Started off with 4-5 people waiting in lobby and no workers. I asked if anyone is working here and no one said anything. After a few minutes, decided to go into the bowels of the restaurant and a lady stood up from a table and said, "is there no one up front?" We walked to the front where the number grew. Turns out that all those seated in the lobby were door dashers waiting for food. We were then seated. Greeted right away placed drink orders and when she came back, ordered our food. Server was nice. It's been a while since I dined at this location. We did not have a reservation and we were greeted warmly by the hostess. The decor was rather warm and cozy. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered one of the new menu items: Spicy tuna crispy rice. We requested no avocado on this. Also ordered the BBQ ribs, kung pao chicken, chili green beans and beef and broccoli. The spicy tuna crispy rice came with avocado on it. Our waiter was very apologetic and took it back to get it re-done. He came back and informed us that the chef usually does not customize this appetizer but since it was his mistake they will make an exception. But he warned us that this may not the case next time we order this. Fair warning:-) The appetizer was pretty good. The crispy rice cake was a little inconsistent. We have a couple that were very crispy (which made it a little too crunchy) but the other 3 were fried well. The spicy tuna was not spicy at all (there was a slice of jalapeno on top) but had a nice citrusy flavor that tasted better after the first one. Overall not a bad appetizer. The ribs were delivered 'smoked" to the table - nice presentation. Ribs had a delicious BBQ sauce on it and was tender and flavorful. the other dishes were done well but I thought the beef was a little tough in the beef and broccoli entree we ordered. Went for dinner on a Friday evening. They had lot of slots available for reservation although it was a Friday. Service is usually good at this location of PF Chang. They are pretty quick in getting the order too. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and it was really flavorful. Tried Chicken Lettuce wraps for first time. I feel their Vegetarian Lettuce wraps are better. Last thing we ordered is Kung Pao Shrimp. It was good but not as much as their Kung Pao Chicken. I just love to celebrate our special day in this Resturant. It was my birthday and we came here on Friday evening. The Resturant was very busy at that day and we didn't make any booking. Luckily, we found a spot to sit. We waited only for two minutes. They gave a child menu where my daughter was busy scribbling and they also provide with some cour along with the kids menu because they have some activities in that and I order Lomen chicken noodle noodles which comes with juice. I ordered myself firecracker shrimp along with plain rice and my husband. He ordered Kung pow chicken along with fried rice and three of us also ordered egg drop soup along with strawberry lemonade. Firecracker shrimp along with the fry plain rice tasted amazing, but I would recommend not to take fried rice along with Kung pow chicken as my husband did because I felt it would have tasted much better with plain rice. Egg drop soup was really good and quantity was also pretty good. We didn't order any starters because we were already full before arriving this restaurant so we went for some little meal. strawberry lemonade was just OK not that excellent. Was feeling nostalgic on a Friday night so we decided to come here. Used to eat P.F. Chang's as a kid so much and it was always good. I haven't been in 7 years, so I came in with zero expectations. We were seated right away and I was loving the vibes inside. Behind our booth was a little dusty than I prefer. Service was AMAZING. S/O to JP for making our experience that much better. He checked on us and provided the best recommendations. We will be coming back to see him. Booked a reservation for 10 to celebrate a graduation. It was simple and was able to do it the day before. They offer a group dining menu for large parties of 8 or more with two different package options. Basically it is a 3-course meal that includes soup or salad, appetizers, main Entree's all served family style. The package includes soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea but doesn't come with dessert which is an additional cost per person. Service all around was excellent. The hosts seating our party and the waiters and servers attending to us were friendly, pleasant and very attentive. Our beverages were always refilled and our food was served nice and hot. On one hand, ordering fried rice from PF Chang's when there are tons of better Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area is pretty questionable judgment on my part, but it was late at night and it was one of the few places still open nearby, so I figured why not. I'm not saying I deserved crap food but I should've known I would've lost this fast food roulette. On the other hand, I've had their fried rice before and it's never tasted this bad. Fried rice is one of my favorite foods. Even mediocre fried rice is usually decent, like pizza. But this was particularly not good, especially for twenty dollars. This time it was mushy, lacked any wok hay--that toasted rice flavor--and honestly just tasted like soy sauce mixed into soft rice and vegetables. Proper fried rice has a specific texture and taste you actually can feel. If it had been this bad before, I wouldn't have ordered it again, but this time there's been a noticeable drop in quality. First we got seated and only given drinks menus. 10min after being seated they came by to take our orders which we couldn't do because we didn't have food menus. We got our food menus and waitresses literally ran away as we were trying to order drinks so we could get something started. The table next to us got seated after us and was tended to before us. We finally ordered; the specials that were suggested to us weren't even available. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. I asked about the free birthday dessert and they obliged. While I've lived less than a mile from this place, I haven't been to a PF Chang's in over a decade. ‍ Before my review, let me add that anyone who compares this to Chinese food or is disappointed that it doesn't hit the flavors they are used to are missing the point... This is a fusion restaurant. Twists on traditional flavors is by design. We wanted takeout but not the usual, and when I showed my boys the menu they were in! We got a few different items to share: Spicy Orange Chicken: 4.5 - We all liked the kick, it's definitely not what you'd expect from orange chicken elsewhere. It had a good crisp and was cooked properly. The serving size was decent. Popcorn Chicken: 3.5 - This was a hit and miss... some bites hit, others missed - That was probably a consequence of inconsistent pieces (some all breading, sizes varied) and inconsistent spice, all leading to some pieces way overcooked and some just right Fried Rice: 2.5 - As the boys said, it was "mid" - They rate Benihana as their favorite fires rice, mine as second , and this one a bit below - Good portion, but lacked flavor. We don't think they used egg (can't recall from the menu) and didn't really get much sesame flavor. Ribs: 5 - My oldest and I are suckers for ribs and these hit the spot - The flavors are on point and the meat is cooked to fall off the bone (almost) perfection. P.F. chang's has always been a favorite of mine for when i'm craving Chinese cuisine. My last visit was a little underwhelming because the food quality isn't the same anymore. On the other hand, the service was excellent from both the host as well as our server. We were seated almost immediately and the host let us choose between a booth or a table which super nice. We ordered a handful of dishes that I usually get such as the lettuce wraps, honey shrimp, kung pao chicken, as well as the spicy green beans. Lettuce wraps were okay, I remember them being so good before (maybe different lettuce / sauce?). Kung pao was way too salty for my liking and the honey shrimp was too sweet and the texture of the outside was sticky which J didn't like. I was expecting something similar to honey walnut shrimp with the mayo but it's not the same at all. The only thing I loved were the green beans which was an awesome recommendation from our server. I usually order the crispy ones but these were filled with flavor. Overall, price is not too bad but the quality is just going downhill. Service was great and fast. I was back at PF Chang's after more than a decade. Nothing much has changed, ambiance is still great and there are a few new menu items. Went for lunch with friends and decided to try the chef's feast which comes with soup/salad, appetizer to share and an entree per person. I got to try all of the below items- Egg drop soup-4/5- it was raining outside and that was one of the reasons I enjoyed the soup though it was pretty basic. Chicken lettuce wraps-4/5- PF Changs most popular item and it didn't disappoint. I was mortified by the amount of oil at the bottom of the dish though. Crispy green beans-4/5- delectable green beans with a crispy layer on the outside, nothing much to complain and the sauce it came with was delish too. Unfortunately this was greasy as well and our table of four were not inclined to complete it. Teriyaki chicken- 2/5- if you are a fan of sweet chicken with a crispy batter then you might like it. I don't enjoy this form of chicken, it was much too sweet for my liking. There were grilled pineapples in it as well and it was too sweet on sweet. Crispy honey chicken-2/5- this was sweet and crispy as expected so not blaming them for this. But I am not a fan. Mongolian tofu-3/5- this was savory and I was thankful for the respite from the two sweet chicken dishes. Though not amazing, it was much better than the other entrees. Chicken fried rice-3/5- I personally chose this as my entree of choice. Again, pretty basic, not much umami. When a friend suggested PF Changs for lunch, I was surprised. I didn't think that the restaurant chain still existed. It had been YEARS since I last had it. We met with another friend for a get together for the holidays. I was concerned with parking, but it was a breeze to find parking, many spots available and right in front too. Not too many people were at the restaurant either. I think partly because it was the holidays and people are mostly at stores doing their shopping and returns. We all decided to share the Crab Wonton for our appetizer and we each got the lunch special, a bowl with lo mein. I got the honey chicken and it was good. The lo main was a little dry because it was strictly noodles with no vegetables but it helped to have the honey sauce. We sat at a comfy booth, ambiance was perfect to have great conversation with my friends. Our server, Jared provided exceptional service. There was a slight issue with our payment at the end since we had two gift cards. I'll start by saying I am not a picky eater and I never had a bad dining experience at a P.F. Chang's location before, but this one was honestly awful. We found a long grey hair in our egg rolls, and the rest of the food we ordered tasted bland and rancid like everything had gone bad. After a long time of waiting for our food every single dish we ordered was completely inedible. The only saving grace was the customer service. The manager was apologetic and comped our entire bill, which we appreciated and didn't expect. Still, the overall experience with the food was horrible. We went there for Father's Day. we ordered 3 family style dishes... honey chicken, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and a sushi dish. You would think 2 people could share each family style dish. Oh no! it was not even a chicken breast for each dish. I cook at home so I know one chicken breast could easily make a full plate serving. Each of the dish served barely made one layer on their plates. Wow this was some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I got the Mongolian beef bowl with a side of hot and sour soup and cucumber salad. The Mongolian beef was completely overcooked, dry, and small for a $21 portion. It came with white rice that was also dry. The hot and sour soup was neither spicy nor sour, but the rest of the ingredients and texture were fine. Might have been the only redeeming quality. The cucumber salad was supposed to be pickled and dressed with soy sauce plus sesame oil but they literally tasted like nothing. Like cucumbers in some faintly brown water. It was disappointing and I would never get this again. How this place has decent reviews is a surprise, perhaps the other menu items are better but the beef and cucumber salad in particular are definitely no. read more

An old buddy took me out for a bday dinner and I suggested PFC. Among the chain restaurants it is my favorite. We went with the Holy Trinity: chicken & broccoli, Mongolian beef and pork fried rice. It was a blessing (amen). Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. To this day I am impressed with how good it all was--for a chain. Nice. This heavenly feast was the perfect end after day-drinking at Sunnyvale Wine Stroll. We needed to soak up all of that alcohol for sure. Although I did have their Asian Pear Mojito. My husband and I took friends to the Sunnyvale PF Changs on Friday for lunch. Disappointing doesn't even begin to describe our experience. First the drinks. I ordered a Mai Tai and it was about as bitter and nasty as could be. I sent it back, asking for more fruit juice. They brought another almost the exact same as the first...not drinkable. I decided to leave it at that. The bartender obviously didn't care and knew nothing about what a Mai Tai should taste like. Now the food. We ordered 5 dishes, none of which were very good. The Mongolian beef was hard and overcooked with no vegetables in it but dried out green onion bottoms. No sauce, which was the theme of the whole meal...dry food and no vegetables. Like why pay more for fried rice if it is the same as the brown rice which came with the meal? A waste of money. Honey chicken, just chunks of chicken overcooked. Kung Pau chicken, no sauce or vegetables. For the prices charged, we expected a whole lot better. Will we return? Not on our dime. Oh, and the service stunk also. read more

This was only my second time at PF Chang's and I wasn't disappointed. We came in for lunch with a large group after my daughter's baptism. I made reservations for 1:30pm for 15 a couple days before. The process was really easy and the manager I spoke to was very friendly. Today, day of, there were several people who couldn't make the baptism and it ended early. When I called to see if I could move the reservation up and make it for less guests,11, they were more than happy to accommodate. Our server was very friendly and sweet with my 10 month old daughter. We ordered several appetizers, lettuce wraps, dumplings, fried green beans & short ribs. All was very well seasoned and came out hot. The server was nice enough to put my daughter's food in early while the adults were trying to decide, so she didn't have to wait. I ordered her the teriyaki chicken off of the kids menu. She loved it. I personally ordered the Beijing Beef with fried rice. I loved the beef, but feel like the rice could have had a little more flavor. We chose to get the set menu (you can pick one soup/salad, an appetizer to share between 2 people, and an entree). That was a great portion to leave full and still have some left overs. This was our first time trying PF Chang's, and it definitely won't be our last! From the moment we walked in, we were seated right away and greeted by our server, Randolf. He was fantastic--super friendly and even got our 6-year-old to laugh, which is no easy feat! That alone made a great first impression. We decided to go with the 3 Course Meal, starting with the Hot and Sour Soup and Pork Dumplings as appetizers. Both were delicious and full of flavor. For our entrées, we chose the PF Chang's Spicy Chicken and Mongolian Beef, paired with white rice. Everything was cooked perfectly, with bold flavors and just the right amount of spice. The service was excellent, and the food came out in a timely manner. The only downside was that parking was a bit tricky during dinner time, given how busy the shopping center is. I had a rough week at work and my mom did a very thoughtful and loving thing by surprising me with a lunch delivery since she lives out of state. She ordered lettuce chicken wraps, cucumber salad, and a boba drink. I was so happy that she did this for me, BUT I can't tell her how bad it was becauseit would break her heart. The Boba drink had way too much ice and it ended up being some kind of extremely sweet tea since there was ZERO boba!! How can it be a boba tea without the boba?!!! The lettuce for the wraps is brown and the more I opened the the lettuce the more brown i found. I attached pics. The lettuce I can slightly get past by tearing off the brown parts, but the chicken looked burnt and it tastes burnt along with it having way too much sauce!! Seriously PF Changs?! My mom should get a refund for this. I am pretty sure that will not happening since I can see this restaurant does not reply to their reviews at all.
