This P.F. Chang's is located at The Shops at Norterra Plaza. We met friends for dinner. This is one of their favorite spots to eat. Staff are very attentive and friendly. We all ordered the Chef's Special. This consists of a choice of soup or salad, appetizer, and an entrée. It's a great deal. We decided on three salads and one hot and sour soup, vegetarian spring rolls lightly fried green beans, sesame chicken, Mongolian chicken, orange chicken, seared honey chicken, and a bowl of white and brown rice. Service was very fast. The, soup and salads arrived first. Shortly after that, the appetizers arrived. The food was tasting good. The gravy might have been a little bit heavy otherwise the proteins were made very well. A very nice dinner. Nice decor inside. Shared parking in the plaza.

I recently went to PF Chang's for the first time in years. I feel like it used to be awesome and a special occasion type of place, but now I feel it's just ok, maybe a 3.5. Honestly, I feel like I get the same quality at their fast casual restaurant Pei Wei. The lack of any meny specials, such as a lunch special on the weekend, or any deals made me not wnjoy this recent trip as much, especially seeing how I can eat much cheaper at Pei Wei. That said, PF Chang's Kung Pao Shrimp and hot and and sour soup are still great. Service was great and very attentive. Maybe I'll come back during the week when they have lunch specials.

Marco was our server today and he was great. Attentive, patient and helpful. Food was hot and done very well. The restaurant was full and we were taken care of quickly.

Restaurant looks great a remodeled happened since last time I've been there. Our waiter was very friendly and informative about the menu items. My husband ordered a beer with a glass. The glass was warm and very spotty. Maybe the filters but someone should definitely be cleaning the glasses when they come out of the dish washer. The firecracker shrimp was delicious a recommendation from the waiter. The dynamite shrimp was on point. However the orange chicken was a bit too spicy for my mom. They have a happy hour however, it is only on the bar or patio area till 6:00pm. I do miss the duck and Chilean fish they were the family favorites.

Keep seeing advertisement for Cherry Blossom Martini so I stopped in to place a to go order & try the martini. Wednesday night just before 9pm not very busy at all. There were two bartenders, a male and a female. I kept hearing the women at the bar saying Calvin so I know he was the other bartender, but there was a female bartender. She approached me and asked me what I wanted. I explained I wanted the cherry blossom martini, but with vodka, she said OK and went to make it. When she brought it over, it was overflowing. It was dripping the whole way to me. She dripped on the entire bar, set the drink in front of me with the wet napkin & the sticky glass When I asked about the rim she said "oh it's on there." So much for presentation.

For dinner Dad and I weren't extremely hungry but knew we needed something so we decided upon PF Chang's appetizers. Admittedly we thought it was going to be a Pei Wei but it is basically the same right? Dad loved the lettuce wraps from a long time ago while I don't believe I've ever had them. They were so good! To the point we're considering making some with our lettuce at home. Then we had a plate of edamame which counted as our veggie, and the pork dumplings. It was so good all of it! We decided upon a pot of oolong tea as well which made it all so light, refreshing and delicious. Our waitress Hailey was so good and kind. She made sure there was extra care to our bell pepper allergy and we really respected that! She also recommended the limited seasonal individual butter cake and it was so tasty and gooey. Our ice cream was a bit too frozen so it wouldn't exactly melt with the cake's temperature but it was still so good!

Wifey and I went out to dinner here on a Tuesday night 12/10/24. Located at Norterra shopping center with tons of parking and ample handicap parking situated as close as you can get to the front door. We were seated promptly and was greeted by Ramon, an amazing and friendly manager. Our server was Jasmine who was very attentive and on point with our food and drinks. Ambience here is romantic and artsy great for date night or business meals with professional colleagues. Beautiful tables with chairs and booth seating designed for Asian theme decor. Full bar is near the front of the restaurant. So we've been to PF Changs before in different locations (Los Angeles and Honolulu) and this is high end Chinese/Japanese fusion. Food here is very high quality and served with great presentation. Never a hit or miss experience as they always, always focus on consistent great food. Here's what we ordered and our feedback. Pomegranate lemonade: non alcoholic drink that was perfectly sweet, not too sweet and paired well with the flavors of the food. Great drink!! Lettuce wraps: fresh crispy lettuce served with sweet flavored chopped chicken. Our first time eating this and it was yummy, ate the whole thing Appetizer ribs: this was superb, the meat was moist and not dry at all. Flavored well and I could eat this as the main course by itself, amazing dish!! Very meaty pieces too! Crab wontons: crispy and hot, served on top a nice sweet drizzled sauce on the plate. Crunchy and tasty!! Mongolian beef: sweet and firm pieces of beef, deep fried with a sweet glaze. Prepared with chopped green onions and served with hot rice. Fantastic dish!! Sweet Honey Chicken: Tender chicken pieces with a balanced honey flavor. Excellent texture and not a dry piece on the plate. Served with hot fluffy rice. Dynamite Sushi: I didn't try this as my wife ate this and enjoyed it immensely. Next time we will order 2 orders of this instead of 1. She said it was super fresh sushi. This meal did not disappoint. Of all the times we've had PF Changs through 10+ years, we have never had a bad experience, ever. Take a date here, power business lunch or take the whole family, there will be something on the menu for everybody. Thanks to Manager Ramon and server Jasmine for your great customer hospitality and customer service!!

9/11/24 - 2nd time for my wife and I. She likes their sushi. I like their regular Chinese combo meals. Both times I was impressed. Their prices seemed higher this time, but so do everyone else's. This location is a smaller location. Much brighter than the other locations. Maybe because its ins an area that has a high family/children population. Indoor and outdoor seating. Along with a Take Out section. My first time at this location. I did not need a reservation on a Friday night I was able to get a seat right away. Our server was friendly may have been new because his recommendations were off and did not seem familiar with the menu. My party ordered the chefs special for $19.99 per person starting fee which came with one appetizer, main entree per person along with one soup/salad per person. Definitely a great deal. A lot of screw ups between drinks and food but the crew was quick to fix everything. Everyone was friendly. The food was pretty good. I would return another time to see if the experience is much better. Plenty of parking Kid friendly Bar area with TV's

So, I haven't been to a P.F. Chang's in about a decade, and we decided to swing in for a random mid week lunch. The architecture and interior design is nice and upscale feeling, it's a cool vibe. The server was friendly and quick. However, I think the quality isn't what I remember. The Mongolian beef was overcooked and rough, my boyfriend didn't care for it. The orange chicken was really tasty, and I liked the dumplings. The egg drop soup tasted fishy and was so piping hot, it wasn't able to be enjoyed very much. My boyfriend said the egg roll was just okay. I would give it another shot but just not the quality I remember.

I ventured inside on this lovely Sunday, noting a delightfully serene dining room with only a few select patrons present. They also feature a beautifully appointed small bar that crafts cocktails, which adds a sophisticated touch. I escorted myself to an excellent table and requested a bowl of Egg Drop Soup to enjoy while engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the attentive staff. The preparation was entirely satisfactory. While the interior architecture and decor are not quite as grand in scale as I had initially envisioned, the aesthetic is tastefully curated and not bad at all. For my main course, I selected the Mongolian Beef from the menu a splendid choice, and beautifully priced at $14.85. To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Unfortunately, whatever is happening on the takeout and bagging side of the house is completely unacceptable. Whatever you do, do not place an online order for takeout. For the third time in a row, our takeout order arrived with no rice. Every entrée comes with white rice, and we even paid extra for an additional side of rice. Rice is essential to this cuisine -- it's not optional -- and when I'm paying $107 for a relatively small meal, I expect to receive what I paid for. When my wife picked up the order, she was rushed out the door and didn't have an opportunity to check the bag. I wasn't feeling well, so I had to call the restaurant, wait on hold, explain that our rice was missing, and then be told that I'd need to drive back to pick it up, turning the entire meal cold. To make matters worse, the initial offer was a $2 credit for the missing rice. Only after asking to speak with a manager did they eventually offer a $25 credit toward a future visit, which frankly required far more effort than it should have. On top of that, while the food is usually very good, tonight my entire family independently noted that the chicken had a strange plasticky, almost metallic taste, which was very odd and concerning. That's not something we've experienced here before, but it definitely added to the disappointment. Again -- the food is typically good. But the repeated takeout mistakes, lack of quality control, and poor handling of a reasonable complaint make this a hard place to recommend right now. This has happened three times, and at this point they really need to get their act together.

They should put some tables outside to accommodate more in dining seating. Overall delicious and would come back!

Smallish eat in restaurant in a strip mall on Carefree Hwy near the I17…read more Got there at 6 pm and all 12 tables but one were filled, mostly with seniors. Almost all were gone by 6:30. Brisk take out business. The two of us were seated at a table for 10! The only table left. Fried wontons and sweet and sour sauce were brought to the table. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls as an appetizer. Huge, piping hot and no peanut paste which as someone with a peanut allergy I'm grateful for, to say the least. Had the beef chow fun, sesame chicken and BBQ pork egg fu yung. Waitress commented...that's a lot of food for the two of you. She was right. The portions are gigantic. Could easily feed six people. Beef chow fun was good. Wide rice noodles and beef that had some texture and chew to it. Not tough, but not so tenderized that the texture is mush. Sesame chicken is excellent. Plating is poor though. It's just the sesame chicken. They could have added a sprig of broccoli and julienned carrots just for a better visual and contrast. Egg fu yung. The east coast style. Not sure what the deal is out here in Phoenix but most places make an egg patty and put the ingredients on the top. Pretty awful. Not at Dao. They make it the right way with fluffy egg patties and the ingredients INSIDE the patty. BBQ pork was there...but not enough to my liking. Three huge patties. Sauce isn't your typical "brown" goopy sauce though. It's more like a plum sauce. Different. But good. Overall, definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Phoenix area. Overall cost was $55 with a beer. And a ton of food. Had two more meals from it at home. Downside? I had to ask the server for spoons. How were we supposed to get the food from the serving plates to our plate? Fried rice is very poor. Rice in a tiny bit of soy sauce and some microscopic egg. Disappointing. Add some diced veggies at least and bean sprouts. Lots of containers for the leftovers, of course. Overall, we'll come back. Huge improvement on what most Chinese restaurants in the Valley are.

After having not been to Dao Kitchen since COVID we decided to get dinner there tonight…read more We were pleased to see that the inside had been remodeled since our last visit and it was much more appealing to the eye. We placed a to go order for a number of dishes including an order of cashew chicken with no brown sauce. We were told it would take 15 to 20 minutes so we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks and they offered a bowl of wonton chips while we waited. The food was ready quicker than 15 or 20 minutes which was a nice surprise. We got home and unfortunately the cashew chicken came with the brown sauce the I asked be left off. I noticed that it wasn't specified on the receipt even though I ordered it. I immediately called the restaurant and they apologized and offered to replace the dish without the brown sauce and since if wasn't far from my house I agreed. I drove to the restaurant to pick it up and came home and while there was no brown sauce now there were no cashews...not what I asked or paid for. Now I'm afraid to order to go at Dao unless I check our food before we leave the restaurant. I rated this restaurant 3 stars because the food was flavorful but I couldn't get the dish I ordered or paid for.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time and so glad I finally got to last…read moreFriday at lunch time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and feels very upscale. It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

I ordered the seafood jjam-pong and Genghis-khan beef. The jjam-pong was not oily like at other restaurants which I appreciated. It was very flavorful and clean tasting. The beef was delicious and savory. I couldn't finish it all and had leftovers. I would definitely go back and try many other dishes. Highly recommend!
