Duque's sirloin steak (€19,50). Tough and dry
    Sandee L.

I had high hopes for Duque, as it got good reviews from several different sources. Maybe they had an off night? The oven roasted octopus was alright. I liked the fried leeks and sweet potato mash that came with it. The vegetable braz with truffled oil was...interesting? Funny, one of the staff came to drop it off and she timidly placed it on the table, said what it was as if she was waiting for us to object to the dish. It did the job of getting a veggie serving into our diet that evening. The sirloin steak was pretty bad: overcooked, dry and tough. We ordered it medium rare and it came out medium. The photo I took actually looks like it would be ok, but looks can be deceiving. The potatoes were good: nice and crispy. Cute ambiance. They have several restaurants down this street. Reservations available online 30 days in advance.

I would go back to Lisbon in a heart beat to dine at Duque again! For those who are traveling or visiting Lisbon you must stop in for a meal. This was literally the best meal I ever had! Two words. Octopus Salad! You must get it. It is so fresh, juicy, tender MMMM. Their seafood rice is to die for. Literally if it was my last day on earth I would go back here!!

This restaurant was full too; no problem; it like many others; have a "room" up the street. Idk. Anyway, wait staff is lovely, food is delicious! We loved everything we ate. We really liked our server. This place was a great way to end our day of walking & walking!

Great food in a very cozy ambience type of restaurant. My friends and I certainly enjoyed dining there recently and it's very reasonable.

I was there a few days ago. I found this restaurant by watching one youtube influencer. 1) Small restaurant 2) decor is kind of cute. Portugese restaurant style 3) This restaurant suppose you need reservations. I went in early May, still a lot of tourist. I have to wait for 35 minutes, almost 8:45pm, then I got seated, that is ok. 4) Waiter came very fast and food arrive very fast. 5) Nice employees there. 6) I got grilled large tiger pawn and black squid ink pasta. very good 7) grilled seabass, my husband has. Around $15 Euro. Super good 8) also got Ceviche fish 9) got chocolate mousse for dessert. it is so good and I eat here the next day again. It is "that good".

My wife and I were in Lisbon for a week and finished a Tuc-Tuc tour on our first day and I found this place on Yelp. It was pretty close to our hotel. I ordered a big beer to start off and we got some olive and hummus appetizer. Really good. Our service was quiet but she was nice. I ordered the full sea bring. Oh, so good. I love a whole fish, and here it was 15 Euro. Lotts of good accouterments on the side too. Pretty small place, so get there early, but they have two other nearby locations I think. Great lunch in Lisbon!

This restaurant was an awesome Yelp find! We ordered the Duck breast and cod fritters/croquettes and both were amazing! This ended up being one of my favorite meals in Lisbon. It is kind of confusing because when you arrive, there are three restaurants that are all named Duque restaurant in a row on the same street. These are all the same restaurant, owned by the same people, and have the same menu so you can choose whichever location has more seats available!

This should be the #1 restaurant in Lisbon right now. The food is so worth it and the price is shockingly inexpensive. We ordered the white fish ceviche, duque's cod & oven roasted octupus. The sauce for the octupus dish was so creamy and sweet potato-ey it's not something you find in a seafood dish but it fits right in! Everything we ordered was a 10/10. If u dont like soury food, the ceviche was sour x2. The restaurant itself was really quaint and small but consisted of 4 other rooms next to each other. We made a reservation for 9:30pm and were seated right away. This place gets packed so make your resy.

Fish rice was amazing! Everything was so fresh and delicious

Do yourself a favor and go here instead of those huge over-the-top places. This was the best Portuguese food we had and the ambiance and service was amazing. They have a few different spots so depending on availability, you may be down the street from their original location but it's all the same. I had the seafood rice and it was AMAZING! Everybody at the table enjoyed their food as well. My husband had the sea bass which was excellent but a lot of work since it was a whole fish, but it DID slow down his eating. We had the braised tuna to start and that was delicious too. Dessert looked simple (it's cake in a jar), but the strawberry cheesecake one was the best!

This place was highly recommended but for food that was just okay and service that was... not great... I'd skip it. We showed up two hours before they closed and they told us the bar and kitchen wanted to leave so we had to order fast, they definitely were rushing us and made us feel unwelcome, even though more people came in after us. Beware, they also charged us for a bottle of wine we did not get and weren't too happy when we said something about it. The seafood rice was the star of the meal, unfortunately everything else was just okay.

A bit of a walk away from the main drag but o so worth it. With three rooms down the same sidestreet it is likely you will not have to wait. We followed a Yelper here and confirmed by other review sites, this is a fantastic local feeling place, although I suspect about half the people are tourists. The food was outstanding- I had the oven roasted octopus and she had the whole sea bream - both mouth wateringly good. Service as prompt and friendly without being pushy - and the interior is so cool that we felt like we were in an authentic slice of Portugal.

This was by far by favorite restaurant in Lisbon. It was so good, I visited twice during my trip. It's very small but I managed to show up without a reservation twice and didn't have a problem getting a seat. It's probably because both times I went close to opening so I likely beat the rush. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Even though it's a small location, I didn't feel rushed by the waitstaff either time. The food was excellent. I had the steak the first time and the octopus the second time. My friend and I shared the octopus salad and the ceviche which were both very tasty as well. Everything was so fresh and the portion sizes were great. I also tried the house green wine for the first time and had 2 glasses (that was definitely my limit as it's very strong). No trip to Lisbon is complete without a trip to Restaurante Duque!

Last night in Lisbon and they have a window so you can watch the magic in the kitchen! Rustic casual. Pluses 1. Tiger prawns and squid ink pasta - juicy and tender and full of flavor, pasta al dente 2. Gin tonic 3. Shot of port 4. Dessert in glass jar, banana pudding yum yum 5. Helpful service Areas to improve 1. Couldn't help it, but there was a family with a toddler who screamed and cried the entire time and they were seated in the middle of the restaurant 2. Juicy mussels, just too salty for me Highly recommended! I would return to try more if I had more time. I did solo trip and off peak time so no wait.

The restaurant was quaint and intimate , with a small buffet that easily fills you up. There were many options from a beef stew to a curry, a noodle dish with bacon, salad, and other options. They even explained the options to us. I truly wish we had more time in Lisbon because I would have definitely returned to try it again as the options differ nightly. I would definitely recommend this to all in Lisbon.

Cozy, almost romantic atmosphere. And just €16 per person for all you can eat! The menu changes nightly so here were the stars for me: Creamed cod. Might not sound appetizing but this was insanely good. Not too fishy. Veggie lasagna - really great flavors and you sneak in some vegetables. All the sides: mashed potatoes were delicious, the rice is a staple, the couscous was perfect, the carrot soup made me say DAMN! The service was amazing. The two gentleman there ran an entire packed restaurant effortlessly. Helping customers with drinks, explaining the concept and each dish to every person that came in. We washed it down with a pitcher of white sangria (drinks and desserts are extra). We literally couldn't move. We walked back to the hotel instead of taking an Uber simply to walk some of it off. One of the most memorable meals I had in Lisbon.
