    Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla

I stopped by Buteco for a quick snack. The bartender was really nice and I was immediately greeted. They offer Brazilian street food along with drinks. The menu offers appetizers, like yuca fries, and also other things like tacos, taco bowls, and quesadillas. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla ($8). It was delicious, but small. You have the option of getting it with grilled or fried shrimp. I opted for grilled shrimp. The food and vibes are amazing, but food items like tacos are overpriced in my opinion. Tacos start at $5 for 1 taco. They do offer a smaller crunchy ground turkey taco for 2 for $6 though. There is ample parking and they have inside and outside dining options.

Service: friendly Wait time: 20min Food: Ok You order in the bar (the bartender takes your order) and it's cooked in a food truck that sits right outside. You can sit in the bar or outside by the food truck. Both areas are pretty small. Overall the food was just ok. Also, considering the cost, I expected bigger portions.

Loved my experience. I was a little weary of the menu but just go for it! It's all good! The bartender is so sweet, friendly, knowledgeable, and beautiful inside and out. She genuinely loves the history of drinks, bartending, food! She's so smart it's crazy. I highly recommend you grab their Thyme drink while it's still in season. Best and most creative drink I've had in a while. The chef came in. She checked on my husband and I as she passed through. She made us feel so special. She has a really huge love for food comparable to that of the lovely bartender. And boy can she cook. Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. That girl can COOK! The red salad was delicious. It's different from your basic red salsa. It's minced well but watery or chunky. Everything is fresh. Period. The ambiance was amazing even though we were the only people there at the time. I'm going back, wish I was there now actually! Thanks for the great experience yall!

Wednesday nights are my favorite night to come to bunco because they always have great DJs and music, the drinks are pretty affordable and the food truck outside is always tasty. The crowd is pretty chill, sometimes 40 and older but they are not afraid to have a good time and dance like nobody's watching. You never have to wait long at the bar for a drink and you have the option to sit inside in 2 areas or hangout on the patio on a nice day. Random: I like the posters on the bathroom walls.

The ambiance is always amazing. Great intimate venue with incredible vibes. Nothing pretentious, just great music and organic energy. I went to check out the Jam Session Thursday and loved it. The food was ok. I ordered the fried cod but got grilled so a slight oversight. It was alright but fried was better from what I saw someone else eating. It also took a while to get it so they can work on that. The bartender was extremely helpful though. I have this place on my list and as the weather becomes more beautiful I expect to be there more often.

Never had a Birria taco until today and I Loved it! Literally ate it for lunch then came back for dinner! The Feyvorita drink was just the right touch as well. Caipirinha was just okay to me. Chef couldn't talk so he wrote me a note to communicate. That's service!!!! The bar staff was knowledgeable and felt like old friends. I was here a few years ago and didn't love it too much, so I enjoy the change.

Wonderful food- long long wait but there was live music and cheap drinks so it wasn't a problem

Such a cool spot, great place to chill and listen to music while sipping on a cocktail. DJ spinning on a weeknight and I believe they also occasionally have live music. Place had constant traffic on a Wednesday. I ordered a Rio veggie dog with red and green peppers, mashed potatoes, carrots, and shoestring potatoes $13. Very unique and unlike any hot dog I've ever had, although it was pretty good I'm not sure I'll order it again, not sure if I'm sold on the mash potatoes in a bun. Definitely will return.

Didn't ask for extra crispy but it was received

The prices for miniature tacos not worth it. The drinks are decent. If customer service matters to you then this place should be avoided.

Stopped by for coffee one weekday morning. Plenty of parking in The Beacon. I was welcomed by a friendly barista/bartender as soon as I entered. The space is bright, fun and colorful. Ample seating indoor. There were only 3 customers at the time. I ordered an oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey and sat down to do some work. Within minutes, the barista brought me my drink. The latte was solid. Great flavor, too. I really enjoyed it and will return if I'm in the area!

I've been coming to Buteco since it opened, however, I stopped in tonight and was made to feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable. Be wary.

The entrance code can be obtained from their website or local hotel concierges. Dial the number on the antique phone and the door magically opens. The staff super friendly and helpful. The bartenders are the best, clearly passionate about their work. I highly encourage you to try one or several of their signature cocktails. I sampled the Left Bank Martini and Vesper. As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. Lots of niche areas with couch reservations, pool table available. No time for a cigar but that is on my list when I return. Food available from their upstairs sister restaurant.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!
