4 stars for food, 5 stars for atmosphere, ease, menu selections, portion size and bonus - trivia night! We had a medium pizza and two 'half' size salads that were excellently huge. I had the chop salad and thought it was tasty (did I mention it was large?), I felt the croutons were a bit oppressive and the salad could have used more meaty bits. We also had the Greek salad and it got great reviews. We had a mushroom and spinach pizza and opinions were equally split between 'good' and 'loved it'. Personally I felt it could have used more flavor, but the other opinion was a love of the freshness of the sauce and toppings. Stumbled into Zeeks one night for dinner with a friend. Something about the aroma of a pizzeria, with outdoor seating and a cool fall breeze blowing in off the sound really gets me every time. Though I've heard about Zeeks many times, surprisingly this was my first visit, and WOW I was impressed. They have a huge selection of beers on tap, and also a couple ciders! (Wish there were more but, c'est la vie) The pies are sized in 3 ways Mini/Personal, medium, and large. There are a huge selection of Signature pies, but what I really liked was the build your own where you can customize your own with whatever you'd like. If looking for a tip, I suggest the "Puget Pounder" what a great name for a pizza, or your next AOL screen name HAHA I have no complaints here. Got the medium super margarita and forager as part of their Tuesday deal. Even with the deal it was almost $60 for two pizzas. I loved the mushrooms on the forager and the basil on the margarita- hard to pick which was my favorite between the two. We picked up the pizzas and brought them back but they weren't that warm. Once we broiled it in the oven at home, that brought it up a notch. It was crispier and better after cooking it some more at home. It was good, but I wouldn't say it's my first choice for pizza in Seattle. It's definitely way too pricey for what you get. Had to ask the staff for Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper packets before leaving. They counted out three packets of each for us which I thought was weird but at least they didn't charge for it. read more

Pretty casual restaurant with plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. We went on a Sunday night and were seated immediately. I loved that they have the option to create your own pizza. They had plenty of choices for toppings and bases which was so great and almost overwhelming. We opted for the half and half option so we were able to try the caramel used onion base (which was super unique and tasty) and the tomato base. The box says "Fuel your stoke." Unfortunately, its contents are nothing to be stoked about. Imagine a colorless, pale pie that never knew love, with a flavorless, chewy crust and a $40 price tag. "Zeeks!" is the onomatopoeia I yelp when I think of what a waste of money this wretchedly dull pizza is, despite going here again and again because it's the closest place. read more

The Good: Pizza was phenomenal! I love how zeeks has creative base sauces and lots of toppings on their pizza. Also, $36 for a large pizza is quite a good deal. Ambiance was nice! We sat on their patio which is quite nice! The Bad: Service was not so good. 2/3 of our drinks were wrong. I ordered a dry cider and got a blackberry cider. My friend ordered a blueberry muffin sour and got a apricot sour. Not sure if this was the servers fault, the bartender, or if the tap list was wrong on the wall. Our pizza also took about 30 minutes to come out. It wasn't super busy in there either to warrant the long wait. After we were done eating, we waited about 20-25 minutes and our server never came back over to provide the check. I've been to a couple other Zeeks and sometimes they bring the check but sometimes you go to the counter to pay. Not exactly sure the procedure at this location but we saw our server bring the check to other tables. Eventually, I just ended up going to pay at the counter. read more

Most recently, I ordered gluten free, dairy free Zeeks pizza for delivery. My pizza showed up missing half the toppings. I called, they were kind enough to resend. An hour later, the new pizza showed up...missing half the toppings. I gave up. The thing is I really like Zeek's GF crust. Maybe it's best if you eat at the restaurant. Cute and small place on a corner in seattle near the Space Needle. We were given the last booth available and the place was a little quiet. You order from your phone and pay the bill on your phone which we weren't told upon sitting. We were confused why it was taking so long hahaha. We got the Pepperoni pizza medium. The crunch was great and it had just the right amount of grease! I personally wasn't a big fan of the sauce and ingredients but the way it was cooked was perfect so it's just personal opinion on the flavor! The older woman that brought us our food was so awesome. Zeeks is a nice, classic, average local pizza chain worth visiting. They have some unique pizzas on their menu. We picked up a large Tree Hugger for dinner last night. I appreciated the variety of veggies on the pizza (broccoli, artichoke, etc.) but I will say this pizza needs to be eaten hot. It got soggy rather quickly, but I could tell that it would've been great had we dined in, hence why I'm giving it 3 stars rather than 2. I'm not a huge fan of big roma tomato slices and the number of these is probably what contributed to the pizza getting soggy fast. The staff was nice and it looks like they have a variety of beer to offer for dine in. I think Zeeks has a lot of potential even with the average takeout experience we had. I have no words. Given that Zeek's can be found in most Seattle neighborhoods you would think that making personal connections would matter. Instead we weren't allowed to engage with our server and instead were forced to use a QR code to order our meal (ps Covid is over). Further, we made the egregious error of attempting to order a second cocktail at 9:08 PM only to be told that it was too late even though we were only halfway through our meal. No one called last call or checked on us to see if we needed anything. We are in the service industry ourselves and would be mortified if we were forced to provide this level of impersonal shoddy service. I've always liked Zeek's; great pies. This location is small ( at least as compared to the Issaquah one I know best) but comfortable. I've gone in for lunchtime slices recently, always heated quickly and are as good as their full, fresh pies. The crew is always active, making pies and taking care of the place. For some reason they remind me of the folks at the Seattle restaurants of my youth in the 70's & 80's. I mean this as a compliment without knowing how or why. Jones soda is the only question mark. It's local and it's tasty...and it's so sweet to my palate. If they asked my guidance I'd ask for Coke. But they haven't yet so I won't let this deter me from great pizza at great local shop. read more

First time exploring a pizza joint in Queen Anne and it was a great experience. The beer selection was good. Particularly the Hot Tropic beer. The pizza was scrumptious with tasteful ingredients and toppings. I created my own pizza with sausage, pepperoni, diced Roma tomatoes, cilantro, and basil on top with mozzarella cheese, and of course red tomatoes sauce. The breading to the pizza was toasty and the crust was not too hard to chew. They do have outdoor patio seating. Good for large groups because they have a long picnic bench style table in the center of the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly with us and our three kids. The staff were so accommodating they even allowed our double jogging stroller inside to be parked in the corner by the table. This allowed us to keep an eye on our toddler who was taking a nap in the stroller. read more

I'd give a no star if possible. I've been going to Zeek's on Upper Queen Anne for years. Best pizza and salads in town. Staff is fantastic. However, a month ago I was turned away "because we're out of dough." Huh? You're a pizza parlor!!! Tonite at 8pm on a Friday, turned away again with lots of empty tables. "No seating. We're backed up an hour and a half." I'm DONE! They may have the best pizza i town, but they are NOT reliable! Their business model just SUCKS! If they can't hire enough staff and have to turn people away, they'll be outa business in no time. If you want fantastic pizza that you CAN'T GET, go to Zeek's.
