It had been our first time there in years. My birthday was 12/31/23. I had sent a text out about different restaurants to dine to friends. One texted back up for going to PF Changs, I stated ok. She got off from work that morning but needed to take a nap. I made reservations for 5pm and indicated for a birthday under the exclusive for 2 menu and naturally I joined the rewards. Anyway, we arrived and the initial order of drinks were made. My complaint is, when the waiter came back to the table to give our drinks, I mentioned that reservations were made for the exclusive for 2 menu. He said, ok I'll get you those menus. Though, where we were seated (table 45) we could hear him tell a female that he had to get the menus for 2. I THINK the female stated they can't do that. He said, it's ok it's either free money or a meal. I was going to let him know we could hear them but customers always have that fear of something being done to your food. Due to what we heard we didn't let him know though indicated the reason of dining there was for my birthday. During our dining my mom texted that the reviews there are bad. We ate talked paid TIPPED and left but I did NOT enjoy. Will we be back or recommend that could be a hard no...but never say never. The food was good but again I really couldn't enjoy. It saddens me that these chain restaurants quality has degraded. have decided to come back and express my disgust in how the quality has diminished overtime and P.F. Chang's is no different than the macaroni grill in regards to quality don't these folks realize that we work hard for our money And when you sell an item for someone to consume, we expect that the quality of food remains the same as the first time that you go there and try it but when you come back, it's just not the same. I am sooooo disappointed!! I went a few years ago and it was nasty! I only gave this location another try because I've been living over seas for 3 years and I was at lax and stopped at P.F. Chang's inside the airport and it was sooo good! So I'm like ok let me try it here again! And let me tell you I'm soooo mad I wasted over $60 bucks! Orange chicken has no taste at all!! My worst experience from a customer service industry to date. I also work in customer service and have worked in understaffed conditions and been on the receiving end of malice many times. However, the woman in charge of bar today and takeout was absolutely disgraceful. We ordered on the app for takeout because my gift card, compliments of my mom as a gift, was not working on ordering. Called and the lady said we should come in and bring the gift card and pay. Waited in line and had a young gentleman take our name and said he would be right back. He didn't come back and in his place stood a vile woman who was snapping at us, " you have to be in line at the bar or you won't be helped". Stunned we stated a young man took our order. She barked back, " well I don't know how that is possible when I'm the only one working takeout right now and helping customers". Then just walked away. 3 people by this time were helped before us. And we were in line standing on the dots to signify social distancing. We finally get up to the counter and state it's under my name. She retorts, " okay, well it's not under that name it's under Alex so" I'm sorry? But what did we do to you? Nothing! We were kind, we tipped, we waited while you said our gift card could be "fraudulent" and took my phone so your manager could have my phone for 5 minutes in the back room somewhere... Instead of writing down the gift card number you took my phone! To the back not for a quick second. For 5 minutes! Where I can't see you nor see what you are doing with it. Sketchy? Yes! By the time we finally could leave it was 1:35pm. I usually would let stuff like this pass but this was appalling service, rude staff that helped, and now cold food. The waitress come over right way to take our drink and appetizer order and came back often to check on us she was very friendly and nice one of the best waitresses we have had there as it wasn't our first time there. Last night, I order the Pepper Steak w/rice & Sweet and Sour Chicken through carryout. The S/S Chicken had small pieces of chicken and the pineapples were even smaller. The Pepper Steak was hard and tough, I gave it to my dogs. This is the second time in a row, that the steak was hard and tough. It appears that they are now using cheaper cuts of meat, veggies, & fruit. I have been a customer of P. F. Chang for 22 years and I am very, very disappointed in this restaurant. What ever changes that corporate made is a VERY BIG MISTAKE. I don't care how short on money I may have been, I always had money for P.F. Chang. I went to the P.F. Chang's in the Tyler mall area in Riverside. The food was very good but the problem was the portions were ridiculously small for an extremely high price! We got three entrées which would barely be enough for two hungry people. The service was fair. So when we got there we were seated right away. We sat there for a few minutes while the waitress and waiter trainee were serving the table directly behind us. The waiter mentioned that he was a trainee, and then asked us if we wanted drinks. He said they serve Coke products. We asked if they serve root beer and he said "No, (they) have Mr. Pibb." Mr. Pibb (as most people know) is NOT root beer! It's a Dr. Pepper rip off. So he got us our drinks and then he asked us if we had ever been there before. We told him that we never had been, and to please suggest something he would recommend. He mentioned that he loves the Mongolian beef. So I said I would take it. He also suggested the Low Mein Noodles and the waitress suggested the Crunchy Honey Shrimp. We ordered all three. When they left to put in our order I glanced down at the bar menu and noticed that not only did they serve root beer, they had Barq's which happens to be my wife's favorite! I understand that he was in training, but he should have found out before saying that they did "not have root beer." The portions were very small for the price. The most ridiculous thing was the rice portion! Normally, at Chinese food places the rice is something they don't skimp on. So we were very disappointed! The service was fair; not bad, but definitely not good either. The entire meal was over $100.00! An absurd price for a meal that was ridiculously skimpy! The last few times I've visited have been very disappointing. Each time they have either forgotten to bring us a dish we ordered, or brought the wrong dish to the table. The worst food ever!! We ordered the lunch feast my husband ordered the shrimp fried rice it was horrible! My husband took one bite and sent it back the shrimp was bad. He tried veggie rice and it was unappetizing, the rice was gummy and the veggies overcooked. My broccoli was soggy and overcooked. The spring rolls were very greasy. My husband did not eat anything and sent it back and the manager still charged us for his meal. First I want to make sure that the owner see that I am beyond impressed with our server, Jordan. She was the BEST! We came in for a late lunch/dinner and Jordan took care of us. She was super sweet, attentive and helpful. Giving us suggestions and making sure our dining experience was perfect. Ok now the food. I have been craving good food Pad Thai since my last favorite Thai food place. I ordered shrimp pad thai. Phenomenal! The vegetables were fresh, crisp and really made the dish so so good! Never been to P.F. Chang's. I didn't mind waiting 45 minutes because many people hyped it up. Appetizers came out fairly quick (good sign). I ordered the ribs; a little tough: and the pan-fried dumblings; could've been a little more seasoned. The main course was then introduced. The rice was slightly mushy (I understand that rice is an obstacle). The changs chicken pretty good (no complaints). Beef with broccoli was a really good 50/50 portion, though the beef was a little too well done (slightly tough to to chew) it was well seasoned and sauced with the broccoli. And finally the Lo Mein, surprisingly very saucy because it doesn't look like it. Overall, I had amazing service with our waitress, food came out at a reasonable time, the wait time was long (my fault forgetting it was a Saturday night). Would give it a score of 7/10 read more

Came here with a vegan friend knowing there would be some veggie and tofu options. We shared the ma po tofu and stir-fried eggplant, both of which were delicious! We were actually inspired to go and make some eggplant ourselves! We didn't order a rice or noodle dish, but the entrees did come with a pot of brown rice that soaked up the sauces wonderfully. I also felt like the dishes didn't use as much oil as some traditional places do. The servers were nice and attentive, refilling our water glasses without intruding on our conversation.
