I was having a problem with the doors locking on my truck. I asked them if they can fix the locks and alarm on the truck. I brought the truck home when they were done and there was no fix. My door didn't lock. Went back and let them know. They said they fixed the problem, took it home and it would lock occasionally. Took it back a 3rd time, they said they fixed it it and yet it wouldn't lock. It was a huge waste of my time and money. I wouldn't recommend them to family, friends, or co-workers. read more

I've been doing business with Joe and his crew since they first opened years ago. My latest project was getting wheels and tires for my 2018 Mercedes Benz S560. Joe helped from the get go! We picked out some beautiful 22" monoblock Lexani's. Joe personally called Lexani and told them exactly what I wanted. Came here to check out if they have dash video camera recorder, they carries various brand and Jose helped me at the store, he showed me this Kenwood camera which it's really nice but they were out of stock. They quickly ordered for me and said the camera will be in three to four days. I ordered at the spot including hard wire installation. The camera came in as they promised. Ive had several other things installed on my truck since my first visit including a probar, multicolor leds for the interior, a tailgate lightbar and subs and an amp. Fair pricing and top notch service each and every time. On one occasion, I informed Joe that the bed of my truck recently had a spray in installed and I preferred not to have boots working in and out of it unprotected. Although You would think with their ratings they'd be pretty honest and informative people. The guy that helped me had the worst personality ever. Super rude. He informed me the products he felt I needed after telling him exactly what I wanted. I was charged 700$ which I thought was kinda high but I trusted them again my fault but at the same time you should build a trustworthy business and reputation. They gave me absolute dog sh*t. Wasn't what I wanted at all, they literally charged me 700$ for the exact same thing I had before. Years later I came back hoping they'd give me a good deal since I wasn't happy the last time and help me out on installing a underglow light kit on my car. They said they could do it for $800.... Are you kidding me !!!???? Same day I went down the street to another stereo place and got it installed for $250 and was very happy. These guys are complete rip offs. DO NOT COME HERE. Pacific Stereo was recommended by my service writer at Toyota of Riverside. Our 2010 FJ Cruiser had the plain stereo, cd, radio that Toyota has been installing for two decades. Andy helped me out and got me into a really cool Pioneer unit with navigation, Bluetooth and a module to enable Sirius/ XM. Just like that our FJ was transformed into a modern vehicle. Their installer did a great job and Andy was very helpful in selection and in tutoring post install. The only problem is Pacific does not have a waiting room. Five hours is a long time to wait in a showroom, even one with as much good stuff as this one. I took a walk to Tyler Mall. Got my exercise and took in a movie. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on what's hot. Sometimes I would go there just to hang out. The showroom is full of products from floor to celling so you don't have to worry about them not having something in stock. And all the installation work oven seen them produce has been A1. I called to get warranty replacement on my focal tweeters, Joe offered a new replacement free of charge, he didn't even accept that I pay at least the shipping charge, he insisted that he will take care of that cost. Andy helped me get 2 vehicles done here brand new 2019 Camry powered sun installed in the trunk, went to pick up the vehicle and they had scratched the drivers door all the way to primer. Said they would take care of it sent me to some podunk ass body shop who was already worried about matching the color. Body shopped flaked and they still ha went done anything to help repair or compensate. Next had my 2009 Lexus GS 350 done the next week and picked up car driven one time since install stereo will not turn on now they're blaming the stick amp thay came with car as water damaged yet there has never been a problem until we took to them. We were recommended to this shop from some very good friends so figured we'd be taken care considering we just spent over a 1000 on parts and install. Came here a few days ago to get a custom dash bezel for my AVH4800BS stereo in a CR-V. The shop appears to have some good quality sound equipment and numerous touch displays to fiddle with the stereo system of your liking. Went in on Friday right when they opened and they were pretty busy. The customer service was friendly and the place was tidy. I was originally quoted for $200 but they gave me a deal for $100 because it was a simple job. They postponed the job one day because they had a full schedule that day. Extremely disappointed with customer care and satisfactory, they'll tell you anything to make money. Went about 2-3 weeks ago because my subwoofer would go off and on depending on the volume I had it on, so came here to see what they can do, of course they said no problem took my truck in came back within 20mins saying it was my subwoofer that was blown me not knowing any better I told ok install a new 1, they did and came back and I asked the installer and the sales rep are u sure that's what it was and they both looked directly at me and said "yes that I will have no problems anymore guaranteed" paid and left not even 2blocks down the street and again same problem, went back and the same sales rep looked at everything and said OH it's your amp it's not strong enough for the subwoofer, but not even 20 mins everything was fine I was gonna not have any issues and the issue was the old sub no it's the amp! I guess it's partially my fault for not doing research but you go to them trusting them and all they wanna do is sell you stuff you don't need they have no idea what they're doing one second it's one issue next it's not that it's something else so basically I paid for a new subwoofer I probably did not need. Enough is enough. I went to this shop approximately a year and half ago to put the system in that I always wanted. When I pulled up the shop, I expressed my concerns and what I was looking for. The sales associate that helped me out started with "Let's start with a small system see how you like and then will go from there. If you are unhappy with the system bring it back and we'll upgrade." While it was nice, I drove around with the system for a week and it did not have the feel that I was looking for. For a second time at Pacific Stereo we hit the drawing board. I told them well this sounds great, it's just not what I am looking for. We tossed around a couple ideas and finally headed towards a JL audio system. The system was installed and while it was big difference it was still not enough. Again, I drove around with that system for a while. Third time back at Pacific Stereo, I tell them I still need more. "Well in order to get more you will have to buy more" was their response. I threw the money down and bought a Kenwood Deck and the Scosche dash kit for my 2015 F-150. At the end of the day, I picked up the truck and listen to it in the parking lot. I told the associate "It's flat." He turned around looked at mean like "What do you mean it's flat?" Flat means that there is no bass/definition coming out of there doors. He then had his tech come to the vehicle and mess with the equalizer but still really didn't see that definition kick up to what I was expecting. Finally, the last time at Pacific Stereo, I told him to take the Kenwood Stereo out and put my stock radio in. I was tired of the headache and the Scosche kit messed up. Thanks a lot, Scosche $500.00 well wasted! Also, when the installer installed the kit the door chime was ridiculously loud that it was ear blowing. I told the associate that it needed to be turned down and the response was "We can't turn it down. That's just the way that it is." Really, then how come after you but the stock back in things were fixed?! Just today, I took the truck over to a shop that my buddy recommended and told him all the concerns that I had. He saw everything that I was talking about and even said "It's a nice system but the work that was done was complete garbage. We can fix this but in order to fix this we are going to have to play doctor and figure out how bad it." I told him to go head and because I want to know how bad the damage is with this. This shop was recommended to be and already I feel better. The guy is not going to charge me until he actually gets a better product than what it is right now. All in all, what do I have to say about Pacific Stereo, Thank You, Pacific Stereo. I really do appreciate the crappy job that you guys did in my truck and the $3000.00+ that you took from me. Ever since I left the shop, I have been disappointed in the work. I love my truck, but I got to be honest, I have thought about selling it because the mess that Pacific Stereo created. I am eager to go to this appointment next Tuesday to see how bad the job is. Pacific Stereo is probably reading this review right now and saying "Well he just voided the warranty." Well, I really don't give a crap about your warranty. I would not go back there again if something else happened to the system. I rather pay someone else to do it then waste my time there. Numerous times I taken the truck there, I was promised that the job would be done by 1800 (6PM) and waited till and hours past closing. Don't waste your time or money here, go somewhere else.
