We came here for dinner and opted for the prix fixe menu.
The prix fixe is a good option if you're planning on having wine and/or dessert. At the waitress's recommendation, we had white wine with the first main dish (salmon) and red with the second (steak). Bottled water is also included in the price. Two appetizers, two mains, a dessert, two wines, water, and a coffee all for 22€. Hard to beat!
Degusto plate, main courses, and desserts are all properly portioned and well-prepared. The tomato and mozzarella salad didn't really stand out nor did the three butters (which were packaged items) or the bread.
The kitchen and waitress do a really good job on timing, which is always my main pet peeve with these multi-course menus. The amount of time between each course was perfect, especially between the first main and the second as we were also switching from white to red wine.
The waitress is awesome. She manages the small dining room by herself with just the right amount of attention to each table. She also speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish all fluently. The space is small, and the restaurant easy to miss. However, both of those add to the less-touristic charm of this place.
If you're in Lisbon, definitely worth making a stop here. read more
