I've been having my mani/pedis done at Pampered Nails for 2 & a half years now, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It is obvious Wendy takes pride in her work. She is always patient when I take forever to choose a color (there are so many to choose from!!). I appreciate her attention to detail, & I'm always amazed at how she makes my hands look brand new every time. Kim gives the best foot massages & is always cheerful. Found this place per my friend's recommendations. This place is super clean and they have a wide range of polish colors. I loved that they offered SNS powder which is great for my brittle nails vs gel polish. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Wendy did a fantastic job on my hands. She was super fast and detailed with the design I requested. There was a second lady that was doing my toes. I was in and out of the place within an hour! With so many nail salon options near me, I am pretty picky with who touches my nails. Hi Yelp friends! I came into Pampered Nails and was taken care of by a lovely woman named Wendy and I just adore my nails. Been here a few times already and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I get the dip powder done on my nails which is meant to be long lasting like a gel polish without the UV lamp. You do not have to wait for them to dry either and they are meant to be strong like acrylics with less damage to the natural nail. I got metallic nails and I kid you not they were out of this world! The only reason I changed them is because my nails grow like wildfire (3 weeks, no problem)! I've been seeing Wendy and Tai at their Palms location for about 4 years now and still made the trek from El Sereno to the Westside when I moved to the Eastside over a year ago. Their work is definitely WORTH the traffic. I was THRILLED when I discovered that they had opened a location closer to me in Arcadia. I went here thinking I was going to get pampered and when and and got disappointed. The lady who did my eyebrows messed up my eyebrows they tried to tell me because I had curly eyebrows which is not true any time I've had my eyebrows done I've never had a problem. The wax was hot. I've been going to the westside location for years and was ecstatic to find out Wendy and Tai opened a location near my parents' home. As a new mom, it's important to have people who are dependable, quick, and thorough.  With an appointment, I'm able to be in and out in an hour with a fresh new gel manicure and pedicure. Absolutely the worst gel I had. Not even, ugly color and Chipped the day after. Very dirty environment with a lot of flies. The flies may rest in your face or hand. Too disgusting! Dirty tools, even other people's skin is on it before the Vietnamese woman use the tool for me. Hopefully no HIV. Highly doubt if they have license. So disgusting! Wendy is amazing. I'm very particular about certain things and nails are definitely one of them. She does all kinds of designs that I request for Sharkweek, Halloween, Christmas, and etcs and she makes them look fabulous. She knows how shape my nails best and her gel nails seem to last longer then most other places too. I decided to try a new nail place and looked for somewhere that does SNS. I found this place on yelp and saw the hours as 9:30 to 6. I went in at 9:57 and the door was locked luckily the in house barber was there and he let me in saying that they would be there at 10. I waited another 10 minutes or so and still no one was there besides him. He was very nice and i appreciate him trying but why would you advertise being open at 9:30 ? By the time i left and tried to go to my regular nail salon, they were already busy so I was unable to get ny nails done. I had to start my day and unfortunately due to false info, pampered nails made me waste my morning. read more

I really wanted to like this place but... I came here in the beginning of Oct to have wendy fix my nail shape and change the color. They came out nice so I decided to return. I returned on sat Oct 27th for a fill and a pedi. The pedi was horrible. I didnt get the lady's name who did the pedi. Wendy did my full set acrylic and gel. Most of my nails are crooked and missing paint. None of the nails have the same shape they are all different it also took way to long for the full set to be put on. I spent 90 dollars with tip for mediocre work. I now have to pay someone else to fix the mistakes that were made. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because they are nice and its clean here.
