We had: Papas bravas ($14) - I don't recommend, they were over seasoned and not much flavor. Pulpo ($26) - Must have! Perfectly cooked Shrimp fajitas ($30) - Big plate, very tasty with a lot of flavor. Carnitas con chile verde ($30) - delicious, the carnitas are soft and perfectly cooked, the chile verde has the perfect wife so don't be afraid if you don't like spicy food. I'm disappointed to give this place a 2 based off my experience. The food and ambiance were 5/5. However, there needs to be improvement to the operations and training of employees. I made a reservation on OpenTable and was marked as a no show which resulted in a $90 charge ($30 per person). I marked it as an error when notified by OpenTable via email but was not refunded because I have to contact the restaurant to get the refund. I called during the daytime hours and the employee who answered wasn't able to help me process the refund. He took down my number and said he'd give me up update but never did. He didn't even seem to feel bad that there was an error on behalf of the restaurant. I had to call again during the evening and was assisted by another employee who was able to process the refund. To add on to the negative experience, we let our server know that we were celebrating a friend's birthday and she said she can offer us a little pastry. Little did we know that there would be a charge for this! We have already left the restaurant and were pretty appalled as these things should be stated as there is a charge ... this item's not even on the menu. The food was good and it's the only reason why I'm giving this place stars. We ordered so much for the 3 of us and had plenty of leftovers. Huge portions. We got the potatoes, guacamole, carne asada tacos, and shrimp fajitas. read more

My grandparents and I were struggling finding a spot to eat given everything was almost booked (even before 4:30pm).We were walking around and seeing all the beautiful lights and stumbled upon this place. I loved the hefty chunks of avocado tucked within and it came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. The fish taco plate (2 tacos) came with a side of beans and rice. The sauteed bell peppers were a great addition to the tacos, but the corn tortilla fell apart pretty early on, so I ended up eating the rest with a fork. We were excited to try this place based on videos we tried online but our experience was far from good. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and appetizers came out quick. We ordered our food and it took an extremely long time to come out. Once our food came out our orders for chilaquiles were completely wrong with the sauce and eggs that we ordered. We got offered new eggs but the over easy eggs spilled on the dish so WE had to request the dish we ordered correctly. After receiving our order the food tasted horrible and the other people at our table ordered tortas and it came as a fried chicken sandwich with a slab of cheese. We didn't touch 2 of our plates and when the check came we asked for a discount on our food due to the inconvenience and taste. Our waitress Sally proceeded to try to make us feel guilty by saying I guess the homeless people would like it, packing our food and going outside to give it to a homeless person in front of us when all we asked was if there was a possibility of a discount for our inconvenience and lack of taste of food. Food was good and service was overall good but everything was a little bit unorganized. We booked the 5 course meal NYE but only got 4 course. Also when we booked online through the advertisement for the NYE and Gala , no where on the website stated that there will be a 18% gratuity added for party of 5 or more. We only saw the menu when we were there already that gratuity will be added for 5 people or more. We didn't know the Gala had no seating unless you book a table and the lowest price was $500 with gratuity $643. We already spent $$989 at the restaurant so we ended up paying $300 in gratuity and we told friends it was only $100 per person. Wish the website was a bit more clear. Employees weren't aware of the NYE package deal and manager don't reply back after several calls and messages left. read more
