Overall I thought both were good, the waji was a little too saucy for me and the agog a little too little of sauce. Both slices were about 5 bucks each and I think that's probably the best pizza slice deal in the neighborhood and you can take it to go or eat it there, they do warm it up for you though and that takes a few minutes. Pizza is my favorite food, so I have been trying to find somewhere to satisfy my pizza craving after moving from NY. This sadly has not. My friends and I came here on Pi day for the deal and it was super busy! It took 30 minutes for the pizzas we ordered to come out (they warned us). They were also very very nice and the cashier at the front was very hospitable. I also ordered a slice of fresh plain cheese at the front and was allowed to choose which slice I wanted. It was a little bit of a pricey slice compared to what I am used to, but nothing crazy. The actual taste of the pizza was pretty mediocre. The sauce was missing that flavor that makes pizza. They are also thin crust pizzas, but the actual crust wasn't crispy. So it was soggy thin crust pizza :(. The primo slice is the best vegetarian option if you like the marinated peppers on top. It tasted more like an open face sandwich, but it was good. I wouldn't come back here with high hopes of yummy pizza. That being said, I have high pizza standards, but the pricing of this pizza validates high standards. If you're a Seattleite and grew up here, Pagliacci is a staple. As a long time Seattleite, I want to give a huge shout out to the owners and the hard working staff that tirelessly turn out hand tossed pizzas. I used to go to the old Cap Hill location and watch the World Cup games in which Italy played at like 2 am. The owner would sometimes join and give us free pizza. This was before super high speed internet and it was a Azzurri community. Between the donations to schools and free pizza days, Pagliacci is amazing. As someone who was born in Rome, Pagliacci is uniquely Washington pizza. The crust resembles pizza Bianca from Rome, and the topping combinations seem northwest/italian inspired. I love the AGOG, heirloom tomato pizza, and the sausage. The Sicilian salad has a nice mix of sweet and savory notes and the raisins give it a nice crunch factor. The breadsticks are delicious baked fresh, and the marinara is a tad bit runny for my taste but it pairs well with the breadsticks. I miss the pesto salad. Man, it was huge for the price. When I think of Seattle pizza I think of Pagliacci. It's as home as brown bear, pink elephant, the hurricane cafe, Linda's, and Vita. I could go on and on and Pagliacci's is the fan favorite for so many important events. Lastly, I love the locations. The design of each spot is clean, family friendly, and the Italian posters nostalgic. Tuesday's they have a buy one get one free deal for the personal sized 11" pizzas. Came for the deal and we were overcharged at first, but they fixed it pretty quickly. Pizzas here are great if you like a thinner, less dough-ey pizza. We ordered the crostada and roman holiday. Will say the crostada was pretty interesting tastes like a french onion soup but in pizza form, highly recommend. The homeless guy outside the store is a little angry but vibes inside are nice. My company ordered Pagliacci for a celebration we were having and i tried 2 out of the 6 different pizzas that they ordered, Primo and Spinach & Chicken. These two were a little underwhelming. Both had light sauce and hard to bite into crust. The Primo had a good balance between veggies and meat in each slice. Spinach & Chicken was a bit spicier than i expected. The chicken was light. Each slice had way more spinach than chicken. Out of the two, i have to say my most favorite was the Primo. Overall, i will give them another shot. Today, June 25, Pagliacci, in participating locations, has a promotion for 2 free slices (any of the 4 kinds: cheese, extra pepperoni, Hawaiian, Italiano) per person, 11am-3pm. I ended up trying them all anyways, to get a more varied perspective of the qualities of the pizza slices here. Overall, I would say that the pizza is like slightly better than Costco quality, though for regular price of $3.50-$4.25 per slice, it is not the best deal. The pizza slices are still quite large, however, so this place is ideal for the quantity over quality type of place. My personal ranking of the pizzas (of the 4 that I tried) are: Italiano, Hawaiian, Cheese, Pepperoni I really love the Italiano - the basil and especially the garlic make it so flavorful. I do wish my slice had more garlic. Hawaiian is controversial due to "pineapple on pizza" debate but because I personally embrace pineapple on top of pizza, this is solid. The ham slices were a bit dry. Cheese, although somewhat plain, is pretty solid. It was a little one dimensional though as there weren't variety of cheeses in that slice (but I can't really complain as this slice is regularly priced at $3.50, about $1 cheaper than the other options). Pepperoni was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping the pepperoni was crunchy from how it looked, but it was cardboard like texture. Sure, the flavor is there, but I wouldn't really recommend it even though it seemed to be a relatively popular option, about the same popularity as the Italiano. read more

My family ordered vegan pizzas and the options are great considering it is hard to find good quality vegan pizza options. The crust is great not too thick, not too thin. They even have a vegan meat option. It's best to eat in, they have plenty of seating and it's a little industrial feel but still warm feeling. The windows offer great views all around. Pagliacci Pizza is all over Seattle, this location in Cap Hill, which I believe is their flagship store now, it's a lot bigger than some others spots, same menu to me. It's right on E. Pike St, a few blocks up from Starbucks Reserve. We had to order a pizza for pickup, so we called and they said it would be ready in like 25 mins. We walked over, got there a little early and the pizza was already ready, willing & able for our taking. We ordered a large pizza: half Hawaiian, half Sausage & Mushrooms. We also ordered a large salad: Sicilian Spicy Chicken Salad. The pizza was freshly made, nice & hot, I properly hold the pizza slice with my professional grip, I should've asked them to make it more crispy as I like my pizza on the crisp side, not a big fan of the flop.Toppings were plenty and delicious, very satisfied on that part. Crust was good and overall we all enjoyed the pizza. (one bite, everybody knows the rules.....score it at 7.4). The Sicilian Spicy Chicken Salad is my fave salad there and that was easily destroyed by us, also very good. Staff was friendly, easy pickup process, this location is nice, you can get slices, you don't have to order a full pizza, they have beer & wine, good amount of tables for dining in, prices are not cheap as pizza isn't cheap food anymore, but it's the going rate around here.
