I came back twice to get it fixed but each time the owner himself made sure I was taking care of. He also upgraded me on what I bought to make sure the drive was worth it. Recently, I purchased a new car, but, unfortunately, it didn't have Bluetooth. However, David at Hertz car sales told me to go to Pacific Stereo and speak to Andy....he'd heard a lot of good things about him. So, I did and I'm so thankful that I did! Andy didn't try to hard sell me anything extra or more expensive items (which I ended up doing solely based on my teenagers' suggestions). However, the most important things to me were his professionalism, knowledge, and patience. I'm not very "tech savvy" and he answered hundreds of my probably silly questions and even showed me how to use my new Bluetooth, rear-mirror back up camera and my Apple-Play. I am leaving my old review so people can see that my experience with Pacific Stereo started off rocky. I will accept responsibility for not doing my pricing homework up front. I will also place responsibility on gouging me on Pacific Stereo as the general expectation is the companies that want to be in business for a long time find that balance of profitability for their business while still doing what's best for their customer. Joe Ihmud their owner clearly understands keeping the customer happy and focusing on a fair price for both parties. He took the time to figure out who I was, look for my order and then reach out to me to discuss what was done. Joe went as far as refunding me the difference. I still stand by my earlier comment that their selection is great and their installers do great work. The fact that Joe went out of his way to reach out to me given that he's trying to run a business and probably has a lot to do to run that business shows that he cares about his customers. I wanted to bring my brand new 2018 Honda to a place that is used to tearing up new cars and stay away from the ghetto so I called a place in Orange County and they recommended this shop that was closer to me. I talked to Gus on the phone and scheduled an appointment to get my windows tinted. They got me in quick and the job was done flawlessly. I have been going to pacific stereo for over 10 years now. And in that period of time I have probably had over 70 cars yes way to many but I love change. Now our daughters take their cars there as well. So every time I get a new car I need a new system window tint rims and tires can't stop at just music lol. At the moment I am building a 2016 jeep rubicon and have already ordered my rims and tires from them. Then will be ordering everything else. He showed me three different options, explain the pricing, and insurance coverage. He also promised to do the job in an hour if I were to install that day. We were looking for a same day install on an overhead video system in our Tahoe. Not only did they answer the phone right when they opened, but they assured us they could do a same day install and have us on our way. Picking out the system was easy. That friendly staff went right to the best product and made us feel comfortable with the features and quality. Alpine is the way to go! They completed the install while we ate lunch and did some new home walk throughs. Overall it took about 4 hours, just what they told us it would be. Upon walking in I did not have my mask. I was given one and learned more about how serious it is. I got two front speakers done in my truck . BEYOND HAPPY!!! ANDY FROM PACIFIC STEREO, YOU ARE THE MAN!!! I have a Mercedes 2007 SL 550, I wanted a after market stereo with Navigation and Bluetooth. Simple I thought, not with Best Buy! I went to Best Buy and got my system installed, it was so bad that i took it back and had them take it all out! They had no idea what they were doing, I lost a few of my speaker sounds, all of my base was gone! When i talked to manager, he referred me to the Stereo Tech guy from Best Buy who trains all the techs. He told me that I could never have a good quality system with a after market stereo in my Mercedes, that Mercedes made it difficult for that reason. WHAT? THAT CRAZY! WE HAVE MEN ON THE MOON, BUT I CAN'T HAVE GOOD QUALITY SOUND IN A AFTER MARKET STEREO BECAUSE ITS A MERCEDES ???? !!!!! I must say Joe and his team here are amazing. I have a 2013 Honda Accord and I bought an Alpine HU from here and then got a custom harness so I could keep the factory HU in the car for the cameras to work. They installed everything and made it look factory in the process. Such an amazing job and looks phenomenal. I went there with this car because back in the day I had a 2001 Toyota Echo and they installed door lock actuators since it was a manual lock setup before. Have been a customer for over 3 years now and I have never been disappointed. I have been having problems with my speakers blowing out so whenever I have that issue, Jose comes through and fixes it up since I have the warranty. However, I went a couple ago to get it fixed once again and some bald guy, Chris, was being so rude. He was extremely unprofessional & just customer service was shit. Not sure if he had a long day or whatever the reason might be but I didn't like the way he was treating me. I asked to get my speakers fixed and he was treating me like I didn't know what I was asking for. I had told him we've done this before with Jose and I had no problem. He also blamed me for blowing my speakers multiple times. I asked if I could make an appointment and he was very hesitant and booked me for a Sunday April 4 at 9 AM. I showed up for my appointment on time & they told me I didn't have an appointment and thay 10 cars were infront of me so I had to wait. It was my birthday that day and I was coming from Orange County so it was very inconvenient. I couldn't believe I drove all the way early as hell on my damn birthday and that bald man didn't make my appointment. Bullshit!! Loved this place before but after this I'm never coming back. A friend of mine suggested that I use Pacific Stereo to have my stereo installed when I picked up my truck I noticed that the dash was cracked and some saw marks where they installed the stereo. Brought it back and show Andy who said no worries he would take care of it. I was a little concerned as I know my F250 Dash is obsolete. I gave Andy the time to find a new one and that he did it was in better shape than my old one. He called me to bring the truck back down so they can install it. They also installed a microphone for my Bluetooth at no charge. It didn't bother me that the piece got damaged as long as they were willing to fix it.
