Our first time here and wow was it good! We had the Korean BBQ steak and ribs with kimchi fried rice and Thai brussels. This dish was a knockout and for $35, it was enough food for 3 meals. I loved the 5-spice seasoning in the ribs and the marinated skirt steak pieces were freaking outstanding! We also ordered the fried chicken wings and they had a nice crunchy texture and were very large wings, super tasty! My wife had the Arctic Salmon with Hawaiian sea salt and that was superb. We sat on the patio with our dog which was very relaxing. Our server was top notch...we had a wonderful evening. We will absolutely return to this place on a regular basis! Went here on a Saturday for lunch for a birthday. Great service from Phil and Brendan from the bar who waited our tables. The decor was modern, bright, and clean. We ended up getting the ceviche/poke trio, Korean ribs, and the calamari for appetizers. All were great. I ended up getting the mixed catch fish and chips which came with shrimp and fried calamari. Phil and Brendan really went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. My husband and I have been coming here often to try out most of their cocktails because their drinks are amazing and so creative. The restaurant has a really cute ambiance. Their appetizer, the Guaca-poke, is our absolute favorite. Their entrees are okay. Their customer service is excellent. The waiter Phil is the best one there! We want to personally leave a review and thank him for always taking good care of us whenever we came. He was our waiter at our first time and since then he has always provided outstanding service. We appreciate his warmth & friendliness, always making sure our food came timely and served us amazing drinks upon his recommendations. The worst! Don't waste your money. The food looks nothing like the pictures posted from the restaurant. Ordered a rainbow roll, it fell apart, fish tasted fishy and our 4 year old granddaughter could have rolled it better!! The fish tacos were like fish and chips in a thin tortilla and the aoli was awful. I left the worst for last...do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on the kimchi fried rice!! It is like sticky rice and definitely not fried rice, maybe a half a teaspoon of chopped kimchi with Sriracha like flavoring covered in a pink Baja sauce! Who puts Baja sauce on kimchi??!!...Blaach!! We were looking forward to this opening as a seafood restaurant is a perfect addition to the Marketplace, but the best way to describe our experience... underwhelming. The ahi poke and shrimp ceviche were decent, but so overpriced. The calamari was mostly batter and the pork belly was so salty we ate around it. It seems as if the mixed variety of fusion was them trying too hard therefore falling flat especially for the cost. There probably won't be a next time. Finally had a chance to bring my family here and have been hyping the food and service up for the last few months. What a FAIL. Our server didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She walked by our table a few times after we finished the appetizer and carefully stacked the dirty dishes on top of each other at the edge of the table to give her a hint that we would like the table cleared. She and others walked by and didn't seem to understand the universal language for please take away the dirty plates. I finally stopped her and asked if she could please clear the plates. She almost left the second stack and I asked her to take everything as our main courses should have been coming out soon. Well, we waited, and waited. My spouse's dinner came out and seemed to be warm, however my taco platter had been sitting out and arrived cold to the touch. I sent it back because I was really looking forward to a warm meal and not my usual sushi bowl. This is where it gets insane. I asked this lady who was checking on other tables if she was the manager. She said yes and I explained that I had been waiting for about 10 or 15 minutes (my spouse had finished his meal at this point) and if she could please check on my tacos. She came back about 5 minutes later with a side salad from my taco platter and said the kitchen was going to microwave everything but she asked them to make the steak taco over again and it takes about 12 minutes to fire it up again. Microwave?!?! I've never heard of a restaurant offering to microwave food, especially when it was their error and I've spent a good portion of my career in marketing and operations of various restaurant groups. So, I waited, and waited. Over 25 minutes later, my three taco platter arrives with cold beans, microwaved fish tacos, and a few pieces of warm steak on the last taco.
