The decor is beautiful and has a warm, intimate feel with lots of greenery, statement lighting, and a really nice bar area. It was a great setting for the event, although it did get pretty crowded with everyone packed into the space. I ordered the short rib with sweet mashed potatoes and it was really good. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and the sweet mashed potatoes paired really well with it. The portion was also surprisingly large, especially for a restaurant with this type of atmosphere. I definitely had more than enough food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I came here with a group of six while celebrating a friend's 40th birthday, and this was hands down the best food we had all weekend! The glazed Brussels sprouts were SOOOOO freaking good!!! Every single person at the table kept talking about them, so they're definitely a must-order!! I'm vegan, and I really appreciated that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu that's easy to adjust to be vegan-friendly. Plenty of sides options as well, which is what I went with since I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I plantains, fries, coconut rice, brussels sprouts and everything was really flavorful. The vibe was great too! They have a really nice indoor space along with comfortable outdoor seating on an open patio. We went on a Sunday night, and there was a DJ playing music inside. I eventually had to ask them to close the door. The staff did honor the Groupon despite some initial confusion, which I appreciated. However, once the taxes and automatic gratuity were added, the experience didn't really feel like much of a value anymore. That said, the food itself was good, and we were satisfied with the options we selected. Went here for a bday dinner. We had a private room to ourselves which was very dimly lit. We had to ask them to turn the lights up because we could barely read the menu. They said it was part of the "aesthetic." The food was actually really amazing and everyone in my party enjoyed. My only complaint is the server barely checked in on us and didn't ask if we needed anything. We had to ask for water about 20-30 minutes after being seated. So not a fan of only valet that I have to pay for. Came in on a Saturday night maybe 7 or so. I think it was just us and another couple there initially. Cute quaint spot. Very intimate looking on the inside. The seating puts you extremely close to the people in the next table and the waitress's "body" was over our table while speaking with the table next to us. Terrible service, we waited 40 minutes to be greeted with reservation. My card was over charge by $50 the server said it was an "accident" yet the table next to us experienced similar errors. My husband believed she was running a scam !! Food took long, and was just okay.. nothing good enough to rectify the night. We were told management was working remotely from another location so we could not talk to them but once the waitress returned from "calling" them we soon found out that the night manager was not concerned either.
