Men's Restroom

The service here is incredible shout out to the beautiful Erica and manager Nelson. The whole team is incredible. Plus plus plus.... look at these spotless restrooms. Service are menu are fantastic. 10/10 recommend. Look at the spotless luxury bathroom you'd never think it was a Pizza Restaurant. Levels way above the generic pozza places seen all too often. If you're lucky you may have Celio or Bryan as your delivery driver!

The Italian (Hot) lunch special with fries
Clarence B.

Great service. Very clean and new inside. Ordered 2 lunch specials steak and cheese and the Italian, a cold sandwich that I ordered hot. The sandwiches and fries were good! I enjoyed the crunch and light being of the banana peppers on the hot Italians and the steak and cheese was solid. I'd suggest stopping by especially if you are patronizing any nearby business.

Cheese bread...wow

This is a great place if you are hosting a party or small event and want a good deal on multiple pizzas. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere. As you can see from the pictures, the cheese bread was a joke. When I ordered it, I imagined dominoes style or literally any other cheese bread that I have had. This was literally just pieces of soggy bread with some mozzarella cheese. Don't even bother ordering it. You can make it yourself for half the price. It was not even seasoned or had any spice. In terms of pizza, the Pepperoni and Bacon was average. It is good if you want a greasy slice and are in the mood for some base line pizza. The pepperoni and bacon itself were fresh and the crust was a decent ratio of crisp to doughiness. The buffalo chicken was terrible. Whatever cheese is added at the end either blue cheese or gorgonzola disrupted the whole flavor base of the pie. The taste was just awful. The only bright spot to the pizza was the chicken itself. It was boneless wings cut up onto a pizza. While this was a positive, it could not save this train-wreck of a pizza. The discount is good but I would rather just make oven made pizza.

The best pizza The best service. We love this place. My favorite is cheeseburger and white chicken

Im traumatized. This has never happened to me before anywhere in life.

Literally pulled this long hair out of my mouth while eating my pizza.... My hair is nowhere close to this length nor texture. I have curly hair... I'm so disgusted it was the grossest feeling ever....

Had a pie here in house. Pepperoni and banana peppers. Better quality than the big three (Hut, Dominos, and Papa J's). I'd recommend it.

Twisted Sweets and Savory - Hungarian on Jalapeño Bagel sandwich!

Twisted Sweets and Savory had been on my radar for quite some time. Yet, it took us quite a while…read moreto give it a try. In part, that was us not quite able to figure out exactly where it was. Grant Street, it turns out, is disjointed. In other words, it's not like it's just a straight shot from one end to the other. We stopped in here on a Saturday around 4 p.m. The place closes at 6 p.m., and are closed on Sunday. At that time of day, they weren't at all busy. The young man at the counter took our orders, and someone working in the back made the sandwiches. We just ordered savory items, so we can't speak to how the sweet items are (although some of them sounded so good). I ordered the salmon sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with dill cream cheese, filled with smoked Atlantic salmon, spring mix, cucumber, and red onion." The bread choices are everything bagel, jalapeno, and cheesy. I chose the everything bagel and asked for no onion. I found this sandwich to be tasty, but I thought they could have gone lighter with the dill cream cheese. The bread had a nice crispness. My husband ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with paprika mayo and filled with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, fresh romaine hearts, spring mix, sweet pepper, tomato, cucumber, and red onion". He wasn't happy with the paprika mayo, as he says mustard would have worked better. Nor did he care for the sweet peppers. Now he knows not to order the default setting for this sandwich but instead to customize the toppings. They work with DoorDash, which, when ordering online, gives the option to customize one's order. There are high tables, the type that are found in bars, for those who want to eat their sandwiches there. The place is kept very clean.

I settled for the Hungarian sandwich and I tried the cannoli and pistachio twists. I loved all- they were delicious! I can't wait to go back!

Special requests seem very hit and miss, which is frustrating when you pay for extras. I stick to the steak and cheese, onion rings, Italian sub, godfather sub, and New Yorker. Curly fries are also very consistent. Occasionally I take a chance on steak fries, but sometimes what I receive is under cooked. The supremo pizza is ok, but sometimes undercooked and tastes like a Digiorno frozen pizza. Stopped ordering the calzone because it rarely gets to the temperature to melt the cheese inside and the dough is a little under. (Maybe get it to go and heat for 10-12 min in 400 degree oven.) Always clean inside when I have visited and tables maintained. Service usually with a smile. Their to go business keeps them hopping. They have a decent size menu and worth a try, but improvements could be made.

Needless to say, I told everyone, I told you so, they are an utter shit hole and cannot deal with a line of people. The man that I now know is the manager, wasn't delegating people behind the counter. He was running around doing a whole bunch of nothing himself. I waited for 25 minutes to pick up the order for my office and everybody's food was cold. This location is an utter shit hole. There's no other way to describe them.

We both ended up liking this sub so much that we've now had it two more times. This sub consists of: "capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, Genoa salami, lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese." We got them with oil and vinegar and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. The second time we ordered 2 subs using Doordash. These subs came with the default toppings which are mayonnaise, onions and hot peppers. We both agreed that we prefer them with just the oil and vinegar plus salt and pepper. These subs are the best we've had. The bread is soft and fresh plus the family who owns the place knows how to assemble a sub so that everything is packed in well, thus making it easier to eat. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The family who runs it is very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised when we went there recently, since we were in the area, and decided to buy 2 subs to go, that the lady who waited on us when we first went there, remembered us! The one drawback---They are located in an office park. Thus their business hours correspond to regular work hours. On Thursday and Friday, they do stay open until 6 p.m. They are closed on the weekends. So...basically, it's a hidden gem. If you like subs, it's worth a visit or an order on Doordash. And, yes, we will be back!

Drive around if you need to, and you'll eventually find the sign. Should you go through all that trouble to find the place? Umm, yes, because the sub I had here was really tasty and gave me a homey feel. It's family-run, and the staff was very friendly. If you are out of ideas for lunch and nearby, consider trying the subs at this place. You won't regret it. The thick double plastic bags are overkill, though. I wish they would use paper wraps and paper bags instead. Something to improve upon.

They had some really good looking Mahi Mahi filets that I am kicking myself for not getting, but in talking with the two guys behind the counter, it was just brought in that morning. Instead we got local chicken breast, which at about $7 per lb. Is pretty good for local chicken. Our CSA previously charged $10.99 a lb. And some pork chops to throw on the grill - they were nice thick cuts too! Their different beef cuts looked good and the one guy was talking about bringing in some A5 in the future (admittedly this was a conversation I was eaves dropping on so I don't have details -- but... something to look forward to???) They also have different prepared foods - apparently their shepherd pies were very popular this past week and sold out and they have shaved ribeye that we would have liked for cheesesteaks (alas! Also sold out) It was a Sunday so I am sure they were winding down inventory for the week, but if they are selling out - it must be good, right!?! Bottom line: knowledgeable and helpful staff & good, quality selection - wish they were closer to us, but we will be back anyway!

The roll was reminiscent of a Philly sub roll, which - now this may be polarizing - is the standard by which I judge all sub rolls. I don't think they make their own fries, but they were nice and crispy with a bit of seasoning on them and went well with our sandwiches. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was just meh - definitely steak-ums - but we are from the self-proclaimed cheesesteak capital of the world :) Don't pass up the dessert case though - I am not a sweets person, but they had this triple cheese thing that was like a cheese danish, but with a million times more cheese and just a little bit of pastry, we... uhhh... devoured it... It paired really nice with their house chocolate gelato, which was the definition of rich, decadent chocolate. The lady at the register was kind enough to allow us to try a side-by-side of the house and the machine gelato... word of advice... skip the machine, go with the house gelato - the flavor (and the serving size) knocks that name-brand, machine mumbo jumbo out of the park :) Honestly, just a great sandwich joint with a little store selling specialty items, many of which are from Italy (I will be back for some squid ink pasta the next time I am cooking for friends!).
