I'm vegan, and I really appreciated that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu that's easy to adjust to be vegan-friendly. Plenty of sides options as well, which is what I went with since I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I plantains, fries, coconut rice, brussels sprouts and everything was really flavorful. Went here for a bday dinner. We had a private room to ourselves which was very dimly lit. We had to ask them to turn the lights up because we could barely read the menu. They said it was part of the "aesthetic." The food was actually really amazing and everyone in my party enjoyed. My only complaint is the server barely checked in on us and didn't ask if we needed anything. We had to ask for water about 20-30 minutes after being seated. Terrible service, we waited 40 minutes to be greeted with reservation. My card was over charge by $50 the server said it was an "accident" yet the table next to us experienced similar errors. My husband believed she was running a scam !! Food took long, and was just okay.. nothing good enough to rectify the night. We were told management was working remotely from another location so we could not talk to them but once the waitress returned from "calling" them we soon found out that the night manager was not concerned either. We were one of only two tables in the restaurant, yet service was extremely slow from the start. When I asked aloud for a cocktail menu, the bartender didn't acknowledge me and instead went to find our server, which made things very awkward.
