Awesome experience! My hubby and I came for a date night and it didn't disappoint. They change their theme every few months, so when we went it was Pulp Fiction (the movie) themed. The story telling of the drinks paired with the small bites was well thought out. The lighting in the bus also changed with the drink course. There's a small crew of three people working and they were all pleasant. We can't wait to come back when then theme changes again.

Tigersun is such a unique spot--the fact that it's inside a bus makes for a super cute and funky atmosphere, with great lighting that made us feel like we were in a different time. The experience is mainly focused on their drinks, which each come with a small food item. One downside is that it's not very vegetarian-friendly, as all the included food items contain meat. As a pescatarian, I wasn't able to eat one of my food items, but the manager noticed and went out of their way to bring me something I could eat from a restaurant across the street. That level of attentiveness was truly appreciated! All of the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely return!

I am SO glad my friend invited me to try Tiger Sun with her. I had a blast! This isn't your run-of-the-mill Atlanta happy hour nor meal, so if trying different flavors and omakase-style dining experience isn't your thing, either go in open minded or leave the competitive reservations for others who will appreciate it. We had a 5pm seating on a Friday and while the "happy hour" seating time was great, it was hilarious to have been in the dark/red lit interior of the bus for almost 2 hours then back out into the (still) daytime lol. If it's still the Karate Kid theme by the time you visit, I highly recommend the caviar bump + wagyu skewers. They were a perfect addition to the curated bites and bevs. We weren't sure if we'd be full/satisfied based on the size of the bites, but I was very good by the end. I'll definitely be back when they change the theme (hint: I'm writing this end of March 2025 and it's soon). The hosts/sensei/team were so personable - it really felt like they each enjoy working inside that bus haha. They were fun + high energy and it definitely added to the experience! The only thing I wish was different is the length of the seating time. I'm a bit of a leisurely diner and the experience is pretty strictly timed. I won't say I felt rushed, but once the courses began - they moved quickly. I would have loved more time to kinda chill and absorb each bite/drink before the next one was served. Otherwise, this was just about a perfect time. Parking is either in the Muchacho parking lot or across the street in the retail parking + deck.

10/10 experience! Food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. We got the steak as an extra and it was super tasty. Also, the commitment to the theme was the cherry on top!

Tiger sun was a really fun dining experience. It's located on a remodeled bus behind Muchacho. I snagged a reservation for one and ironically was seated with another yelp elite. The menu is a prefix with a drink pairing and there are two menu options. Some items I loved but others weren't my cup of tea. The menu theme changes periodically. Right now the theme is Karate Kid. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back

Chic ambiance. Love the decor

Overall a great experience at this omakase style cocktail bar. It's a decked out coach bus with really thoughtful service but didn't think the drinks were very strong and the food wasn't very memorable. Overall would return especially when they rotate out their theme/featured movie that they base their menu on. Definitely should check it out for date night or a fun night with friends. What an incredible evening! So much fun, and so many wonderful flavors. You have to be ready to go along for the ride since you can't pick your menu, but everything I tasted was delicious. Even drinks with ingredients I don't normally like were created with such high quality I enjoyed them as well. The entire evening was a performance by the staff and I can't wait to go back!

We loved our time here! What a fun and unique experience. We'd definitely come again and probably uber because there's not much parking.

Super quirky experience in a refurbished bus behind Muchacho. Reservations are tough to get, so follow Instagram for the bi-weekly reservation drop. There are two menus and I was thankful there was a non-seafood one. The cocktails and bites were fun, but you might find this slightly less filling than a full meal and may need a pre/post snack. The first theme was Karate Kid and it will be fun to see what the next theme will be.

Stepping into Tiger Sun Atlanta felt like entering a scene from The Karate Kid--where tradition meets bold, modern energy. The movie themed flavors are as fierce as a well-placed crane kick, with every dish striking the perfect balance of artistry and power. The atmosphere exudes a sense of discipline and passion, much like Mr. Miyagi's teachings, and the service is as sharp and precise as a well-trained martial artist. Whether you're here to train your taste buds or just enjoy a flawless dining experience, Tiger Sun is the ultimate dojo of flavor. Wax on, wax off--then dig in! So much fun, and will definitely go back!!

This place kind of gives a slight speakeasy vibe since the sign isn't visible (if it weren't for the corded of line and bouncer outside, you might miss it), and the inside of it was absolutely breathtaking with its art deco-like interior--I mean they honestly know how to make a first great impression. The only item I ordered when I was there was a classic margarita (although they had other enticing drink options), which was great and had a slight heavy pour (which I prefer)! Hot tip: check out their instagram stories if you want to see who's DJing that night, so you can see if it's your vibe. I, unfortunately, forgot to do that that night, but the music was great for the most part! The only issue is that the DJ would switch between a great fast-paced Afrobeats or Hip-Hop song and slow R&B jams, which kind of killed the vibe a bit for me, but I still had a time! Highly recommend checking this place and def look up the DJ to prep for your night out!

It felt like stepping into a club in the 70s with the velvets, rich colors and wallpaper but still had a modern feel. We had 8:30 reservations which is apparently early to get there. It was basically empty at that time but we didn't mind because it gave us time to sit and eat. The DJ arrived a little before 10 p.m. and the crowd started to come in. Before it got crowded, we ordered the tostones appetizer and the ropa vieja. The tostones were good and crispy and gave more of a plantain chip texture. It came with 3 sauces and I thought the green sauce was a garlic sauce but it was more herby with a little acid. Either way, we enjoyed it. The ropa vieja was delicious! The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. Now, the rice was a coconut rice and it was a little sweeter than I prefer but the savory flavor of the beef helped. The service was good and at times too attentive. I know that sounds crazy to say because sometimes you go somewhere and have to search for your server but our server came to ask us how everything was every 5 minutes. It was hard to get into our conversation because he came over so much but I guess that's better than nothing. By the time we left a little after midnight, the place was crowded. The crowd was mixed in every way but seemed to be more young people. The DJ was really good and played a lot of mixes (i.e. an amapiano version of "I want to dance with somebody". Good vibes.

Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical…read more Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.

The food was very good, but it did take a little time. I believe because it's a scratch kitchen. It was worth the wait. Our servers name was Langston and he took really good care of us. He made sure to check on us and explain the menu as well. Our drinks did take a lot more time to get to the table. It's a cute and trendy place, but the only thing I would change was the placing of tables because when people are passing by, it was very difficult. If someone was in a wheelchair, it could be a problem getting into the tight spaces. The last thing would also be drink order is coming out in a timely manner. Overall, service was great and food was very good.

Almost the entire menu is seasonal, aside from their classics, like the fry bread (which is a MUST), because that pepperoni butter is EVERYTHING. If you're there late over the weekend, it shifts from a packed restaurant to a packed bar with a DJ. I find the cocktails to be not quite as tasty as with dinner, but still a good time to be had.
