The atmosphere at Paloma Suerte is fantastic. The Mrs. and I sat on the patio on a perfect day and really enjoyed it. The salsa and bean dip was solid but the guacamole particularly hit the spot today. I had the cheddar cheese and charred onion enchiladas and they were very good. It comes with a cilantro salad on top that made the flavor really pop. My lovely bride had the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp which she really enjoyed. We had no drinks today, but next time I will try their house marg!

Wow! Solid food here! We had a group of 6 here for brunch and we had a great meal here. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a taco and a kids meal with quesadilla. I must have mis-spoke because they gave my kiddo an enchilada vs a quesadilla but the waiter was nice enough to say it was his mistake (although my group said it was definitely me). The guacamole was really flavorful as well as the queso. Both were great starters! The atmosphere was fun and authentic and this place is hidden amongst the stockyards. All in all I'd definitely come back here!

When we walked in the place looked pretty worn. The chairs are ripped up and falling apart, floor unswept, food on the booth seat. There was a chip laying on a clean table ready for customers. We ordered drinks and queso appetizer. The drinks were ok, but nothing to write home about. We ordered a watermelon ranch water and a frozen margarita. The queso was actually really good, but the chips they served were wet- soaked with oil- and just crumbles left of chips. We asked if they had any other chips and the waiter said- no they all look like that. We paid and left without ordering entrees. I expected more from a Tim Love restaurant! 100% would never return or recommend.

Location: Tucked behind Second Rodeo and Tannehills in Mule Alley over in the Stockyards. Service (5/5): The service was great for the first time trying this place out. Our server was on point with getting our food and drinks out as well as checking up on anything we may have needed. Food (5/5): I was surprised by the food. I usually stay away from Tex-Mex spots but the food left an impression on me. I'll have to go back try out a few other items. The Paloma pitcher was on points as well the rest of the drinks.

We visited Paloma de la Suerte yesterday with our family. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. The food was good, although some dishes seemed a little oily. Overall, we had a good experience.

This Tex-Mex restaurant was just OK, no wow factor here. Their queso was runny and lacked flavor, their brisket stuffed jalapeños was ok except the stuffing was more of a "brisket" sauce, not actual brisket pieces. Their beef quesadillas were actually very good, they used fajita beef pieces that had great fajita seasoning taste.

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday night, This was our third stop of the night. It wasn't too packed, so we grabbed seats at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and recommended some drinks. We tried the margaritas, and they were absolutely out of the park! We also had the beef and pork tacos, and they were legit...loaded with flavor, served with rice, beans, and all the proper toppings. They even started us off with chips and salsa. Definitely would go back!

Delicious food, fast service. We stopped for lunch while visiting Ft Worth. The chicken enchiladas with green salsa were fantastic! Hot tomato chile queso was also delicious. I wish I had those enchiladas closer to home!

Paloma Suerte was very disappointing. My bf and I love authentic Mexican food and this reminded me of something I could make at home or eat at a chain. I ordered a basic quesadilla that was overpriced and took quite some time to arrive. The entire experience was underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend.

Ten of us went here for lunch in a Sunday afternoon. I didn't learn our servers name, but she was great! The place is fairly large and airy and colorful. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and they brought multiple baskets and bowls out so people didn't have to reach far at all. The other end of the table ordered guacamole, but I didn't get any. Apparently it was very tasty. We all ordered drinks and I got the Suicide Schooner. It's a mixture of all their frozen margarita flavors and it was really good! I ordered the Beef Short Rib Birria Tacos and they were delicious! I couldn't begin to tell you what the other nine people ordered, but for the most part everyone was happy with their meals! A few people got enchiladas and said there was way too much cheese (is there such a thing?), but other than that, no notes! We haven't even begun to get into the whole Fort Worth food scene, so I don't know if we'll be back next time we're in town. But if someone chooses to go there again - I'm in!

Great food. The place was packed but we were served quickly with great service. My grandma got a bowl of Queso for lunch and loved it. Would definitely recommend.

My brother in-law said this was the best Tex-Mex he'd ever eaten. Considering that he lives in SC by way of growing up in NYC, I wasn't so sure. But, lo and behold, this place is pretty good. The atmosphere here is dark and fun. Very clean and comfortable. The outside seating looked like a great place to nosh, but it was 85-90 degrees, so nah. Our server was very polite, albeit slow and seemingly disorganized. Still, the service was OK. I tend to judge Tex-Mex joints on their salsa. This stuff was served cold (which is a requirement for me). It had very little spice and might've been a little on the tart side, but it was decent. I asked for picosa to spice it up, and all they had was a Louisiana-style hot sauce. Oh well. The queso here is among the best I've ever tasted. Indeed, it was obviously Velveeta a Ro-Tel, but they also added chunks of avocado. Divine. The chips were freshly fried and a little greasy, but that's not unusual. I'm a cheese enchilada guy, but my brother in-law recommended the prime beef enchiladas. They were different in a wonderful way ... shredded beef on the inside with a chili con carne and queso topping that is reminiscent of the Texas red I grew up on. If I could change anything about this joint, the salsa would have some spice, and the food would be a little less on the greasy side. Also, the dude who was working as the host (a short chubby guy) might consider smiling once in a while. Still, next time I'm in this neck of the woods, I'll seriously consider giving them my repeat business.

Service is excellent, but food is mid at best! Ambiance & Service: Plenty of outdoor seating with comfy couches. Our server, Brandon, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Food: - Complimentary Chips & Salsa: chips were very stale. Salsa had a nice kick to it. - Cheese Quesadillas: Pretty basic. The rice and beans on the side were bland and lacked seasoning. TL;DR: Great service, but the food doesn't live up to it. Wouldn't return for the food alone.

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
