    Lots of food

Honestly a great spot. Super open concept with plenty of room to move around with a group of people, and family friendly so you're able to bring the kids. The restaurant area is separate from the Cole ball courts which is great. The menu is vast and there's something for everyone to try. Our favorites were the grown up twist on the PB&J, Chicken Pesto Caprese, Buffalo Cauliflower, & Açaí Bowl. Friendly Service, and still pretty chill. Hopefully the masses don't kill it too fast lol

The space was very nice but the parking situation was annoying. No one wants to pay five dollars for spaces that you can walk to. There was also a very long line for the valet. The food here was decent. The sauce for the fries were really good. They also kick you out the second your hour is up! We got double booked and had to change our reservation time. Overall, fun spot but very pricey.

This was a fun girls day. Clean spacious courts. Check-in was smooth and the workers were nice. There's a bar where the court is and a bigger one by the food section. The thing I really love were all the games available outside of pickleball. Also, we tried a few dishes and drinks and they all were delicious.

I've visited most of the Painted locations and this one to me is their best one yet. You don't have to be a pickleball pro to enjoy because there is something for everyone. Upon arriving you can either self park on the street or valet for $5 dollars. Once you enter the pickleball courts are in their own closed off area where you can book to play by the hour. There's also a separate bar in that area to order drinks. On the other side there are booths and a bar for drinks and dining where you seat yourself. The menu food options are al a carte. I had the El Diablo to drink which was very refreshing and ate the crispy rice spicy tuna roll which was flavorful and filling. On the dining side there is also other games such as darts, mini golf and ping pong. On Friday and Saturday evening they have a DJ who plays a great mix of music but keeps the vibe very relaxed. The staff are all very friendly and happy to help.

Okay! First things first since I've been saving this review but this place is perfect for game watching, a date, or to kick it and play a round of pickleball. Or, shuffle board or darts or what have you! The food was actually VERY healthy and there's plenty of seating! I had the shrimp bowl with beets and rice and the bowl was very flavorful! I also really thanked myself after because despite it having a bar feel, nothing makes you feel worse than drinking a ton and eating a ton of heavy food. There were so many choices and love that there were plenty of vegetarian options! My friend said the tofu was bomb. We came on a Sunday and it's valet only, so keep that in mind but at $5 you really can't beat that. Pickleball courts run at about $50 an hour on the weekend and are cheaper midday weekday (but then most people are working) and there's usually a wait so you'll want to put your name on the list. Unfortunately, my first time there was definitely overshadowed with a sprained ankle but, that aside, the staff was SUPER attentive and from the reception to valet, they were gracious enough to look after me on my way out haha. I'll be back. only recommendation- wear the right shoes!

This place is a vibe! Friend came to celebrate her birthday yesterday and everything was perfect from the service, food and drinks. I'll definitely return. I ordered the expresso martini and it hit the spot. Buffalo cauliflower were much favorite. Valet in $5 or if your lucky like me, you can find street parking.

We recently had our team party here and it was a great time. A bit pricey but everyone was friendly and the service was very good. Also the food was surprisingly quite nice especially for like a pickle ball place. Valet parking versus street parking. Overall a great time!

I visited Painted Pickle for the first time a few weeks ago. We came here after being at SweetWater, which is just down the road. It was about a 10min walk. I came with my wife and two of our friends. We came for some drinks and to grab a bite. We didn't come to play Pickleball...but there was still so much for us to do. There was ping-pong, cornhole, shuffleboard, mini putt-putt, darts, and a few other things as well. They have about 8 pickleball courts in the back I believe, but give or take. But the entire space is really fun. It's definitely a fun weekend vibe. It's a great culmination of eat + drink + play. Painted Pickle does a great job at creating and cultivating a nice vibe for its attendees. I do believe there is a parking lot attached, but there weren't too many spaces. I definitely recommend this place, and I'll also definitely be coming back in the future to play Pickleball!

First time playing pickleball and my first time visiting painted pickle! I must say I had an amazing time thanks to the great staff, great food, and overall beauty of the establishment. There are so many affordable food options and other pub style games to play besides pickleball so you won't be bored. There is plenty of street parking nearby but if you want to valet they have that option as well. I will definitely be back soon to get more cardio in with my friends.

We really enjoyed our time at painted pickle! Mostly because of the pickleball itself. We arrived around 2:30pm Sunday and there was a 1.5hr wait for a court so we grabbed a table and ate first (no weekend reservations). We ordered Fundido fries for 4 of us to split. It's big so it was good to split. I also had the LYONNAISE salad with grilled chicken. The salad was okay- maybe 6/10. My husband had the sushi and liked it. Cousin had the burger and while he loved it, he noted the patty is small. Once they text you that your court is ready you only have 5 min to get to the desk. If you're eating and hanging out on the other side, it's easy to miss this. That's what happened to us and we had to wait another 45min. That was a bit disappointing so I think they need to give more time or add an additional alert system. Some small changes that I think would be helpful: 1) a screen in the food/bar area that tells you when your court is ready, 2) post the pickleball rules or have a QR code to a short video with the basics, 3) reservations for at least some courts on the weekend for a small deposit fee. FYI- they let you bring cake if you're celebrating! They even held it for us while we played and gave us candles to use. Parking: $5 valet or street parking

I've played pickle many places and this is the one to beat so far. Parking isn't ideal. There is a valet charge to park in the lot and everything else is a very long curb. All of the thought that was put into building out this beautiful space and the parking is an after thought. It is beautiful. I love the mini games e.g. darts, ping pong, shuffle board, and full bars at both the restaurant and out near the courts. There are lockers, extra bathrooms and a place for spectators to sit and eat off the court. The inside of the restaurant resembles a golf course with moss and greenery. There is also a stage...maybe there will be live music or Karaoke soon. I haven't tried the food but the drinks were delicious. Prices were $50 an hour for the court and I brought my own equipment. The staff paid great attention to me and my family and the process was easy. Our food came straight to the tables near the court so we didn't have to go back and forth to the bar unless you were ordering. I'll definitely be back. If you have someone coming into town and you want to play pickle this is the impressive place you take them too.

Fantastic experience! Food was great, and the Pickle Social hour was even better!! Our family owns the local Sport Clips in Brookhaven, and while in town we were checking out the local pickle culture. Pretty awesome!

I had an amazing experience ! I loved the fact that I could get a craft cocktail, play pickleball, share appetizers and listen to live music. The decor gives a classic look with wood tone elements. The greenery decor gave a modern courtyard vibe. They also offer many pub games such as cornhole, shuffleboard + MORE! I ordered the Trio of Dips and it was delicious. The staff were very helpful in getting us reservations. The bar and wait staff were amazing. The bartenders made excellent cocktails! This is a perfect date night space, friend get together or even a venue to celebrate a birthday.

Please stop doing cosmic pickleball. Not fun and you can't see anything at all. Should be able to reserve courts on weekends too.

The max capacity for the class is 8 people, so you have to make your reservation early - this is easy enough to do on their website. They also offer round robin tournaments and other organized pickleball activities. My only gripe is that it's not easy to reserve a pickleball court if you just feel like playing on your own. Sometimes, when the weather is nice, we feel like going out for some impromptu pickleball and don't feel like competing. Still looking for places in DeKalb where we can easily reserve a court and do our own thing. I believe you can call to check availability and reserve, though.

I entered into their bleak looking entrance and discovered a well laid out interior that was clean and lively. Signs led me to the check-in desk a young, bald man with a goatee sat. I asked if he could tell me a little about the place. He gave me a hurried run down, as he appeared to look over my head avoiding eye contact the entire time. I playfully even moved myself back and forth in an attempt to meet his gaze with his twitchy diverted eye focus, because the interaction felt strange. Unnatural. After receiving some printed information from him, I purchased a cup of coffee and hung around to check out the vibe . Unfortunately, and possibly consciously, I believed that my opinion had already formed. The strange encounter with the man at the check in counter had sealed it. It was unwelcoming. It was cold. It was intentional. It really is a shame. With the density of this area, we could use an alternative to Pickle and Social. As for me, however, this place is not it, and if you know, you know.

We spent the majority of our time either playing pickleball or watching pickleball (both on the indoor and outdoor courts due to some rain), but the facility did a great job (along with the PPA) in navigating the large crowds and keeping the tournament going.
