The baked apple and scoop of ice cream. I believe my husband got the chocolate mousse (also good).

Great food and very quiet atmosphere at this place. Octopus was very tasty and would recommend although a bit oily as is typical of the dish though. DO NOT skip dessert get the baked apple you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is exceptionally small which adds to the charm. Food is actually cooked upstairs and sent via small elevator to the bottom floor. The whole experience is very endearing and much more authentic than the restaurant circus of Rua Augusta. It's worth going a bit out of the way for this.

A nice & cozy place off the side of a busy tourist street. It seems quite popular but we were lucky to be seated as walk-ins. We were seated upstairs which was nice for its quiet and intimate nature but a bit problematic when it was time for us to leave as we felt forgotten. Started off with fried sardines & fried vegetables which were both alright. Then moved onto the steak and shrimp pasta - the shrimp pasta was probably one of the top dishes I've had in Lisbon! It was so fresh, light, and flavorful! I would go back just for that pasta We had a really good time here and could see the appeal of this place.

Very nice cheese, wine and food. Decent seating arrangement too. Small and sweet restaurant. Great for family meals. Service is great.

My favorite restaurant in Lisbon. We still discuss this meal lol and plan to go back for more soon! Be sure to make a reservation because they do get booked up. We were lucky we were walk ins and they were able to seat us because of a no-show. The food was amazing. We had the bacalhau and the risotto which were perfection. All of the servers were really nice and accommodating, answered any questions! They even suggested how we could best enjoy our appetizer. It was a great experience. The space was packed but still cozy and comfortable! I will 100% return the next time I'm in Lisbon.

This place was recommended by my hotel and I enjoyed a nice lunch there. Service was prompt and polite and food was tasty. I got the tapas size cream cod with sprouts and it was more than enough for me.

My private tour guide recommended this place. I went here for dinner on my last night in Lisbon. It didn't disappoint. The food seemed more homestyle so don't expect fancy stuff. I've been eating at TimeOut Market a lot and getting some of their fancy dishes so this is not the same. I'm glad I got to try this place. I got the pork cheeks and it was so soft and flavorful. The potatoes were boiled, sliced and put in olive oil. Definitely didn't see this at most other restaurants. We also tried the kale soup which didn't look appealing but tasted good. Seemed very simple but hit the spot. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. They speak English and most of the patrons were foreigners but I still got a good vibe from this place. I got some very tasty reserve red wine from Dao region for a reasonable price (8€ per glass).

Great local authentic Portuguese food. Attentive service. Small and cozy. Popular with locals, mostly tables for 2-4.

Came to this restaurant based on a recommendation from our hotel receptionist who said the restaurant had very good bacalhau dishes.

The restaurant was empty at 7pm but by 7:30pm it was very busy. The ambiance was jazzy and friendly, as was the wait staff who spoke English and were very helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious: the fish of the day - a white fish filet which was crumbed in hazelnuts served on mashed potatoes; baked cod; grilled octopus; and a very interesting vegetarian dish called Emotional Cabbage, which was a cabbage stew served on a huge amount of rice. The desserts were FABULOUS- Nata Goes Asian, which was very thin rice crackers that were drizzled with the traditional custard sauce of Portugal. It was a light dessert but very satisfying. The second was a brownie with vanilla ice cream which was also excellent. We ended the dinner with a complementary pour of a ruby port (brand unnamed). All in all, it was a fun casual dinner in a lovely restaurant. BTW, the restaurant is adjacent to the Hotel 1906. The decor was funky and like some of the names of the dishes, had a sense of humor, Prices were fairly reasonable. Definitely recommend.

As we were exploring the grass and…read moreneighborhood, walking up the hill to the lookout point, we came across this lovely restaurant house and a small hotel. We spoke with the server who indicated they would have lunch available till three and after seeing the delicious looking pan Asian menu we decided to come back after our walk. We are so glad that we did! It was a brisk but sunny day and we were able to sit out in a covered patio in the garden with beautiful plants and flowers all around. The server Was knowledgeable about the pan Asian menu, indicating some of the specialties from various parts of Asia. We selected a pod Thai dish which included black sesame and Julie and vegetables and was one of the best dishes I've ever had of that time. We also sampled some meat pastries, samosas, and a couple of salads. They also have burgers and other "American style" meals which also looks good. But the pièce de résistance was a salt and pepper chocolate cake which was one of the most delicious desserts I've ever eaten. It was a chewy chocolate cake dark but not better capped with sea salt and red pepper corns and was absolutely divine. We can't recommend the small restaurant and it's very menu enough to anyone who is lucky enough to be walking around Graca - And in fact if you are in Lisbon it is worth a bus or tram or even Uber ride to get there.

Food Quality: For around 8 euros you get a really fresh burger. I had the veggie Burger, which was more like a sandwich, but had a lot of really great and fresh roasted vegetables on it. So I can't judge on the meat quality. But everything was totally tastey. And the potato chips have been really crispy and yummy. Not drowned in oil. This was totally worth the money. Additional hint for best view point in Lisboa: leaving the location turn left and on the corner sharp left. You know, when you have the view. This is also not so croweded by tourists like this strange chapel.
