The lobster roll was phenomenal!! Spicy tuna roll was also a great choice for an appetizer.

As a seafood fiend I have had my eyes on Pacific Catch for a while now. Met my friends here for lunch and I made reservations prior to arrival to prevent waiting during their lunch rush. We came right at opening, and seated at a booth. Okay I mentioned RIGHT AT OPENING because I was extremely disappointed by the crumbs and dried rice on the booth seat. Did they not clean overnight. Gross. I expect all restaurants to be clean, but this one is on the pricey side so I did not expect to see a mess right at opening. We shared a Pupu Platter ($28.95) and 2 Lobster Roll East Coast ($29.95/each) . The pupu platter comes with 4 coconut shrimps, 2 sticky ribs, 2 spicy salmon sushi tacos, and guaca-poke with tortilla chips. Lovedddd the coconut shrimps and the sweet sauce it came with. The "spicy" salmon sushi tacos were not spicy and the seaweed paper was on the soggy side by the time it got to us, but still tasty. Guaca-poke was a nice fusion twist. The sticky ribs were the only thing that was disappointing about the platter. It was really dry and tough and taste was about average. As for the lobster rolls. The west coast version is served cold and the east coast version is warm, which is what we preferred. The east coast lobster rolls we got came with a generous amount of lobster with herb aioli stuffed in a toasted Hawaiian roll, clarified butter on the side, a side a sesame slaw and choice of fries. Yummmmmmmm! Delicious! Love this lobster roll. For someone who doesn't normally like slaw, these were amazing. The fries were good too but as I got full, I stopped munching on it to conserve space for other things. Another point of failure with service. There were no condiments on the table. We were looking around for staff for the longest time. I was more than halfway through with my lobster roll before we could find someone to wave down to ask for ketchup for the fries. I think there's a lot of greatness going on with the food, but room for improvement with staff and cleanliness. I enjoy the food to come back to give it another chance, but I sure hope my next visit is better. read more

I saw a friend's review and had to check the place out. The food in all her pictures looked so good. I had the sushi tacos and sticky ribs. Although the ribs are very popular I didn't care much for them. The sushi tacos are another story. They were amazing. I could eat them all day long. I can't wait to come back. Service was very good. The waiter told me to download the app to get a free appetizer. He wants return customers. read more

Shoutout to Bri T! She provided such an awesome service very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. I've always been a huge fan of Pacific Catch (as you can see from my prior reviews), but Bri really topped it off tonight. We came to celebrate dinner with my best man for my wedding, and she made the evening feel extra special with her personable and kind approach. The food, as always, was amazing! read more

I don't write many reviews, but I had to this time around; the reason being our server Bri. T From the moment we sat down, Bri was warm, welcoming, and completely dialed in. She struck that perfect balance of being friendly without ever feeling overbearing, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making our experience a great one. Bri. T is the reason we'll be making Pacific Catch a regular spot. Management -- whatever you're paying her, she's worth more. FYI: The food was amazing as usual! read more

Pacific Catch took over the old Bonefish Grill. Located right off the 5 freeway and next to Snooze AM Eatery. The new Hawaiian vibe make-over is gorgeous and the ambiance is cozy. I love the patio seating side with the picnic table (can fit up to 8 but comfortably 6) and fireplace. It is the perfect area and space to bring our puppy, Zoey. Pacific Catch not only is kid-friendly but also is a dog-friendly full service restaurant. They do provide water bowl for any dog owner who brings them in to dine on the patio. Zoey, has even gotten treats & loves the attentions she gets :) IMO - Pacific Catch is a gem in the city of Tustin. My friends, family and I have dined here a few times over the past 2 months and each dining experience was truly splendid. This establishment is good for lunch, brunch & dinner. The staff and floor manager that we had engagement with were amazing - they are very cheerful, friendly and accommodating. They do take reservations via call or even through Open-table. I like the variety of the Asian fusion served here and I like how they serve up seasonal items too. I must say the portions served here at Pacific Catch are very generous! Plus they are pretty accommodating with food modifications too. :: RATING 5.0/5.0 :: The following are our favorite items and would def order again: Salmon Chowder -this is a MUST get! Creamy, heart-warming and delightful Poke Ceviche Trio -a great way share/sample the poke and ceviche Sticky Ribs -definitely sticky but very flavorful Chili-Lime Fries -way better fries with a kick to them. must get this one instead Taco Platter -all the fish, shrimp and skirt steak were really good) Miso Black Cod -so tender and delish Crispy Dulce de Leche "Spring Roll" -if you like desserts then you must get this, you wont regret it! Malasadas -pretty cute Hawaiian-style little donuts :: RATING 4.0/5.0 :: Pretty good items especially the ones for non-seafood eater: Wagyu Cheeseburger Korean BBQ with steak -steak were a little on the sweet end Asian Chimichurri Salad with Grilled Kanpachi French Press Coffee :: RATING 3.0/5.0 :: These items were A-OK. Nothing spectacular and may not get again: Sashimi Bowl Salmon Roll Lover Serrano Ahi Poke & Spicy Salmon-Avo Crispy Rice -rice was not crispy at all. the ahi & salmon lacked in flavor Kimchi Fried Rice -hardly any kimchi taste to it So I just found out they have a Pacific Catch Rewards! Sign-up and collect points to unlock the items to redeem~ Ahhh I wish I new this earlier. Regardless, this is one of my favorite Tustin restaurant to visit and we will have to check out their happy hour in the near future! read more

Their fish here is amazing. Love coming here with my family. I recommend the Hawaiian kanpachi.

It's nice to see a seafood restaurant back open at this location. I missed the old place's Bang Bang shrimp but there are a lot of fun choices here. Our party of ten had no issues with our Friday night reservation. In fact we got seated early. Reservations are recommended as there were a number of people waiting for tables. Even the bar was filled with diners. Speaking of the bar, our drinks came in an instant! The dining room is bright and attractive with only a modest amount of noise. I personally went for sushi as it's a rare treat for me. One of my rolls sat in the back until I asked about its whereabouts. I also had to ask for soy sauce and chopsticks. Wasabi and ginger are on the plate. Minor hiccups for a large group. Everyone loved the coconut shrimp and ribs on the pupu platter. The other items were too exotic for some of us. The cuisine styles are pretty wide so there's something for the less adventurous along with poke, ceviche and sushi. Plenty of non-seafood choices too. read more

I was eating here with my grandparents and I ordered sashimi and as I took a bite and there was a bone!

I'm from New England and this place has the best Fish and Chips. It reminds me of home!

Came here for the first time since it was bonefish grill. Was very impressed with the updated look and excited about discovering a new menu!! Service was great and friendly so great job there!! Unfortunately it was completely ruined by the weird not fresh shrimp tempura roll. Probably the worst I have ever eaten. My son ordered it too and is a growing teenager and even he claimed he was full after 5 pieces of his shrimp tempura roll. He left 3 pieces left on his plate and stopped eating altogether. I think he didn't want to make us feel bad that he didn't like it. My experience was not good- quality of the roll was strange tasting. So I broke 1 apart and realized that the shrimp tempura was covered in cold batter that had been fried before hand. Definitely not cooked to order. The breading was soggy and gross- the shrimp inside was cold and extremely small. Looked like mini shrimps that you buy frozen. Didn't finish mine after that. Super bummed. Couldn't get past the soggy cold breading and minuscule shrimp. NEVER had a shrimp tempura roll that didn't have "hot" shrimp and crispy breading on it. It felt like a roll you can buy at the grocery store. Bummer, will just go to kings fish or rusty pelican in the future. Again, service was great. read more

We came here for a happy hour. The food was great, and Lexi was an amazing server. The vibe was great. We will come back again.

Very pleasant environment with great service. The Grilled Salmon Bowl was good, but the Red Curry Noodle Bowl with Chilean Sea Bass was far too mild and mostly just noodles. Disappointing! Not sure if we'll try this restaurant again. read more

Came in with a party of 4 on a Friday night and was seated promptly. We ordered a little of everything. The miso black cod was delicious but I really haven't had a bad one anywhere yet. 5/5. Mixed grilled fish plate was just okay. The fish was a little dry but I did enjoy the Korean fried rice 3.5/5 We got two items off of the seasonal menu. The clam chowder with clams in the shell. That was good and I've never had it that way before. 5/5 The shrimp in the surf and turf didn't have any flavor but the steak was cooked perfectly and tasty. The cauliflower mashed potato was underwhelming. 3.5/5 Mixed catch was your typical fried variety of seafood. 4/5 My mom liked her non-alcoholic Nina colada. The service was not really there. The waiter passed by super quickly each time like he was in a rush but it was not busy or packed. He didn't ask if we wanted dessert. I don't know if there was a dessert menu? I also think the prices were pretty steep. Some of the stuff you can get at CFG for half the price and tastes the same. I would only really come back for the black cod and clam chowder which were more unique items but the experience and ambience was just okay. 3.5/5 read more

A relatively new fish spot in Tustin and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice this place is! The interior and decor is inviting and I like the open space. We ordered crispy rice trio (with three types of poke) and also the salmon plate, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients! Service was impeccable and our waitress came by regularly to check on us. Heard there's happy hour, so will stop by soon to try that out! read more

Pacific Catch - Poke - Seafood Near Me - Tustin, California

We made reservation and were seated right away on a Wednesday at 7:15pm. The restaurant was simple and nice. For starters, we shared Cabo Calamari and Serrano Ahi Poke. Calamari was light and crispy. Ahi poke was missing a little more salt. For my entree, I ordered the lobster roll west coast. It was a bit underwhelming. There wasn't enough lobster. Although the clams were good, the broth for udon with clams was bland. Miso black Cod was tasty, but the rice was cold and not soft. The green beans were delicious. The sea bass was ok and nothing unique. Overall, I feel there is some room for improvement on most of the dishes. read more

I had been to Pacific Catch in San Francisco and was happy to see that they opened a branch in SoCal. We went during lunch on the weekend and waited 5-10 minutes for a table. The dining room is quite spacious, with a covered outdoor area as well. For lunch, it's a little on the pricey side. The most reasonable items are the burgers or fish and chips ($15) or items off their sushi menu like their sushi tacos ($5 each) or their rolls ($12-$19). We started with their Guaca-Poke ($16), guacamole with ahi poke and tortilla chips. Since we love guacamole and poke, this appetizer was great! My Seared Ahi Burger ($15) had a gigantic piece of ahi tuna, nicely seared, with avocado, pickled ginger, daikon sprouts and some wasabi aioli which made that sandwich. My husband got their Salmon Lover Roll ($18) which was loaded with salmon and he enjoyed it. Service was great! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking in the lot. read more

Our server Cailee was amazing! Super friendly and on top of everything. The drink menu is fun, and all the appetizers were excellent. Get the calamari! It was probably the best I've had in a long time. But it was way too hot inside. They keep the big doors and windows open, so the A/C doesn't help. If it's over 80 degrees out, I'd skip dining in. If I had advice for management/corporate, I'd say on hot days...shut those doors and pump the air conditioning! We were literally dabbing our napkins in our ice water and wiping on our faces. read more

My friend & I actually originally planned meeting at The Snooze for lunch today however because their restaurant was so busy and noisy lol we decided to go next door to try out Pacific Catch. We weren't quite sure what to expect yet as soon as we entered the restaurant we were immediately excited and impressed. Pacific Catch restaurant decor was absolutely unexpectedly serene, lovely tropical designed ambiance. We were warmly greeted by our host and soon after our friendly server Lexi. Because it was our very first time dining here we weren't quite sure of what to order. We both were not too hungry yet wanted a variety of selection from the restaurant's menu. So we went ahead and ordered the Pupu Platter which included the following: coconut shrimp (3), Hawaiian pork belly sliders (2), sea bass skewers (2), guaca-poke, tortilla chips $32.50. This meal was perfect portion amount to share between us. The Pupu Platter was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented to us. Our sever Lexi was exceptional. Lexi was friendly, personable, efficient and making sure to see if there was anything else we needed. I, myself shall return to dine at Pacific Catch.
