He is always there when I need him and a super nice guy! Gets stuff on it's way quickly, has a notary service, copies, you name it!

I do not recommend renewing or enrolling in TSA PreCheck here. The employee who helped me was extremely rude and seemed unfamiliar with the renewal process. According to the TSA website, you can renew your TSA PreCheck up to 6 months before expiration. Even though I was within that timeframe, she repeatedly told me I was "too early" and should come back closer to my expiration date. I explained that I'm traveling next month and wanted to avoid any issues, but instead of helping, she suggested I just travel with my marriage certificate. Nobody wants to carry unnecessary documents while traveling when this could simply be handled correctly the first time. On top of that, she claimed my Known Traveler Number account didn't exist. I had to repeatedly ask her to enter the full account number correctly before my information finally appeared. After that, she continued the interaction with an obvious bad attitude, huffing and puffing the entire time because she clearly did not want to help. The owner was not helpful either. If I hadn't been persistent and informed about the TSA renewal policy myself, I honestly don't think this would have been completed properly. Very disappointing customer service experience. Save your time and money and go elsewhere! read more

My family of four went to get the TSA precheck done. My wife and two teens had an appointment for this time slot, I had made one for another day. I asked if he could process me too and he simply and straightforwardly asked if I had filled and submitted my info online and I said yes I had. He said okay then you'll be last. Great! I was a little worried about his demeanor but through simple friendly engagement he seemed to loosen up a bit and then a lot! He's got people coming for this service just about every 10-15 minutes so I can understand his need to be efficient and accurate in order to serve all of us. And he was all of that, we just were trying to make all of our time there more light and enjoyable and he responded well. He provided exactly the service that was advertised and expected and the pricing was a bit lower than other nearby locations so a good value too. Simply submit your info at the TSA website https://tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov/ and book your appointment and you'll be in and out of there in less than 15 minutes! Easy peasy. read more

Have had issue with this person just being rude to certain people especially African Americans. Now this is a black owned business which is why it's disturbing to me. I've witnessed the different treatment with my own eyes. So I go in with an appointment mind you it "says come in early at least 10 minutes" on line I'm coming to get a twic card. He sees me and say do you have an appointment? I said yes and told him the time. I was 20 minutes early he says well there two ahead of you and need to wait outside I will see you then. I said ok but I just sat in a chair I was not about to go outside and sit in the hot sun in my car. So next the two people come and they are together but they have wrong day it's the following day so I go and give my information everything is set until it is time to pay for the card. The card is $124 but if you have a hazmat endorsement it's only $93 I explained which he saw on my valid real I'd drivers license I have he would not give me my discount which is illegal come to find out. He tells me oh you have to do it online when you made your appointment for the discount. Lie. You can unless you are renewing and I was not I was getting a new twic card so they have to give discount where your getting card from on computer. So all he had to do was click a button on computer. In these days and time are we that desperate for $30? It's ok because karma is real. I say all that to say this do not go to this scam artist go get your twic from the other place on Arnold drive in Martinez. Oh yes and complaints will be filed with TSA this cat don't need to be working with people's documents playing these type of games. read more

Stopped by today do finger printing. The owner was fast and super helpful. The service embodies definition of a locally-owned shop, friendly and attentive to customers. Highly recommend this place! read more

Do not do business with! The man working here that I assume is owner is horrible...Condescending and rude! I came in for appointment and he's talking down to customers in front of me for not knowing they needed an appointment. I got there 5 minutes before my appointment and he had me sitting for 20 minutes while he helped walked ins. Then when he finally helps me I tell him I have the documents for the reduced rate. He said " no, that's for when you pay online" , I told him there is no option to pay online and on the site it says present documents in person. That's when he started cutting me off and making up lies that had no facts to support. To not follow a government site should be a crime and down right shady business. I can only imagine how he does business with the other services he offers. I ended up calling the site and they said he should have accepted that! I went to staples in concord and had no problems read more

Pak Mail was very responsive and helpful. It was very easy to have the LiveScan that I needed to have done. The service was prompt and courteous. read more

The man that I spoke with regarding the TSA precheck process who I feel was the owner is condescending, impatient and rude. He doesn't understand the fundamentals of customer service. He doesn't understand that when I pay for a service I'm trusting that they give me all the information needed. His tone was as if I was versed in what the TSA process was and only after being pressed was he willing to help. He complained to me about all the customers he has daily as if I wasn't important to him. Had I read some of the other reviews I would not have given Pak Mail my business. Obviously he has too many customers to be helpful. read more

Brought in a rush fed ex delivery for overnight. Did not get to destination. Owner told me that 'I gave it to the driver'. But- fed ex has no info on this. He basically said it's not his problem. He is supposed to log and keep track (per fed ex in Pacheco). Nothing was done. Also was supposed to be open at 9. Rolled in at 10. read more

So I did some research on YELP to find the best place to mail out three heavy boxes and a sandtray to a friend who lived in AZ. She was starting a new private practice and I wanted to make sure all these items reached her safely. I especially wanted the sandtray to be packed with care! Terry, the owner of Pak Mail was very helpful and said he would take care of them. The items were mailed out about 1:00pm on Monday and the receipt said they would reach her by Wednesday. I have to say after reading the reviews here and comparing them to the reviews on other places that pack and mail out items, not once did I read that read more

I should have gone the extra miles to the UPS Store. The gentleman behind the counter was condescending and quite rude. Returning packages is a chore most people don't like doing. With all the online ordering we are doing during the SIP, you would think it would be easier or a more pleasant experience. I don't like giving negative reviews on YELP. I like to go directly to the business website. Kindness goes a long way. read more

I called them to see if they would do a notary service, and they said they would. I arrived and a lady was in the office and said the lady was right outside on the phone that did notaries. I waited about 15-20 minutes, during which the lady inside walked out and talked to the lady on the phone, who just waved her away. So I left and went to UPS and did it immediately. I like to support smaller stores, but not if they offer service like this. read more

Great customer service! After calling 10+ notaries, I finally found one that had the requested raised seal. Was a very easy, painless process and will definitely go there for any notary service needed! read more

I love the efficiency of this DHL outlet. After researching several locations wherein I could trust my family's precious documents to send out overseas, THIS place consistently answered the phones for questions BY the owner himself AND it felt safe that he has had an ongoing relationship with DHL for 20+ years! Other DHL outlets closer to where I live never answered their phones or had questionable dependability. In the middle of a busy work day, it was worth it driving the extra few miles. read more

You know how sometimes you really need to get something done, on a fixed deadline and it shouldn't be that hard, but somehow, every step of the way, it's hard and annoying? NOT THIS PLACE!! They had everything in order, ready to go, SLICK! I got my LiveScan fingerprints done and submitted in a flash. Nice service, fast, easy. I really couldn't ask for anything more. Keep it up, man. Thank you! read more

I recently moved to the Bay Area and needed a live scan for work. I live in Concord but I will continue to come here for any shipping I need. Terry the owner, is so welcoming and such a like able person. I wanted to stay there just to talk to him. He has great customer service. We need more people like him!!!! If I could give his place more than 5 stars I would!!!! read more

I diverted a DHL package to this location - getting packages delivered to my home address is hit or miss - as it is for many these days. The owner of the shop, Terry, was warm and welcoming. I would definitely use his shop as a shipping point in the future (either by using his flat-fee service or by renting a mailbox). I am so glad to find a local business that provides this valuable service! read more

I needed some documents photocopied and printed. The gentleman who assisted me is friendly and helpful.

Among my favorite small businesses in Martinez or anywhere else. The owner of this shop, Terry, has saved my bacon a number of times, whether on filing a tax return or getting out birthday/Christmas presents. He remembers my name every time I come in, and even helps me out if I'm just dropping off a return for UPS. Reasonable prices, outstanding service. read more

Terry always has one of the best attitudes I've ever seen, rain, sun, or shine. He goes above and beyond to help out the customer and let you know that he really appreciates your business. He is fast, effective, and wastes no time in getting you serviced and out the door. He's a great asset to downtown Martinez. We are lucky to have a PakMail on Main Street. read more

Charged only $10 per notarized signature which is recommended by the state. Found the location convenient and the notary professional.

What a life saver!! Terry is such a sweetheart! As an attorney, this place is a wonderful go to for a last minute copy, or to get quick office supplies. Fast service and great conversation. Anytime I am in town, I will stop here for my office/copying/printing needs. read more

This place is amazing, I have tried to ship stuff (the stuff I ship is not the usual stuff) fishing rods...large outdoor items...I have tried through other shippers and got a bunch of BS. I go to pakmail and they didn't hesitate, one of the guys there actually came to my home to see the item as it was too big for me just to bring in for a shipping quote. So happy with their customer service, I see no reason to go anywhere else ever again. read more

PAKMAIL 649 Main Street # 102 Martinez Plenty of metered street parking in front, or only this far away, and it's right off the sidewalk. This small efficient, friendly place in an ordinary building is hooked into DHL, FedEx, and UPS so it'll ship it the way you want. It will sell you a shipping box of the right size, and Styrofoam packing peanuts, or rent a mailbox to you, or notarize papers. A huge green plus is that it accepts those Styrofoam peanuts and shipping braces so you don't feel guilty about throwing them in the blue trash can and have them in the landfill forever. read more

Terry the owner is exceptional. He always goes out of his way to help his clients. That you can guarantee no matter what it is you're shipping. read more

Having relocated from Martinez to Canada, I've had a few items given to me from my parents' estate that I needed to have shipped to me in Canada over the last couple years. Many of the items are very precious and needed special care and handling. I've had Terry pack and ship those items and he does an amazing job! This last shipment was my parents' china. I was really nervous about having it shipped and told Terry that I would rather someone else in my family have it than to risk it getting broken during shipping. Terry assured me that he was confident he could get it to me in Canada safely. And based on previous experience with Terry's phenomenal packing skills, I decided to trust his confidence. Well, the three boxes of china arrived last week, and I am delighted to say that not one piece of china was damaged in transit. Amazing!! Terry really knows what he's doing and he's very personable. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of shipping services. He's not only amazing at what he does, he's very a very friendly, personable guy. It's always a pleasure doing business with him! read more

Terry at Pak Mail works really hard to keep his clients happy, and this little business in downtown Martinez is hoppin'. It's the only place I go for Notary services - and I've needed him a lot lately! Recently, had to have some legal paperwork overnighted from Martinez to Key West after Hurricane Irma. I doubted we would make it, even though the Fed Ex time frames said we could do it. Terry assured me we would make it - And we did! Pak Mail is the little business that could. read more
