We have had many HH's and dinners here when it was Bonefish. Well, let's start a new! We came for dinner on a Friday. We didn't have a reservation, but were seated right away. Service was good. They were out of Sapporo, and that made me sad. But, their Spicy Pacific cocktail made up for it! I got their Crispy Baja Cod tacos. They had more batter than fish, so I removed some of the batter and it was delicious. My hubby got the Korean Skirt Steak. He said the sunny side up egg made the dish. I had room for dessert, so I ordered the Hula Brownie Sundae without the coconut crisps. Yummmmm! read more

Indulging in the flavors of the Pacific at this West Coast fish restaurant. Sustainable seafood dishes that capture great flavors and execution. With over 12 locations in California, this Tustin spot is in a busy shopping plaza. There are lots of parking spots. Service: the waiters were very friendly and attentive. I will come back read more

Great seafood, service, but not cheap! Enjoyed a nice weekday happy hour here and had a awesome meal. The decor is gorgeous and makes you feel like you're in Hawaii (after a few mai tais). From the HH menu, we ordered: Pupu Platter Summer, Poke Trio, Mai tais, and a Guava marg. Everything tasted excellent. Pupu Platter had a little bit of everything and the poke trio served with fried wontons was delish. Guac and poke was the collab I didn't know I needed.. what a duo! Drinks were so good too, didn't taste like generic mixers but actual juices and liquor. Total meal came out around $100 which doesn't seem like HH pricing but everything we had was excellent. Forgot our servers name but she was super nice. Would come back! read more

Kampachi .... Say what ? So after church we were in the Tustin area and decided to eat fish for lunch. We decided to try pacific Catch and loved it !!! Rob took care of us. His attention was exceptional and he was serving and bartending at the same time. The Hostess was also so sweet. It had a clean ambiance. I highly recommend. Portions are small, but filing and so delicious. Heres the details on the food: Kampachi - so delicious!!! It was crispy and charred just like i like it. If you haven't tried it , you really have to. Sea-bass - delicious, soft , flakey, Fresh, really really good. Ceviche - quality, fresh, and had the perfect spice. The choice of yellowtail for this ceviche was genius. I really enjoyed it. Fish and chips - golden, crunchy, flakey, and the sauce was fire. Kimchi fried rice - good Miso soup - good Salmon bowl - great !!! House salad - Must try!!! read more

Wow what a beautiful restaurant ! Very modern bright style and gorgeous bar n interior. We sat on the patio at the bar. Both bartenders were great. Friendly and attentive. They have a full bar selection and a craft drink n beer menu. Food was very good and comes in very big portions. The Korean steak an bbq rib bowl could easily be 3 portions. The hot fish taco was my favorite, not too spicy but a nice kick on a battered fish. The tuna poke was fresh and very tasty on top of the guac. Can't wait to go back and try more food. Everything was great. If you are looking for fresh fish or a fusion of Asian/ seafood this will hit the spot read more

First time here with my son. Wonderful food and drinks! Very fresh. We had the Poke and Ceviche Trio for an appetizer then shared the Mixed Grill for two. Plenty of food. Service not great, had to look for a server many times. Plates weren't brought with the food and no one really checked on us for 15 minutes after we sat down. Sat outside, beautiful patio with booths which is nice. Bar is nice with TV's if you want to watch a game. Located next to Snooze in the AM at the Marketplace. Plenty of parking. read more

I was so excited to try this new place, but honestly it was very underwhelming. First impression was great - the restaurant is very cute and I love the ambiance. Definitely looks like a cute place to go with friends, since they have happy hour too! I ordered the pork belly musubi & the salmon lover's roll. Both were decent, but nothing mind blowing. I also tried a few bites of the kimchi fried rice and the wagyu cheeseburger. The kimchi fried rice didn't have much flavor, but it wasn't bad. Surprisingly, the wagyu cheeseburger was the best thing I tried - not what I would expect when I'm coming to a seafood place. The fries that came with the cheeseburger were a little cold and seemed older, but they were nice enough to give us fresh fries when we asked. Overall, I don't think I'd come back unless to give their happy hour a shot. They have a very extensive menu so maybe I tried the wrong things, but I wouldn't die to give it another try! read more

Newly opened restaurant in Tustin Marketplace where Bonefish used to be. Our waiter told me they have been open a month. Service is good when the waiter has time to stop by. We were seated in the patio, our waiter seemed to be serving the entire section by himself so he was good with ice tea refills when he walked by and noticed an empty glass but having him walk close enough to flag him for service to order more food and/or to pay required a wait at times. Food was merely okay. Sushi "tacos" and the double rainbow sushi bowl had the same the 3 ho-hum tasting raw fish slices. The bowl also came with a crab salad. While it's nice to see a crab salad made with actual crab and not imitation krab, it had more fishiness than you usually want to come upon in your food, especially an entree at that price point ($29). Limp over-marinated pickles, mass marketed seaweed salad was unimpressive. The bowl was also stuffed with a ludicrous amount of pickled ginger. There must have been at least 1/2 cup of it shoved in there. The gross amount was partially covered up by sparser portions of the other more expensive ingredients. I know because I removed it from my plate onto a side plate where it overflowed it. Maybe use a smaller serving bowl if you aren't willing to fill it appropriately. We also ordered fried calamari since the sushi taco serving size was so small. Calamari came out soggy and with an overpoweringly dashi flavored mayo based dip that eradicated all other flavor. Overall the food was disappointing. Decor was pleasant with a beachy self described Hawaiian-esque theme, heavy on the rattan and light woods and a huge random neon sign wall. I have no idea why all the neon. It made too little sense to be for selfies. The patio was a great place to sit and catch the cool parking lot breeze. The music inside the restaurant was a bit blasting but just the right volume on the patio. For two people after apps, entree, drinks (tea and wine) and tip, the total came out to $100. This was more than I was expecting to spend for a weekday lunch and for the level of food served. It will take some convincing for me to return. read more

Ate at Pacific Catch for the first time today, and it was delicious. Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance and fantastic service from Cailee S. Shrimp tempura rolls were a delicious appetizer. Cailee's recommendation -- Fresh salmon with Hawaiian sea salt -- was so good, and she recommended I try it was some chimichurri sauce, which I don't usually like but I was very happily surprised. My whole family agreed it was the best chimichurri we had ever tried and went really well with the fish. Thai brussels -- also Cailee's recommendation-- were delicious, super flavorful and crispy. House salad was also a lovely side or could be a good appetizer. 10/10! read more

So yeah... it's a Monday evening and so there's that. However, this place for as good as it is (quality of service, food quality and value), it should be way busier than it was. Absolutely enjoyable. Brendel, our server, was absolutely awesome. A true asset to the establishment. Beyond that, we also very much enjoyed the food which included the sticky ribs appetizer and the combination Louie salad, lobster and shrimp. To finish ourselves off we enjoyed the brownie sunday for dessert. Cloud nine folks!!! read more

Great food and amazing service from Cailee! Love the ambience. Our food came out quickly.

We came here recently to try out Pacific Catch for the first time. We ordered the sushi taco, fried calam, grilled yellowtail plate and Mexican grilled shrimps bowl. For drinks, we got a Thai iced tea and a pina colada. Both drinks were not very good. Especially the pina colada, it was 80% ice. It was not blended with ice but poured over on small ice cubes. The taco sushi was fresh and delicious. The yellowtail was a little dried. The other dishes were good. The fried calamari would be the best dish from what we ordered. Service was attentive. Plenty of parking. ***3% service fee added to the bill* Very nice inside and outside seating. read more

Kids friendly. Love the kids menu. I want to be a kid at Pacific Catch! The poke appetizer is good. Just like I remembered in San Francisco. The sushi portion is small and pricey. I would not order sushi if you are expecting sushi restaurants quality. Fish entrees can get pricey. Side portions are huge. Environment is clean and comfy. They have booth, half booth and tables. Have outdoor area with a fire pit. Lovely when it is warm out. read more

Pacific Catch is THE SPOT! We spontaneously dropped in on a Saturday evening and wow was this the place to be. It was swarming with people and had a wait time of 45-60 mins for 3 people. Luckily, we snagged 3 seats at the bar (self-seating) and were able to start eating and drinking immediately! Sitting at the bar is more fun anyways. We ordered the firecracker salmon roll to share and I ordered a two taco plate (cod and fried fish) for my entrée. I had an Alaska Amber Ale to wash it all down. The roll was good! Pretty standard. The two fish tacos were something to write home about. They were each intentionally paired with delicious toppings and sauces that created a mind blowing experience. The chips and salsa and black beans as sides were a nice touch. The portions are huge. The items are a bit on the pricier end but I imagine so because of the environment you're getting. The ambiance is fun, lively, and upbeat. I hear they have a Wine Wednesday that's worth visiting for! read more

It was my first time experiencing the restaurant since the renovation from the previous establishment. I was blown away by the ambiance, the kind rapport of the staff and the delicious food that was quality. Our service was exceptional by Cailee, who was kind enough to make some suggestions and also let us know about their happy hour. The restaurant manager, was also gracious enough to let us know about a promotion offered for those who wear a Hawaiian shirt on Friday for additional discounts. I look forward to sharing in this experience again with friends for quality food and price in a fun environment! read more

Lexie provided customized service, the food was excellent and timely delivered. Will return again.

I ordered their Chilean Sea Bass tacos. It was delicious. The bass was light and aioli was delightful. Make sure you ask for the lunch menu otherwise they'll only give you the dinner menu. The lunch menu is small but at least it's more reasonable for lunch. I've been to this restaurant several times but the service this time was terrible. We had to wait a long time for our food and to get our bill. We sat by the fire pit which was pleasant. Plenty of parking. read more

Good food though a bit pricey for some dishes. They have a good happy hour and it seems that you may not be limited to bar/high tops to receive the deals, but check anyways. Ample parking lot outside. Clean and coastal decor. Kind and helpful staff. read more

New fresh fish house just opened up at the Tustin Marketplace. This chain started in San Francisco and luckyily is branching out in OC. I saw they're promo on social media. If you sign up for their rewards club you get a free shareable item. For the free item I picked the Guaca-Poke, which is ahi poke over guacamole and a bit of cilantro with tortilla chips all around. It was very filling so it ended up being my meal. I got to taste the Hot Fish sandwich under the burgers menu and it was the best cod sandwich I have ever had. Both the glaze and aioli were a perfect match. We will be coming back soon for more amazing fish dishes. read more

I felt like having a poke bowl and yelp brought me here. And I ended up having round the best bowl I've ever had. I saw the picture on yelp and I was like I want this. I was hosted by this wonderful young lady Bree T and of course she treated me so well. thank you so much for that. The food is to die for although I have to be honest. I've just had the bowl, but I'll be back here just for it. The place has such a fresh looking feel to it . Definitely must come and enjoy. The newly renovated restaurant was OK, I liked it much better when it was Bone Fish Grill. The Coconut Shrimp we had 3 orders of and it was a little over cooked, one of the other dishes was way too spicy hot. We asked our server a few questions and he had to reach out to someone else for the answers. I would want to try one of their fish entrees, since I eat all kind of fish regularly. I just wasn't that impressed with the place, but I would definitely give it a second chance for dinner. We did try everything on the happy hour menu between all of us. read more

My husband and I attended the soft opening of Pacific Catch the other night. This new location in Tustin is right next to Snooze AM and Hopdoddy. There is plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and gave our names for the reservation. Everyone was so friendly and they let us know it was their first night open. We were seated at the bar on the outside patio which was wonderful with the setting sun. We had a great view of the NBA Celtics-Heat game while perusing the menu. Pacific Catch's menu is California Coastal meets Asian fusion. To start off, we ordered the Blood Orange sparkling lemonade and Guava-rita. A portion of our prix fixe meal benefitted the Surfrider Foundation so we ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke to share. We also ordered the West Coast Salmon bowl and the Mexican Grill with chile lime shrimp. For dessert, we were served the brownie sundae, which was a nice end to a lovely meal. The food portions are generous. The servers are still working on timing but for the most part we didn't have any issues. Our food was tasty and drinks were refreshing. If you're looking for a new spot to check out, make sure Pacific Catch is on your list of places to try. read more

WARNING: In tiny print on the very bottom of the menu it says they charge a 3% charge to cover operating costs and increased minimum wage. In SF, that charge is 5%. We didn't see the fine print and didn't realize the charge until after we paid! So something to look out for. It personally leaves a bad taste in my mouth when restaurants do this because it's a total loophole and these costs may not go to the waitstaff. It says on the menu "this is not a tip or gratuity". I'd rather they just build in these prices into the food. As for service, all the staff were great and so enthusiastic! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The food itself was pretty solid. We ordered the poke/ceviche sampler and while the two pokes we got were good, the yellowtail ceviche was disappointing. The fish was over cooked and rubbery and the dish was bland. They had a free appetizer with yelp check-in, so we ordered the guaca-poke and thought that was really good! Poke was fresh and a decent amount and guac was well- seasoned and fresh. If I had to choose, I'd get this over the sampler. Husband also got a Korean BBQ bowl and the portions are generous and it was cooked well, though I thought they were heavy handed with the sauce/marinade. Very sweet and salty. My first impression of the menu is that it's all over the place. Is this a seafood restaurant? Asian fusion? There were just so many options and no clear theme. You have your poke, your poke bowls, beef bowls, fish plates, sushi rolls, tacos, burgers... it's all over the map. Ambiance is island casual. Definitely a more beachy vibe. I liked the long wrap around bar area with the flatscreen TVs, but didn't love the interior. Nice place to get a few appetizers and a cocktail, but everything really adds up and not sure it's worth it. The 3% surcharge also leaves a really bad taste. read more

We've had the best experience at the Tustin Marketplace Pacific Catch! After visiting for our first time for lunch, we decided to celebrate our father's 80th birthday with friends and family at Pacific Catch. EVERYONE was blown away by the delicious apps, entrees, deserts and drinks. The fresh fish, shrimp, poke, and ceviche are all fantastic! Our service staff was amazing lead by the manager, Matt. In addition to great food and service, the restaurant is also aesthetically beautiful. And in this current economy the value of the portions served was superb. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If the soft opening is any indicator, Pacific Catch at the Tustin Marketplace is going to be a popular spot! At the opening everyone was given a subset of options from the full food menu (full menu shown in photos). My friend and I started at the drink menu. I ordered the caramelized piña colada which was refreshing, tasty and if it had been quieter in the restaurant I could have pretended to be on the beach. My friend ordered the Spicy Pacific and even though it tasted just like a chili, it happened to be a surprisingly delicious vodka cocktail. For our appetizer, we ordered the poké and ceviche trio choosing the original ahi poke, Serrano ahi poke, and Baja shrimp ceviche. I really enjoyed the baja shrimp ceviche as it tasted like guacamole with shrimp mixed in. The Serrano poke had a nice flavor, while the original ahi was your basic poke you can find anywhere. The plate included chips, wonton chips, radishes, cucumbers and lettuce. For our main entrees we both chose the mixed seafood grill for one. It is a huge dish of fresh fish and I can't imagine how large the platter for two is! This dish is definitely shareable and includes a choice of two sides. I picked broccolini and brussel sprouts while my friend chose elote and blistered shishito peppers. I preferred the brussel sprouts, while she preferred the elote. We had plenty of food, but there was a dessert option on the soft opening menu so of course we had to try it out! The dessert was dulce de leche spring rolls and oh my goodness the cheesecake filling with the fried spring roll and ice cream was so good! 10/10. The hosts that greeted us when we arrived were friendly and our server was really nice and knowledgeable of the menu even on day 1! I'm sure they will have some opening pains, but overall the fish is fresh, food is flavorful, and the atmosphere is lively. read more

Came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Not crowded at all on Sunday morning at 11am. Restaurant is nice and big, tables not crowded together. It did still smell like paint/new construction. The calamari was your good standard fried calamari. We all enjoyed it including the kids. We ordered a variety of mains and they were all in pretty big portions, which was nice. My miso glazed black cod was good, but it would have been better if they put a little less miso glaze on the fish because miso is very salty. The kimchi fried rice side was just ok. Definitely more fusion flavored than traditional Korean flavors. The brussel sprouts were great and they give you a lot. I also tried the steak and ribs from Korean BBQ. The steak was good but more cooked than the medium rare they said it was. The ribs were too sweet but my daughter liked it. She did not like her chicken teriyaki bowl at all but she is very picky. The kids fish and chips and chicken strips looked good though. I'm not wowed by this place but if we do come back, might try some of the other dishes. read more

Customer service was abysmal to say the least. Our waitress was apparently doubling as not only our waitress but the only bartender. Not a problem I get that. Having a plain clothed server do everything while you stand behind the bar not good. She asked her to help so many times that one time i looked up while she was commanding het and the the plan clothed women looked at her like..."its your table not mine!" -Food was mediocre. We had the sticky ribs (super salty), fish and chips (flavorless fish) and two orders of Cabo calamari (deep fried lemon was different). -never offered refills -checked on once -took a while to get the bill You know how when you visit a new place you try new things and food, then at some point you return and say, "what was the name of that place?" Yeah that wouldnt be the case here. read more
