast that's made perfectly with good ingredients and absolutely delicious? Then you'll go here

Great breakfast and customer service this morning. The restaurant was very busy and it was my first time here. Awesome ambience. I enjoyed the Edmonds Summer Market after breakfast. Food is very reasonable. Tasted great. I highly recommend this restaurant for pancakes especially . They serve lunch and breakfast. Hours 6a-2p. Very clean inside. Restrooms are clean.

Great for an all-day breakfast place. Could use an update on the inside (aesthetically), but that food and prices are great.

Street parking only, but if you're open to a walk, downtown Edmonds tends to have ample parking around the area. When busy, they do provide a buzzer that has a short range, but opens up the opportunity of walking around slightly. Items can be a bit pricey, but they're also very filling. Large space, lots of chatter, and friendly service. Number Three Combo Club - we wanted waffles this time but also bacon and sausage. This was the variety pack we desired, though wish it came with both sausage and bacon! Opted for the bacon and it was thick, fatty, and delicious. One waffle cut into the four quadrants, ready to soak up syrup. Simple, but a classic. Chunky Monkey Pancakes - goofy perhaps, but another timeless classic combo of chocolate and bananas. Three chocolate chip pancakes, fluffy and ready to absorb the Nutella drizzle. Could have a few more chocolate chips embedded for a more balanced spread, but the chocolate drizzle helps spread flavor. Bananas for the healthy balance of course.

That said, we waited nearly an hour for a table for our party of six. They sat us in a booth, clearly designed for 4. A large metal bar sits on the edge of the booth just under the fabric, but there isn't a way to avoid sitting on it when crammed in. OK, it's very uncomfortable, but so be it. The check comes, the (excellent) server graciously separates the bill for us which I appreciate. She added a 20% gratuity which I understand for large parties. However, I did some basic math and recognized they add the tip amount and then charge tax on the bill plus the tip. I pointed this out to the server but she was clearly too busy to do anything about it. While for our table, it's not a ton of money, over time and who knows how many tables, this is, in my opinion a massive and unacceptable mistake.

The menu has classy options and is rather understated, which is a relief. [I positively despise the Cheesecake Factory model of long menu of items with small variations on the same boring narrow band of ingredients -- which taste roughly all the same...marketing to a customer base with limited palates is all kinds of unappetizing!] Here, in addition to more reasonable portion sizes than the Cheesecake Factory, the menu choices are delectable and artful. Each crumpet topping or combination demonstrates care and good cultural taste. I had the savory pesto, ricotta, and tomato...it was adroitly put together on a plate. I wolfed it down at the outdoor seating patio with my fingers. An off-the-street enclave of restaurants, pubs, and ice-cream shops is a nice setting -- albeit a bit too concrete and too hot in summer. I will be returning to this open-kitchen, informal, tea and crumpets shop for more of their menu...

All were good but i liked mine the best. There r a few seats inside and outside and they offer coffee and non-ceremonial matcha and lemonade fizz drinks as well. I would def come here again to eat some more crumpets!

We came here again a couple days later because our first visit was so good!…read more It was a little less busy when we went this time, so we were able to park in their lot, which is convenient! This restaurant is perfect for dogs since they have a covered patio! It's comfortable but not super casual, making for a delightful ambiance. I like that you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. The servers are kind and make sure to take care of you! To drink, I had their special lavender mocha, iced. You first taste the chocolate and then a hint of lavender. The mango mule and strawberry basil spritzer are delicious drinks too. To eat, we had the pulled pork sandwich, the blue burger, and the lamb burger. The burgers were cooked nicely and were flavorful. The pulled pork is tender and tasty! My favorite part of the dish is the fries--if you're a French fry fiend, make sure to come here and get their fries! We'll definitely continue to come back to Blackbird for lunch!

You get your own water, napkins, utensils, etc. Ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Fish Tacos. They were both really good!! The fish was cooked perfectly- hot and fresh. And the sandwich had great flavor and the chicken was cooked well. The service fell short for us. We ordered drinks which didn't come out until our food did -- which was almost a 25 minute wait. When the food did come out, I was brought the wrong meal and had to wait longer. For me, the prices are also a little steep for the portion sizes and also not having a server. Luckily the taste of the food was great! We sat outside -- which was nice patio area. There were also a handful of tables inside but they were all full.

There had to have been a pound of pasta, which was ok because it was delicious the next day too. We were a party of six - 4 adult and 2 five year old boys. We picked the place under the assumption that the kids can get pasta and it would be a peaceful lunch for us adults. We realized after being seated that they do a different brunch menu on the weekends (which has no pasta at all) and were caught a little off guard due to our own oversight - no fault of the restaurant at all. We got the boys sandwiches (Sausage & Egg Breakfast Sandwich) off the kids brunch menu but lunch was far more chaotic than we had imagined. My only point in sharing this is, if you have picky toddlers who like their staples, especially hooked on pasta - just visit outside the brunch hours. Us adults got the below and everything was delicious. Very large portion sizes and it would have been wise to share in hindsight but nonetheless good food. 1. Avocado Toast 2. Tomato Bruschetta 3. Chicken Fried Chicken & Polenta There are only 2 dedicated spots for parking for this restaurant which can be grab to grab but there is plenty of street parking which can also be challenging during peak weekend hours. So bake in a little time to arrive early if you have made a reservations. Staff is wonderful and service is quick.

We started with the dumplings and ahi tacos, and both were outstanding. Every dish felt especially intentional -- not just the presentation, but in the way the flavors were built. Nothing felt random or overdone. Everything was thoughtful, balanced, and genuinely delicious. But the real showstopper was the El Jefe tacos. These were made with wagyu steak, and then topped off with bone marrow that you scrape onto the tacos yourself, which took them to another level entirely. Rich, savory, decadent, and completely unforgettable -- easily the most insane tacos I have ever had. We finished with the lilikoi crème brûlée, which was the perfect ending to the meal -- creamy, bright, and memorable without being overly heavy. The ambience made the whole experience even better. Bar Dojo has such a cozy, welcoming feel inside -- warm, intimate, and comfortable without feeling too formal. It's the kind of place that feels nice enough for a special dinner, but still relaxed enough that you can actually settle in and enjoy yourself. HUGE credit to Chef Luis Brambila and the team at Bar Dojo. The whole meal felt creative, intentional, and executed with serious skill. The fact that my only picture is an empty plate should tell the whole story -- the food was just too good to wait. Don't let your taste buds miss out!
