OK - I thought the restaurant two days earlier was small and narrowly packed. Now, think of that room, cut it in half and stuff twice as many mini tables into it - and here comes the Cheia de Graca. Located in a small side street off-mainstream, this restaurant provided attentive service, a cute environment and superb food. Just that it would not allow to sit there forever (nobody kicks you out), but there were mostly stools, and the absence of the back of a chair over time is a bit tiring. The Queijo Brie Gratinad (grilled brie cheese in honey) - wow - was unexpected and suuuper delicious. The Salada Pota, Pimentos de Padron, the Camarao, and the Dolce were all in all not specifically creative or unique, but yet very tasty and pleasant. They were to be shared on the table. And without delay, everything migrated from the happy taste buds to please the tired legs ...

This place was great for dinner. It has super cozy atmosphere! I am glad that we went here because it has bacalhau sampler with 4 different styles. It was great to not have to choose and to get to the and few different types. It's hard for me to give this place 5 stars only because I did not try any of the tapas or any other meal, also it wasn't the best bacalhau I got in Lisbon. None the less, I really enjoyed coming here and it's worth it if you're in the area.

Absolutely amazing experience. We had the chickpea salad with Codfish, shrimp and couscous with vegetables. It was like having a home cooked meal in the owners house.

Seriously a hole in the wall. My coworker recommended this place to me, and I'm glad he did! The restaurant is cozy and the service is impeccable. As a solo diner I was welcomed with open arms. I ordered the house sardines, roasted octopus, and a glass of red wine. Everything tasted phenomenal - I was blown away at how perfectly cooked the octopus was. I'm seriously considering coming back for a second night in a row to indulge in the octopus again. Highly recommended, but not for large groups since there's only a handful of tables. I strolled in at 9:30PM on a Sunday and was seated right away (which was expected, but thought I put it out there).

I ascribe to the wisdom that a small, hole in the wall restaurant can at times be THE best restaurant. Lisboa Cheia de Graca, is such a gem and to this day I still think about the meal I had. We found this place by accident on our first day, and were lucky enough to find it on our second. The place is tiny, with small tables and stools. But, the staff is amazingly friendly and the food is fresh, full of flavour and delicious. I had the simple sounding Cod in Garlic in Olive Oil with potatoes and salad dish, which was nothing but simple. The garlic in olive oil gave the cod a burst of flavour that I can't even begin to describe. This is a MUST visit restaurant when you are in Lisbon.

Had an amazing dinner here! My friend and I started with the sausage board (the blood sausage is the best!), followed by duck rice (which was highly recommended to me by other friends that visited Lisbon) and the grilled octopus. Both dishes were delicious (we split them). We also had a bottle of green wine (Muralhas brand). We were stuffed after so we skipped dessert. The restaurant is tiny - literally 6 tables. Make a reservation or arrive early. Also, you will be separately charged for the bread/butter/cheese on the table if you partake so just be aware of that!

So, this is the real deal in Lisbon. It's tiny and run by a fantastic lady who just absolutely makes sure you are happy with everything. We ordered the calamari salad (basically a ceviche) and meat/cheese plate (which had one of the best sausages we've ever tasted) as appetizers. Order the same, and you'll be thanking me later. For main dishes, we had the roasted codfish and the burger with fried egg. Both incredible. The codfish was so good, though, you'd fight someone for it. Garlic, butter, and just falling off the bone. Amazing!!! I cannot recommend this spot enough. Small, and be prepared if they're busy to wait for a minute, but you'll be glad you did. Also some delicious local wines for really great prices. In fact, everything here is reasonable. Have I convinced you yet?! What are you waiting for!?

Wonderful little spot in the Bario Alto district. The waitress and the staff were very nice and friendly. Order tapas for appetizer followed by strake. Everything was out of this world, beginning from the sangria.

Best Portuguese Meal.... nice ambiance and quiet setting. Food was delicious and prepared with much flavor. I'm very happy we came here on our last night in Lisbon. I had the salted cod with roast garlic, roast potato and the garlic prawns. My husband had a meat dish with rice and egg. He loved his food too. Cash only restaurant!!!!

Pork cutlet with chorizo dressing. Amazing!

Inside the discreet store front, lies one of the most amazing Portuguese wine collections in the city, where you can sample over 40 types straight from the refillable card operated wine vending machines installed in Mundo's two large but cozy rooms - a perfect place to try a lot of incredible wines. Get your card, top it up and get ready to indulge in an extensive selection of wines that includes some of the country's finest, and some from beyond its borders. The novelty of the machines alone makes for a great Instagram post, but it's Mundo's ambiance, the super friendly staff, and its carefully curated wine selection, that makes this a must while in the city. In between sips, have a go at their great selection of cheeses, and for unique and fun time with a small group of friends, book a wine tasting and get your very own sommelier to tell you about Portugal, its wine regions and rich history. I highly recommend the Port wine experience. When in Lisbon, take a break from the city's crowded tourist spots and stroll down to 'world of wine', you'll be glad you did.
