I have always been skeptical of stereo shops and have always done my own installs because of the horror stories you hear about shops overcharging you for wires you buy but don't actually install them. But buying a 2018 Honda Civic SI, I didn't want to take the chance of screwing up a brand new system due to all the extra electronics new cars have. So I went by and spoke with a great salesman named Andy and he was able to answer all my questions and assured me that there would be no funny stuff happening and would make sure everything I purchased would be in the car. After the car was done I went by to pick it up and I have to admit the system sounded really good and I was very pleased on how it was installed. They did an amazing job and I am very pleased with the sound and how my car was taken care of. Seems to be the reason why they are still around and growing and the other shops in riverside are either dying or are completely gone. I went here today to have a couple of JL coaxial 6 1/2" speakers installed in my rear doors on my 2016 Chevy Cruze, it was a quick install and a very fair price seeing as they kept the factory brackets and connectors and were working in 105 degree heat on a Saturday. Worst decision I have ever made. I purchased my truck brand new and decided to install a new stereo. I paid almost $3,000 with "Warranty". The first year it worked fine but then it started to randomly go silent and the stereo would turn off every time the auto off function was triggered at a stop sign etc. First they told me it was normal. Of course it wasn't. It wasn't doing that before the installation and during the first year. They then asked me to take the truck around 8 to 10 times for a period of 8 months. They would tell me it was fixed and 1 hour later it started to do the same again. I had a lot of patients and lost a lot of business since this is my work truck. At the end they installed a device that overrides the auto off function and still charged me for it even though it was to correct their mistake. 1 month after that " fix" it is not turning off in the stop lights but is going randomly silent and the system is no longer working at all. I will not go back to. Them because I 'm now tired of loosing my time with them.So disappointed not just because of my $3,000 but because They messed up my new Trucks audio system. Be careful they do have a lot of good reviews but in my case they totally did me wrong. read more

Awesome installation!! pretty decent price for the overall outcome...I had a double din radio installed with the backup camera and it looks great, I just called before but just walked in about 30 minutes later and they started right away! The whole process took about two hours since the backup camera was more difficult. I had school later on and they worked with me to do it quick as they could. Highly recommend them! I was there a few days ago and was looking for an amp install kit, talked to the rep behind the counter and after some discussion he suggested that it would be less expensive if I made my own, so he hooked me up with the necessary parts. Went back there to get some speakers for my Harley, Jose was extremely helpful, he even priced matched to another store. He even helped me with the right adapters to make the speakers fit properly. Oh..btw he even threw in some wire taps at no charge. I would say that the customer service there is great. read more

Total Rip off, I had a full kit for a light bar that they said would take 4 or 5 hours at minimum for $100 an hour, so I went down the street to advanced car Stereo who charged me almost nothing compared to what they said and it took only an hour and a half! Wouldn't recommend it... read more

i was referred to pacific stereo by a friend of mine that had a stereo system installed in his boat. So i decided to come and get a navagation system installed in my car so when i walked in i was greeted by a person named joe as well. He showed me a alpine w960 for my durango rt and gave it to me for 125 under msrp plus a little bit of labor to put it in and still was under msrp. Never do business with this place!! I'll make this as short as I can: Their price match guarantee is a lie. When you present them with a competitors price that is lower they do not match it. They will tell you "This is the best I can do" and give you a slight price break but not match it. Plus I called Kenwood Corporation and found out they are not even and authorized dealer. So if something goes wrong with your Kenwood purchase it's not even under warranty so you are screwed. I would give them 0 stars (no stars at all) Do yourself a favor......Stay away!! read more
