Wow, my friend had booked a reservation here for himself before I arrived in Portugal, and towards the end of our trip, we booked another reservation for the two of us because he raved about it, and it was just that good. The restaurant is located on an upper floor of a nice hotel by the water in Lisbon. The restaurant itself is small and only seats a few tables, but every table has a wonderful view of the landscape outside. When I went, we opted for the 7 course tasting menu. Each dish we had was spectacular and the plating and presentation was phenomenal. I am not typically a wine person, but I had sips of my friend's wine pairings with each course, and you can tell that the pairings were well thought out and complemented each course extremely well. When you first sit down, they offer you tapioca chips served in an adorable trolley then come by with a bread cart of 4 different selections of bread (don't worry, you can ask for one of each and they will accommodate ). The bread comes with a spectacular garlic butter and seafood paste (I think it was crab?). For the appetizers and mains, there was a good mix of seafood and meat dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and I throughly enjoyed every single course (which is rare for a tasting menu!). The staff were extremely friendly, and the servers bringing out the food described the dishes well and were very receptive to questions. It was funny when a server brought out the pigeon that she specified it was from the countryside and had never seen the city, haha. The sommelier was also very impressive and did a wonderful job describing each wine and how they paired with each dish. After our meal, the staff also invited us to go to their private rooftop to see their 360 view of the city. They claim it is the 2nd highest rooftop to view the city from! I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and would definitely return when I am back in Portugal.

Excellent from start to end. Service is outstanding, food is amazing! Each course was a work of art! Ambiance is very elegant and simple, yet sophisticated. Truly memorable.

Cannot recommend enough! This last minute addition to our Portugal trip ended up being one of the highlights! We did the 5 course vegetarian menu & 5 course chef's menu with wine tastings, but were served closer to 7-8 courses including the extensive courvet. The vegetarian menu was phenomenal -- it was totally different from the chef's menu and was actually created around vegetables, rather than trying to approximate the meat courses. Wine was well-paired with generous pours. Service was 10/10. Ended the night with drinks on the rooftop--bartender Nuno makes the best cocktails to go with the dazzling view

Suba is little gem tucked away from the tourism of Lisbon. A beautiful experience with top notch staff and food. It was a perfect way to end our vacation; a time to slow down and enjoy the quiet and a different side of Portugal from the local foods to the wines from across the country.

Pastries de Bacalhau - the crust was not brown enough. May be longer time. The stuffing was flavorful but it's more the cod taste than the flavored mash potatoes which I prefer. I actually prefer the other local restaurant I tried the night before better. Caldo Verde - The potatoe part of the soup is great. Perfect viscosity but the flavor is not. It wasn't salty enough but more importantly is the flavor of the veggies and the spicy sausage they supposed to use that makes the soup taste different. Grilled giant pawns - The flavor of the prawns is not as intense as expected and hope to be. The squid ink pasta also lacked of flavor. That's disappointing. With the prawns, they should at least use the prawn shell to make sauce for the pastas. The pasta was tasteless, didn't even use enough garlic and olive oil to flavor it up. Seafood rice - Another disappointment. They used fish, small mussels and little bit of shrimp pieces along with some bigger whole shrimps and mussels. However, the rice was lack of the true seafood flavor that made from shell fish. They also added cilantro which overwhelmed the whatever left of seafood flavor. The lemonade was not a sweet lemonade but sour. Fyi. It's not fair we just went to another restaurant in the neighborhood and everything was so much better but people should know.

Cozy, almost romantic atmosphere. And just €16 per person for all you can eat! The menu changes nightly so here were the stars for me: Creamed cod. Might not sound appetizing but this was insanely good. Not too fishy. Veggie lasagna - really great flavors and you sneak in some vegetables. All the sides: mashed potatoes were delicious, the rice is a staple, the couscous was perfect, the carrot soup made me say DAMN! The service was amazing. The two gentleman there ran an entire packed restaurant effortlessly. Helping customers with drinks, explaining the concept and each dish to every person that came in. We washed it down with a pitcher of white sangria (drinks and desserts are extra). We literally couldn't move. We walked back to the hotel instead of taking an Uber simply to walk some of it off. One of the most memorable meals I had in Lisbon.

The restaurant was quaint and intimate , with a small buffet that easily fills you up. There were many options from a beef stew to a curry, a noodle dish with bacon, salad, and other options. They even explained the options to us. I truly wish we had more time in Lisbon because I would have definitely returned to try it again as the options differ nightly. I would definitely recommend this to all in Lisbon.
