3rd day of being open: The decor is absolutely adorable, very summer vibes and vibrant. The host was the most polite and happy guy I've ever met. Our server Alissa was very sweet and attentive. Fun personality and admitted she had tried most of the menu so she gave us great options to choose from. As I overheard her tell one of the table this was her first serving job, I automatically got a little nervous. Having worked in the business for many years, I know how it can get on a busy night. We placed our order. Which she rang up on a hand held right away. We ordered a round of drinks, appetizer and an entree to share. The appetizer came out, and a minute later the entree. Wish we had some time with the app, in my experience you ring up app first and when it comes out, you place the entree. Food was very flavorful, the coconut shrimp and pork rolls were delicious. The bowl was very big, I love a fried egg on everything and the sauce on the ribs was perfectly sweet. Unfortunately our drinks didn't come out until after our food and even though our server checked with us twice, we still had not receive them. We weren't fans of our drinks. Mai Tai and Spicy something, didn't hit the profile we were looking for. Since they took so long to come out we didn't order another round. There's definitely some tidy up to do but overall we had a great experience. read more

Food was very good. Service could have been better because our waiter was the bartender as well so he was very busy at the bar and took forever to refill the waters and soda, bring check, etc. The restaurant was clean and the food came out fast. Definitely will try again. read more

made a reservation for 8:15pm and i waited 25 min for my table. what's the point of a reservation then?

Pros: Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive wait service. Cons: mediocre food You always know it's not going to be awesome when the fried calamari comes out fast, white and with only a mayo-based dipping sauce. The main course was just ok and the portions were small. read more

First time eating here and had such amazing service from Brendel! She recommended the calamari for the appetizer and fish and chips for the main dish! Everything was great! I also like how they are dog friendly so my pup joined in too! Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes:) read more

No wait for Monday lunch. Our server, Dom, answered our questions and quickly brought plates and chopsticks for our Cabo Calamari appetizer. The calamari was lightly battered and crispy. I was too chicken to eat the chiles, but the fried lemon slices were a treat. Hubby chose the Double Rainbow sushi bowl. He's not a fan of crab salad, but he ate everything else. My selection was the Japanese Wasabi Original Ahi Poke bowl. I got the regular size (same 6 ounces of poke, but double everything else) and was happy to have a good-sized doggy bag to take home. Dom had to leave on his break, but Brendon took his place, refilling Hubby's iced tea and bringing the extra lemon wedges as requested. I think I saw him working the bar as well, so service was a little spotty after that. We paid our bill, but I had to flag down another server to get our receipt. The decor is light and airy, the wall art, light fixtures, and skylight added to the pleasant ambiance. This is a new kind of seafood restaurant for us. Typically, there is a selection of fresh fish and shellfish. Pacific Catch's menu has more sushi, poke, ceviche, tacos, bowls, and burgers. read more

We had an amazing wedding rehearsal lunch here last month. Bill, the manager was very nice and helpful in helping me in preparing for this event. Thank you Bill! We had many compliments on the food. Everything was delicious! The service and the patio setting were great also. We'll be coming back again to try other dishes. read more

We were lucky enough to be invited to enjoy a night as one of the first to have dinner at this new Tustin location before their official opening date. We were so excited and spotted the restaurant sign right away off the freeway exit. Its located next to Snooze and Hopdoddy. Pacific Catch is a nice laid back hawaiian themed restaurant. The decor is very modern and cozy. We were seated outdoors by the bar. It looked like they had a full bar and a few TVs with the NBA game on. We were happy with all of the friendly service as we were seated immediately and the server was polite and answered all of our questions. It was a bit windy but luckily there were heat lamps to keep us warm. For the food I would recommend to order is the waygu burger and fries (5/5). It was juicy and thick just the way I like it. The fresh fish (3.5/5) was just ok and mashed potatoes were a bit skimp and so were the barely there crab toppings. We also ordered the poke bombs which came in little tofu pockets with sushi rice and topped with your choice of poke (4/5). We liked the poke bombs and want to try the poke trio next time My drink was so pretty and completed the hawaiian look and feel (4/5). Overall a cool place for a dinner with friends or a date. read more

Tried the newest seafood restaurant in Tustin at the Marketplace next to Snooze, near In N Out. For a Friday Night, it was really busy, so we were glad we had reservations! The hostess, Jenny, greeted us with a welcoming smile and genuinely cared about how we were doing today! We were seated at a booth with plush seats and our server, Kelsey, came by right away to pour waters for us and get our drink orders. We started with their Pupu Platter, which was a great way to sample their "Shareables". PRO TIP: Sign up for the Pacific Catch rewards and get a free Shareable!! I loved their coconut shrimp, but some of the tuna poké was a bit too cold (frozen) still. The spicy cucumber banchan had a lot of ginger flavor to it (some people like that), and the pork belly was very tasty. The shishitos were decent, but be careful! The yellow tempura slices are NOT squash, they're lemon. Moving on to our main dishes- the portions were AWESOME! Plenty of food, so you definitely get your money's worth! The Fresh Catch options were delicious, but the yellowtail was a teeny bit over cooked in my opinion, so it was a bit dry. The veggie sides are super fresh and delicious! I need to come back again so I can try their sushi or poké bowls! Overall, great dining experience in a beautiful restaurant with a cozy beach cottage feel and tropical decor. Will save room for dessert next time! read more

This was my first time trying Pacific Catch! Let me say that my whole experience was great. The hostess upfront was so sweet and kind . Our server was friendly and they had inside and outside seating. The restaurant was spacious , clean. I got two tacos with everything on the side , so I could assemble it to my liking. Everything was delicious, except the steak was way too thin for well-done. Medium-rare steak is the best choice for this dish; it's very flavorful. The Surf and Turf with Lobster Tail, steak, mashed potatoes, and Broccolini Grilled (GF) was a great option. The dish included drawn butter, grilled lemon with chimichurri sauce, and a grilled butter Hawaiian roll. read more

Nice ambience. Service was good. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and friendly. Now let's talk about the food and the prices. We ordered the firecracker Salmon roll. It tasted good but I had to ask my server, "Where is the Salmon? He said it was inside the roll. You can look at the pictures and make your own conclusion. Only one piece of the roll looked like it actually had a piece of Salmon. Our server offered to get me Salmon Sashimi, I asked him for Nigiri he said he could do that. I thought he was offering to make up for the lack of Salmon in the roll, apparently not! I had a charge for another entree. A "Sushi Taco Trio" We also ordered the Surf and Turf. It said it came with 4oz. of steak. There were only 4 extremely small pieces of steak. It tasted good and was nicely cooked. My wife asked wasn't a lobster supposed to come with steak it looks like they gave us a couple leftover scraps. The lobster was over cooked and a little tough. The brocolini was under cooked and challenging to even cut. The mashed potatoes were just kind of "mehe!" so to answer the two burning questions . Why didn't I send it back?? I was starving and I didn't wanna wait any longer to eat. Would I go back probably not. It's was just way over priced for the quality and portion sizes. I could have gone to Ruth's Chris, The Fish Company or Orange Hill and got a much better meal for the same price. read more

We must've gone on an off night. Not sure how this place has 4 stars. Had a reservation at 7pm, weren't seated right away which seemed odd especially when the restaurant wasn't full. After being seated no one greeted us had to flag down the hostess to get our server and water after waiting close to 20 minutes. Apparently they were under staffed which I can understand if you at least stop by to check in with your seated guests to tell them you'll get water or that you are short staffed so they know you see them vs having to grab another staff member to tell you. When we sat they had a number of empty tables that had yet to be cleared. Ordered the ahi poke appetizer and the wonton chips were stale. Ordered the Nina colada (non alcoholic piña colada) but it was only iced which I expected to be blended but was iced. Two tacos ordered were ok, steak and fish. The kanpachi was good. Our server didn't come by after we got our mains to check in even though it was even more empty by that point and the dinner rush gone (after 8pm). Disappointing experience with service The decor is nice though it can be loud inside even when not filled with the music and louder guests read more

Lexi was amazing and made the experience great. She is welcoming and we most definitely go back.

I was in the area and wanted to try something new with the family. What I ordered: You can really tell their fish and all their ingredients are super fresh. Everything tasted awesome. There were no sad faces at the table. My only gripe is for some dishes it can be a little pricey. The chowder was good. But was it 17 dollars good? Nah I don't think so. I probably will skip that one in the future. It was too pricey. Yes there were fresh clams which made it different from other chowder I've tried before, but I wouldn't order it again. The sampler was a perfect way to try a bit of everything. Or for someone who can't decide if they should order the poke or the ceviche. I got the poke, the shrimp ceviche and the yellowtail ceviche. My favorite of the three was the poke, but the shrimp ceviche was really good as well. I hope they bring a Pacific Catch closer to the San Fernando Valley. :) read more

We had a large birthday gathering on the patio over the Holiday Weekend. The ambiance was fantastic and the food was fresh and flavorful. The price was very reasonable and the portions were enormous. The Personalized Private Party Menu is great. There is something for everyone. Even picky eaters. The Artisanal Cocktails were amazing and very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend the Mai Tai. Even though they are extremely smooth and fruity, they pack a punch. Bring a designated driver, because they are so delicious that one is not enough. The GM, Matt, made sure everything was well planned even on short notice and the service was impeccable. The servers were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The Assistant Manager, Ryan, did an excellent job coordinating everything. It is not easy getting 30 plus dishes out at the same time especially when there are multiple dishes. They nailed it. Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. We will definitely be back. Our friends and family from out of town said that they will be looking for a Pacific Catch in there area. read more

Me and my mom were looking for seafood in the area and I found this on yelp! We were welcomed coming in by wonderful ladies and everyone was super nice. We started with Calamari for appetizer and it was super crispy and tasty! They had some flash fried lemon slices as well and it was super delicious! For my meal I did the fresh catch with the yellowtail, chimichurri style and broccolini and mashed potatoes and added coconut shrimp! Everything was very tasty (broccolini was a tad spicy) and flavorful! The coconut shrimp were so yummy and crispy and definitely my favorite thing!! I would definitely get again! My mom got 1 fish and 1 shrimp taco and said she would get it again also! Overall super yummy and friendly experience! read more

After my CorePower Yoga class, I came here for dinner. This restaurant is always empty, which isn't necessarily a bad thing - so decided to come here as it allows me to just walk in and sit down without any hassle. I chose to sit at the bar, which was completely vacant. When I walked up, the bartender seemed super busy--cleaning, etc. There were no other customers around, there was just one couple across from me - and it took a while for him to acknowledge me. The vibe was immediately off. I walked in feeling great after my workout, but the atmosphere was just... blahhhh. If you want to feel instantly down, this is the place to be. My mood went from 100 to zero in seconds. I ordered my food, tried to shake it off - but the overall environment was just so depressing, and I can totally understand now why this place is always dead. There was no eye contact, no interaction with anyone working the bar. It was just uncomfortable. The food itself was actually excellent, but I'd rather have mediocre food in positive environment where I'm acknowledged at least. I noticed the waiter and other staff members just standing around, not even talking to customers, and on their phones. I don't mind being left alone, but it was just tooooo awkward. There was no acknowledgment, the energy was just too DEAD for me. When I ordered wine, the bartender told me he'd give me the happy hour price (which I appreciated ). That was a nice gesture, but it didn't make up for the overall atmosphere. At the end, felt pretty bad, cuz he gave me that $9 glass of wine for free... but I swear I felt so depressed and couldn't wait to leave. In the end, I'd rather go somewhere like Cha Cha's and indulge in more calories than spend another second in this depressing environment like this place. That's my review--if you want to feel instantly miserable, this place is for you. read more
