Visited on a Sunday night at 6:30PM and got seated right away. The menu is quite robust, almost overwhelming! we ordered calamari and the trio mix and match to start and shared the Grilled Kanpachi Yellowtail Plate w/ Asian Chimichurri sauce, Shitake Black Rice, Mexican Cauliflower and Added Grilled Jumbo Shrimp. The calamari was underwhelming, pass. Loved that the trio mix and match of poke and ceviche had sliced radish, sliced cucumber and fresh romaine in addition to the fried wonton and tortilla chips. The spicy ahi was the best of the three, followed by the shrimp ceviche! Would skip on the fish ceviche, was a bit fishy. The Kanpachi Yellowtail, whew! What a plate full of flavor!! Grilled shrimp 11/10; so succulent and moist! Followed by the cauliflower, the sauce it was in was knockout. Fish was a little on the dry side, but the sauce was also amazing. My friend & I actually originally planned meeting at The Snooze for lunch today however because their restaurant was so busy and noisy lol we decided to go next door to try out Pacific Catch. We weren't quite sure what to expect yet as soon as we entered the restaurant we were immediately excited and impressed. Pacific Catch restaurant decor was absolutely unexpectedly serene, lovely tropical designed ambiance. We were warmly greeted by our host and soon after our friendly server Lexi. Because it was our very first time dining here we weren't quite sure of what to order. We both were not too hungry yet wanted a variety of selection from the restaurant's menu. So we went ahead and ordered the Pupu Platter which included the following: coconut shrimp (3), Hawaiian pork belly sliders (2), sea bass skewers (2), guaca-poke, tortilla chips $32.50. This meal was perfect portion amount to share between us. The Pupu Platter was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented to us. Our sever Lexi was exceptional. Lexi was friendly, personable, efficient and making sure to see if there was anything else we needed. I, myself shall return to dine at Pacific Catch. I had no idea this restaurant was here until we yelped and found the place. I ordered the Japanese Wasabi (Ahi Poke). The fish was fresh and they were very generous with their portions. I'm confused how this place has so many good reviews. Sea bass was recommended and it came out cold, super dry, like it's been air fried to be like a fish jerky, with overpowering chimichurri sauce. I told the waiter that I'd be sharing with my toddler, so I thought he'd knew my implication that I needed plastic utensils (the regular silverware is way too big for a 2.5 year old!). Other restaurants also provide my son a small water in a plastic cup, but I had to request for one....which is fine, but I appreciate little details like this as my son is just a integral part of my dining experience, especially on Mother's Day! read more

I came here with my pup while I was waiting for my car to be serviced at a local dealership. The food portions are insanely big, so it's a great value. The chicken I ordered for my dog was great and not overly seasoned (of course I taste all her restaurant food just out of caution). My server Cailee was excellent! We were looking for a local seafood restaurant to dine at on NYE. We found Pacific Catch through the Yelp app and made a reservation through OpenTable. I didn't know much about this place, but I know that we've eaten at this location before but when it was a different establishment. With that being said, I was excited to see what Pacific Catch had to offer. This restaurant is located in the District Shopping Center in Tustin. Exit Jamboree off of the 5 freeway. It's at the southeast corner of the shopping center, off of El Camino Real. The parking lot is quite large as multiple businesses share this location. When you walk into Pacific Catch, you'll appreciate the decor and setup. The dining room is very bright and spacious. The bar area is separated from the dining area. It's a bit small but it provides an intimate setting where you can enjoy drinks with friends. The dining room reminds me of an open patio. It's super causal and quite inviting! The menu has a nice selection of seafood dishes as well as a couple of burger options. Sushi seemed to be the most popular selection on the menu. However, I opted for the miso glazed cod and my husband chose the crispy Baja tacos. The miso glazed cod came with black rice, but I switched it out with white rice. I had never tried crispy sesame green beans before, so I was definitely up for trying something new! The miso sauce was super sweet and went well with the cod. The green beans were crisp with a nice sauce on top that was slightly sweet and a little bit salty. It was great! Service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and stopped by to check on us multiple times. Every time that I turned around, she was always there. It was like she had some type of intuition as to when I was most likely going to ask a question. Speaking of service, I thought that it was interesting when I was handed a small mobile device set up for restaurant reviews. I opened the case and it was ready for customers to review their food and the quality of service. I thought that it was great as it would provide instant feedback to the restaurant. I love this chain so much, I first tried it while I was a graduate student up in SF in 2016 and I'm really happy there are locations now down in SoCal! I've tried both the Santa Monica and this Tustin location and both are great. Service can be a little slow when they're busy but the servers are very kind and helpful. Ambiance is nice and has chic decor fitting the theme/vibes of a casual seafood eatery. Food is fresh and always tasty. The East Coast Lobster roll is a favorite of mine, but this time I tried the Wagyu burger and I also enjoyed it. read more

4.5 stars - a really solid first time experience! Dined here with friends right when they opened, so we scored a nice outside table (although their indoor seating area is definitely a vibe). Our server was friendly and came out quickly to take our order. We took advantage of their summer street food menu and got two orders of tacos and decided to order the ahi poke with wontons and the crispy calamari as well to share. I paired my meal with the Tiki Old Fashioned. I think the food was delicious - great sustains me seafood option and service was good. They did bring some sort of device with a ratings system for their dishes when we asked for the check - there wasn't really an explanation as to why they gave it to us so we weren't sure what to do with it. We tried Pacific Catch for the first time as part of OC Restaurant Week. Net: the food was good, the service was not. Our server, Steven, greeted us promptly and asked us for our drink order and if we wanted water. We ordered 2 Mai Tai's and the water. And waited.... It took a looong time to get the drinks. Then he asked us for our orders. We asked for some time to enjoy our drinks. OK. BTW, the mai tai was very good. Next we placed our order, one app and two entrees and one dessert. After a while the app appeared; with the entrees. We said we wanted to enjoy the appetizer - a really good calamari, and returned the entrees to the kitchen. Servers should be trained enough to know you don't bring everything out together. Finally we got our entrees and they too were excellent, one a barramundi with macadamia crust (also with very good asparagus) and one a miso blackened cod. Can recommend both. Finally had the lava cake with a scoop of ice cream. Again, excellent, the cake came out nice and warm. When we got the bill again a slip up, we were charged too much for the scoop of ice cream. Pacific Catch took over the old Bonefish Grill. Located right off the 5 freeway and next to Snooze AM Eatery. The new Hawaiian vibe make-over is gorgeous and the ambiance is cozy. I love the patio seating side with the picnic table (can fit up to 8 but comfortably 6) and fireplace. It is the perfect area and space to bring our puppy, Zoey. Pacific Catch not only is kid-friendly but also is a dog-friendly full service restaurant. They do provide water bowl for any dog owner who brings them in to dine on the patio. It's nice to see a seafood restaurant back open at this location. I missed the old place's Bang Bang shrimp but there are a lot of fun choices here. Our party of ten had no issues with our Friday night reservation. In fact we got seated early. Reservations are recommended as there were a number of people waiting for tables. Even the bar was filled with diners. Speaking of the bar, our drinks came in an instant! The dining room is bright and attractive with only a modest amount of noise. I personally went for sushi as it's a rare treat for me. One of my rolls sat in the back until I asked about its whereabouts. I also had to ask for soy sauce and chopsticks. Wasabi and ginger are on the plate. Minor hiccups for a large group. Everyone loved the coconut shrimp and ribs on the pupu platter. The other items were too exotic for some of us. Nice ambience. Service was good. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and friendly. Now let's talk about the food and the prices. We ordered the firecracker Salmon roll. It tasted good but I had to ask my server, "Where is the Salmon? He said it was inside the roll. You can look at the pictures and make your own conclusion. Only one piece of the roll looked like it actually had a piece of Salmon. Our server offered to get me Salmon Sashimi, I asked him for Nigiri he said he could do that. I thought he was offering to make up for the lack of Salmon in the roll, apparently not! I had a charge for another entree. A "Sushi Taco Trio" We also ordered the Surf and Turf. It said it came with 4oz. of steak. There were only 4 extremely small pieces of steak. It tasted good and was nicely cooked. My wife asked wasn't a lobster supposed to come with steak it looks like they gave us a couple leftover scraps. The lobster was over cooked and a little tough. The brocolini was under cooked and challenging to even cut. The mashed potatoes were just kind of "mehe!" so to answer the two burning questions . Why didn't I send it back?? I was starving and I didn't wanna wait any longer to eat. Would I go back probably not. It's was just way over priced for the quality and portion sizes. I also think the prices were pretty steep. Some of the stuff you can get at CFG for half the price and tastes the same. A relatively new fish spot in Tustin and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice this place is! The interior and decor is inviting and I like the open space. We ordered crispy rice trio (with three types of poke) and also the salmon plate, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients!
